- Dradis, on 05/16/2008, -0/+53I can only hope that when you complete a circuit around the block someone gives you your $200 salary.
- neuens07, on 05/16/2008, -0/+50I wonder how many people jump over this tile... We need a 24 hour webcam
- ISmokesDaPot420, on 05/16/2008, -1/+37Why didn't I think of that?
And when/where can I play human monopoly? - abatch, on 05/16/2008, -0/+31Income Tax: Pay $200 or do math.
- dougvfr750, on 05/16/2008, -3/+32Dibs on Boardwalk
- tankintheair315, on 05/16/2008, -2/+21Thats pretty sweet....brings back memories.
- doctechnical, on 05/16/2008, -0/+18You can have Boardwalk, give me the orange properties. Those are earners.
- thelastcivilian, on 05/16/2008, -0/+13But where's the money go? It's a little hard to find free parking these days.
- doctechnical, on 05/16/2008, -0/+10I never understood how Park Place and Boardwalk got such high property values when right around the corner are the slums of Baltic and Mediterranean.
- Totalchaos02, on 05/16/2008, -0/+10"Let's see if I add up all the houses... and then I have these two railroads... ***** this! Take your damn money."
You have no idea how many times I've heard my grandma say that... - MikeinLoFi, on 05/16/2008, -0/+10damn anonymous artist, you clever!
- Lindbird, on 05/16/2008, -0/+9Lincoln Park really is an expensive place to live...
http://maps.google.com/maps?ie=UTF8&oe=utf-8&clien ... - mokayogi, on 05/16/2008, -2/+11I call the Thimble.
- twertyto, on 05/16/2008, -0/+8It appears to be made of concrete not iron.
- SonnyJoeFoxx, on 05/16/2008, -0/+7I remember when the luxury tax was only $75. We thought we had it tough then.
- inactive, on 05/16/2008, -0/+5I thought Luxury tax was when I give panhandlers all my money. I can't go two blocks without one of these ***** asking for money and some of them will get right up in your face, not to mention the ***** that goes on the trains.
- Gioleb, on 05/16/2008, -1/+6In Chicago? I'm pretty sure they'd have a use for the Go to Jail square.
- witcompe, on 05/16/2008, -0/+5Then I shall have the Railroads and laugh at your petty incomes!
- rollerboy, on 05/16/2008, -0/+4That is fantastic. If I owned a city block I would do this to it. Then I could play in it.
- 3amboo, on 05/16/2008, -0/+4i'm the racecar!
- MAGZine, on 05/16/2008, -0/+4Now all we need is a "Free Parking" Tile.
- b3astie, on 05/16/2008, -0/+4It's all about the top hat.
- wickensworth, on 05/16/2008, -0/+4I've heard your grandma say "***** this" in a slightly different context
- Hammerheart, on 05/16/2008, -0/+4Sounds like a fun idea but how are we going to roll the hotel sized dice?
- inactive, on 05/16/2008, -0/+4Be a real estate developer?
- trivialmaggot, on 05/16/2008, -0/+4Memories of violent, hateful nights with my family.
Monopoly never ends well. - Totalchaos02, on 05/16/2008, -0/+3Shows how outdated that game is, I am not driving around that entire board for only 200 dollars. Do they realize how much gas costs?
- neuens07, on 05/16/2008, -0/+3If you get the red and orange properties the game is basically yours. Then I laugh at the fool with the railroads.
- inactive, on 05/16/2008, -1/+4Remember now..if you object to a luxury tax you either hate minorities, hate the people in lower class, a racist/bigot, hate the poor, a capitalist pig or worst.
- crzdmn, on 05/16/2008, -0/+3Google Streetview got it!!!! That's awesome
Hahaha zoom out and check out the SUV with a parking ticket!
I've never really looked closely with the zoom feature... I'm pulling License Plates left and right in cities now. - Kennerk, on 05/16/2008, -0/+3only a handfull of people know what the hell you're talking about. thank god i'm one of them... ;)
- compgeek, on 05/16/2008, -1/+4lol they should do that all over the city randomly or do it on a black and have the world's biggest monoply game
- inactive, on 05/16/2008, -0/+3Taxes might be bad in Illinois, but you can always go up to Gurney to the awesome outlet mall. $5 hoodies at pennies
- fcruz1331, on 05/16/2008, -0/+2now i want to see a life size monopoly board :)
- HotSaucePanCake, on 05/16/2008, -0/+2***** you should put one of those out front of my place
- inactive, on 05/16/2008, -0/+2Heheh, yeah, true, people don't know much about the midwest in general, I don't think. I was showing folks pictures of the T-Rex at the field museum in Chicago, the retro trolleys in Kenosha, WI, the grand hall in Union Station (I think where the famous scene in the Untouchables takes place?), and six flags great american and they were like "holy crap!" The cool thing is too is that it's much less of a hokey and touristy region... Washington DC and NYC feel more and more like Disneyland the more I visit their sights and culture areas lately :-(
- SwiftKick34, on 05/16/2008, -0/+2Could we get a Go square that lets you collect $200 every time you walk over it?
- quomen, on 05/16/2008, -1/+3I can only hope that you land on my Hotel on Boardwalk and forever live a life of indentured servitude to me.
- thelastcivilian, on 05/16/2008, -1/+3Sounds like a task for Improv Everywhere...
- MrTito, on 05/16/2008, -0/+2oh my.
- DOCKAUF55, on 05/16/2008, -0/+2The money goes right into Gov. Blago's pocket of course!
- scubasteve377, on 05/16/2008, -0/+2You'd be surprised how quick you can find yourself in the ghetto from the rich part of town in a lot of big cities.
- kawaiirobo, on 05/16/2008, -0/+1When did I say anything about everyone paying the same taxes? Personally I do believe that the rich should pay a higher rate, but it's the bitterness people feel towards those who make money that bothers me.
- SpeedSteamBoat, on 05/16/2008, -1/+2Reaganomics is *****.
Helping the rich get richer never helped the lower or middle class as much as a tax cut, and by that same token the rich can AFFORD losing these tax breaks (i.e. the aren't going to start lowering anyone's wages just because they're paying the same taxes they were a few years ago again)
You're right though. It's not rocket science. It's economics. - ThinkBox, on 05/16/2008, -0/+1No, a smart panhandler would just go to free parking, or beg at the boardwalk.
- BTConan, on 05/16/2008, -0/+1Race car all the way.
- scojerroc, on 05/16/2008, -0/+1yes, and two is not 'many', as stated in the article.
- Densonlad, on 05/16/2008, -0/+1Oh the nights spent picking up homes from inbewteen the sofa seats and making making deals with my brother to do the dishes for 2 railroads.
- scubasteve377, on 05/18/2008, -0/+1 Grrr, economonitics confuse Steembote! Steembote dig dowwn!
