- funkyjunk3, on 10/22/2007, -3/+99and all stomp like mad to make a small earthquake. Kim Jong Il claims new, low-yield nuclear underground test.
- suxmonkey, on 10/10/2007, -6/+80Absolutely stunning and, of course, equally depressing ... proaganda at its best!
- imjustabill, on 10/10/2007, -8/+72I thought they would all be playing starcraft.
- MasterThief117, on 10/10/2007, -4/+66You would be too if you were killed for not cooperating.
- chocobomog, on 10/10/2007, -9/+54"Multiple international human rights organizations, including Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch, accuse North Korea of having one of the worst human rights records of any nation. North Koreans have been referred to as "some of the world's most brutalized people", regarding their severe restrictions on political and economic freedoms. North Korean defectors have testified to the existence of prison and detention camps with an estimated 150,000 to 200,000 inmates, and have reported torture, starvation, rape, murder, medical experimentation, forced labor, and forced abortions."
I guarantee you we have it much better than the North Koreans. - RooDoG, on 10/22/2007, -1/+46Meanwhile, the nations dog population skyrockets to record numbers.
- mastercheif, on 10/22/2007, -2/+43Delis everywhere close.
- mrferg, on 10/15/2007, -3/+37Though imagine the horror after the event lets out, 100,000 Koreans on the road at once in one place.
I kid though, they probably have bikes at best if they are lucky. - alphalux, on 10/10/2007, -0/+34Yeah it looks great, but the only way you can up your resolution in that place is to use smaller people.
- alx359, on 10/10/2007, -1/+34pixelpeople...
- DeliLlama, on 10/22/2007, -1/+34I think I see some dead pixels in there...
- johnburk, on 10/10/2007, -8/+38By far the most disciplined people in the world!
- sensoukami, on 10/10/2007, -2/+30that's South Korean (though you're probably being facecious and I just missed it...one can never tell)
- DiggsOnlyJew, on 10/10/2007, -2/+23Who is we? The U.S.? I think if the North Koreans said half the things about their dictator as people on Digg do about our government, they'd be silenced and killed...
- Myonosken, on 10/10/2007, -3/+23and are shot for they did not follow the glorious leaders orders to disperse.
- funkyjunk3, on 10/10/2007, -1/+20yes, that is all it takes...to start WW III. I don't know how you feel, but that's not something I would like to be drafted for...
- CGorman68, on 10/10/2007, -2/+20Because they eat dogs, right? I get it.
- brewer, on 10/10/2007, -1/+18I don't believe that they think that they have it good. They are just too frightened to express otherwise.
- soccerman90, on 10/10/2007, -0/+16the people arent the problem. its the government who has 100% control of their lives and total control of the media
- mookst3r, on 10/10/2007, -30/+43In reality,we are similar to them. Those people think they have it good...they don't know any better. We think we have it good....cause we don't know any better....
- drizzlelicious, on 10/12/2007, -2/+15Actually they are. If you look again, those circular things they're forming are actually wraiths.
- severfire, on 10/10/2007, -2/+15"So, 100K North Koreans gather in a stadium..."
"... and they invented biggest plasma display ever" - proghead, on 10/10/2007, -0/+12they're koreans... the resolution is almost at its peak.
- funkyjunk3, on 10/10/2007, -0/+10in America though we have practically uncensored internet, which is a form of media. North Korea? Internet is simply a propaganda bulletin service probably. We also have public radio/TV, etc. Our media isn't COMPLETELY controlled by govn't, however I agree it isn't exactly "Free Press" eather.
- Myonosken, on 10/10/2007, -10/+20Neither of you did.
- Dan137exe, on 10/10/2007, -15/+24You make it sound like the Soviet Union had the moral high ground.
- kodomosuki, on 10/10/2007, -1/+10in b4 zerg rush
- xGeneric, on 10/10/2007, -1/+10Holy *****! I kept waiting for the /end sarcasm bit... but it didn't come. You are 100% out of your ***** mind. It's not even worth the time to pick apart quotes like "North Korea enjoy not only social safety but a high standard of living that is not equaled in many parts of the World Body". Safety? Let me ask you this... what would happen if I disagreed publicly with the Government? Safe, huh? Talk about BS propaganda. You're either A. From a wealthy NK family, B. Not from NK and have no idea about it, or C. Are one of the average NK folks who have been brainwashed into thinking that ***** of a country is the greatest place on earth.
After all, no one in North Korea starves while the great leader indulges himself to no end... no, that would be ridiculous! All hail Kim Jong-il and his visionary style of leadership that has propelled NK to be one of the wealthiest, friendliest, and most admired country in the world!
/end sarcasm - clark24, on 10/10/2007, -10/+19You completely missed his point.
- jamangold, on 10/10/2007, -0/+8Imagine this obscene expression of energy and creativity channeled into ensuring that food and basic supplies are distributed to the population of North Korea.
- gglynn07, on 10/10/2007, -1/+9RooDog: You beat me to it. I was going to say that they imported 100k dogs in for the tailgate party, or the dogs used the distraction to run for the border(Taco Bell, c'mon)
- jamangold, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7I believe it's a metaphor of some sort.
- Frostman3D, on 10/10/2007, -3/+10Just like we live in America.
- Jezon, on 10/10/2007, -1/+8Actually I think those are people wearing different colors. Probably would be really cool to see a video of this. Its amazing what you can accomplish when you deprive people of freedom.
- funkyjunk3, on 10/10/2007, -3/+10He is simply pointing out how bad it is in North Korea. And to be honest, I'm sure there are lots of North Koreans who would rather have been born somewhere's else. Not the majority mind you, but a good percentage.
- canuq, on 10/10/2007, -3/+10Mirror: http://mirror.canuq.com/3696552/node/6592.html
- greenblob, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7Massive SC tournament?
- holygram, on 10/10/2007, -1/+7I assure you, this isn't MoveOn's wet dream.
- Walli, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6Kim? Is that you?
- xGeneric, on 10/10/2007, -1/+7And while countless numbers of Kim Jong-il's citizens starve, he finds displays like this totally necessary. It's like taking an old junk car with a rusted engine, and giving it a good paint job. Looks good on the outside, but on the inside, everything is horribly wrong.
Tactics like this only help morons like empirefalling(seriously, if you haven't read her comment, scroll up) push their mind numbingly insane propaganda into view of the rest of the world. Every country has their own propaganda machine... but the ridiculousness of NK's is just staggering. I think it's mostly just to keep their own citizens believing in their insane leader, as just about anyone on the outside of NK realizes the living hell it's become. - Breepee, on 10/10/2007, -3/+9Kim Jong Il _IS_ a brutal dictator.

- satost, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5You are a MORON if you believe that. I shudder to think of what else you believe in. What does your bedroom look like? Hammers and sickles everywhere? Pyramids? Do you communicate with aliens, belong to anny cults? Stay away from anyone offering you poison kool-aid and please seek psychiatric help immmediately.
- Wojek, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5fail, Internet Expert in power.
- mclumber1, on 10/10/2007, -7/+12I'm pretty sure we do have it better than North Korea. Show proof to the contrary, and I may listen to you.
- Takteek, on 10/10/2007, -4/+9Wtf are you talking about?
- johnn11238, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5Mmmmm...love that blogspam.
- kodax, on 10/10/2007, -4/+9You also missed his point.
- satost, on 10/10/2007, -1/+6Looks like a Nazi rally to me. No wonder the socialists on DIGG are impressed.
