I've tried figuring out why I feel the same, and the only conclusion I can draw is that despite it being awful, I feel like all humans - even the victims - are to blame for the state of world (like we're all in this together), whereas animals are completely innocent of anything so it's doubly cruel when humans pick on them for fun like this.

This cat was tied to a ***** railroad track with no other purpose then to see an awful, gruesome scene. This is not only indicative of a sick *****, but also serves absolutely no purpose then to torture an animal and possibly derail a ***** train.
If you fail to see what's wrong with that, I suggest you check yourself in with the men in white coats.

An ex-boyfriend of my sister killed little animals when he was young for pleasure. When he was older, he sexually molested my niece at two years old and murdered someone else. Also killing for food is something quite different from killing for fun. Hell If I was stuck in the jungle, I would kill animals with my bare hands for sustenance if needed, but would not kill it for pleasure.
