The nice thing about it was that Fark has picture posting powers and sure enough, the pictures started to flow.... that was until the admins locked down the ability to post pictures and began deleting posts. Needless to say having a japanese boobies thread on fark with no boobies allowed caused a mini riot (sorta like Digg's DeCSS revolt). The admins responded with accounts being banned on a wholesale level. This only added fuel to the fire. Many users who were angry about boobies being banished from fark (especially in a boobies thread) began moving to bannination.com to express their outrage and to post their favorite boobies pics. Drew's comments about the lack of boobies on fark was that it upset the advertisers. It's a damn shame when advertisers dictate your content, especially on a news site.

Of course, it's sort of a frustrating tease as well. Can't exactly talk to random girls here, even more so than in the US. While on the topic, a bit of reality for those thinking of flying over for easy hottt grlz. Dating is fairly typical, you meet people through friends and work. But, you will start with few or no friends here and most of your coworkers will probably be male. Also, most Japanese don't understand English unless spoken like they're 2 years old, with constant hand gestures, and whatever Japanese you have studied at home is most likely not enough for normal social interaction. Anyway, it's an awesome place to live.

- tsukiyo, on 10/11/2007, -5/+19After spending the last three weeks in Tokyo, here's my opinion. The girls aren't THAT hot. They're *dolled up*. IMHO, there's a huge difference between hotness and skankyness. Most "hot" girls between ages 18 to 25-ish I've seen around here are all the same:
- Bleached red curly hair
- Heels that are clumsily worn (I've even seen girls with CLEAR heels! Watch some Chris Rock if you don't know what I mean with this emphasis)
- Knee high socks
- Mini denim skirt the width of my open hand at most
- White top with low cleaveage, through which you can spot the wonderbra padding
- Black jacket two sizes too big
- Enough makeup on at any given time to supply 3 months worth of it to both Scarlett Johannsen and Angelina Jolie (I love those two girls to death, but boy do they wear a lot of makeup)
- Sunglasses that take up relatively a third of their facial area
Basically... Tramps, without the stamp (tattoos are still not seen a lot here, thanks to the Yakuza stigma). Maybe that's what some if not most guys would consider hot... I'd lie if I said these girls didn't get me to do double takes at the begining, but that's the point. Once you get past the initial reaction, and you start seeing what you think is the same girl all over town till you realize they're all just the same, you start seeking out the really beautiful ones. Men SHOULD by nature, seek out women most capable of bearing children. The features included in being able to birth and rear young are a healthy set of hips and a relatively large pair of breasts. Now, on to my scientific evolution theory. The rate of C-Section births has been steadily increasing since the 50's. Part of this is attributed to the improved safety of the procedure, but part of it is that more and more women are at risk in natural birth of severe hemmoraging during birth. I think, that if the current trend continues, and society forces this assless bitch thing down our throats for long enough, natural births will no longer be possible, say, 500 years in the future.
