Hubbard at one stage did organise his followers to infiltrate the US government to censor dissent against scientology, remove certain records and try to get tax exemption status. However, it's disguised as a "religion" to help people, tricking them into paying high fees for the Scientology material... And in the top you have movie celebrities, CIA heads, etc happily sharing the crop from it. Pretty disgusting, really...

    It's a pyramid scheme disguised as a religion, and what's so crazy about it is that so few celebrities seem to take it as very bad PR to be a member there. *shrug*

Noriega and many other undesirables have been sources because they potentially have useful information and its easier to keep track of them if they are in contact.
  • nonsequitor, on 01/25/2008, -0/+2I don't think so. Scientology doesn't want all this information revealed all at once. As you are indoctrinated more is revealed. It's a very careful process. Shining light on it like Anon is doing now reveals that they are insane.
    If you want an idea of the depths of insanity that drives scientologists, read L. Ron Hubbard's "Target Earth" Anthology. Look at the paranoia of the main characters and realize that is what is being indoctrinated into the members of the CoS.
