I've played this game before as a kid. I think they want you to feel bad no matter what you say. Its a way to control people. Not blacks but people that are *****. They want control over you. The name of the river itself is derived from a Tuareg word, ngher, a shortened form of "gher n gheren" (river of rivers). It is not etymologically related to the Latin word niger.
