- wiebeezy, on 10/12/2007, -1/+32Now that I look closely at it... it sure is the French Quarter in New Orleans.
I'm New Orleans born and raised.
Undugg and buried for fake story. - FakeFakerson, on 10/12/2007, -1/+32Yeah, It's almost certain this story was fabricated. The picture was most likely taken at Mardi Gras. Also, I've seen this one before.
- dairyland, on 10/12/2007, -0/+25Yep, fake cover story. This pic is from Mardi Gras. Here's a copy of the same picture with a wider view: http://pandagon.net/2006/03/17/when-mardi-gras-meets-mickey-mouse/
- rasterbator, on 10/12/2007, -0/+20The Disney-ization of Disneyland.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -4/+20NSFW???
- ffunky, on 10/12/2007, -0/+12Agreed w/ wiebeezy. This is an old (as in at least 2 yrs) photo of the folks attending Mardi Gras.
- zlintux, on 10/12/2007, -1/+12I think it's worth noting that only one place in Disneyland serves alcohol -- Club 33, which is exclusive and wouldn't even serve beer like that.
- dunezone, on 10/12/2007, -1/+12Dibs on the mom.
- IheartZombies, on 10/12/2007, -1/+11Yeah I'm with you. I've seen this picture about 4 times in the past few years.
- endgames, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9I second the notion that this Mardi Gras. She's carrying a "Huge Ass Beer" cup, while not exclusive to New Orleans, this is definitely not any Disney outfit.

Sadly, the actual page is now offline, and there's of course a risk that in the future an actual XXX site will come to reside at that domain. - Sirocco, on 10/12/2007, -2/+10Fake, old, and lame.
- dracostimpy, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9I'm pretty sure those are real. But I agree at least that the mom's are old and lame.

- drm237, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6EPCOT is at Disney World, not Disneyland...
- bane3d, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6Actually, that's not true. You can drink at many locations. Epcot has many places to get a beer. as for the story, its fake. I've seen that picture before a long time ago.

Pic is real, story is total *****. They wouldn't even let you on the disney tram to get the the front gate dressed like that. For those that don't know, you park like half a mile from disneyland and then take a tram to the front gate. - smackhero, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4it's egregious i tell ya!

"Epcot has many places to get a beer."
Epcot is in Florida.
Disneyland is in California.
The only places you can get alcohol at the Disneyland Resort is in Club 33, California Adventure and Downtown Disney. - LuciferSam, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Dugg for boobage.

- ThePict, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3NSFW??? Where I work, my superior had me take several hours to 'shop the head of a co-worker who had taken a trip to Disneyland into this very picture. We then made it his desktop wallpaper.
Disclaimer - IANAGA (graphic artist), so yeah, it did take me several hours to make a decent looking version of this at desktop resolution. - Darth, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Yeah, some kid is just gonna stroll up to them, and say "Can I play with your Mickeys" :D

True enough, and Disney are doing just that. But luckily Disney are not actual religious fanatics themselves.
I can report that when I visited a Disneyland Paris a few years back, they still had signs up that no matter what the temperature and age, even children can't run around without shirts on. Apparently they had initially made an effort to apply these US standards. But when I was there, they were already losing the battle. The social standards in France are thankfully different and in the Summer it's socially acceptable to have toddlers romp about without extraneous clothing. (Honi soit qui mal y pense. http://tinyurl.com/2cltpf )
I even saw some family that had their stark naked toddler take a leak in the bushes. Don't tell me Disney didn't notice -- of course they did. But they knew better than going against local community standards and kicking a fuzz about it at a time they were already struggling to drive enough visitors to the resort.
So they do have sense, and if they come down really hard on the semi-revealing dress the ladies in the original story sported, it's simply because local community standards in the US demand it.
It may be a small world, but thankfully we can still relish in our differences and agree to disagree.
For the record, if I had run across those two ladies, I'd have smiled, laughed and given them the thumbs up. IT IZ TEH FUNNAY!!!11one - importantname, on 10/12/2007, -3/+6yup, nsfw.
- sriggins, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2BS. old photo and lame, she has beer in her hand, as if you'd have that in Disneyland. Get some smarts before you post a story as bogus as this. (Gals are cool for doing it tho, most likely on Burbon St in Nawlins)
- Smeed, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3I didnt dig it for the story, just for the pic.
- AntBing, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Not surprising. I remember a story from a while back about a photo used in a bit of Disney advertising showing too much cleavage. I looked for the story but couldn't find any links. Apparently Disney pulled the ad campaign at an extreme cost to keep themselves family friendly. If your business caters to children, it's smart business to take precautions and be overly cautious about your image.
- kc0re, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Nice reference
- ROFLance, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2The best part of that picture is the look on the guy's face in the back. He has his hand on her, too. Probably trying to cop a feel.
- willclarke, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2@endgames
Dugg for reminding me of strolling down Bourbon St. with a Huge Ass Beers beer in my hands. Laissez bon temps rouler - kc0re, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2But you can't drink in Disneyworld. There is only one place you can drink in DisneyWorld, and I doubt they can get in.
- AnimalTaglits, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3Niccccce.
- moofer, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1This photo is years old, and was taken in New Orleans. Total crap. Undugg for being inaccurate.
- jedi55555, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I have seen this pic on multiple other sites for years.
