The "it doesn't belong on digg" comments are very out of place on a site so completely based on the content being generated by the people using the site. Sorry if it offends your personal sensibilities, but what gets on the front page is what is popular with users. Find something else (or maybe write your own website for it) if you're offended. Or hey, how about using the content filters up at the top?

If you came with food, they would crawl on your lap to get it. I used to stand up and have them climb up on top of my head and up my outstretched arm to eat peanuts. And when they got the peanuts - they wouldn't jump down and run off with them. They'd sit on my head and eat them.
