- neuens07, on 08/27/2008, -10/+490 The number of chinese gymnasts that are actually over 16
- MarkusX, on 08/27/2008, -0/+38Don't hate me, but after NBC's crappy coverage of the Olympics, I can't see any more Phelps images.
I am totally Phelpsed out!
I mean the guy is awesome, but I would have liked to see a lot more other athletes that didn't get any coverage, just because they didn't go for 8 gold medals, as if that was the most important thing at the Olympics.
Bye bye Olympic Spirit.
*****, I just realized it's the NBC website.
And I wondered already, why out of 11 pictures there are 3 pics of Phelps and NOT a SINGLE other athlete mentioned.
I am soooo disappointed. - jboitnott, on 08/27/2008, -1/+341.3 billion people... 56 ethnic groups. What a country.
- IphtashuFitz, on 08/27/2008, -0/+310 - Amount of money Michael Phelps will pay to eat at Pizza Hut for the next year for beating Mark Spitz's signle-Games record of seven gold medals.
Big deal. I'll be spending the same amount of money at Pizza Hut during the next year and I've never won a medal. - DutchGuilder, on 08/27/2008, -3/+29More impressive Olympic facts:
- Demonstrations held during Olympics: 0
- People who "disappeared" after applying to hold demonstration: 74
- People who "disappeared" after inquiring about relative who disappeared after applying to hold demonstration: 1 - inactive, on 12/07/2008, -6/+32No matter how many fans he has, he still looks like a tool from the neck up.
- ScottMcIntyre, on 08/26/2008, -3/+24Michael Phelps is one popular kinda guy- as of 9am Wednesday ET he has 1,182,275 Facebook fans!!
- rmiller31, on 08/27/2008, -2/+22Phelps got too much attention... no one athlete, no matter how great, deserves to be the centerpiece of an entire olympics. i'd say he got 50% of the coverage outside of watching events, meaning specials, fluff pieces, etc
- yepezrendon, on 08/27/2008, -0/+18Why would Michael Phelps eat at Pizza Hut anyway?
- erichw1504, on 08/27/2008, -0/+14156 The number of dolphins Michael Phelps ate during the Olympics
- num63rs, on 08/27/2008, -2/+13Now we hear Phelps eats 10,000 calories a day. earlier someone said it was 12,000. Either way he eats a whole hell of a lot.
- laim, on 08/27/2008, -0/+11i wanna start a facebook group called "Michael Phelps is a very fast swimmer, but we need to stop treating him like he's the best person that ever lived"
- Filipp0, on 08/27/2008, -0/+10So all I have to do in order to get a free year's supply of pizza hut is to get 9 golds in the next olympics??
UK 2012, here I come!

- eclipse09, on 08/27/2008, -1/+10Phelps was impressive, so was Bolt from Jamaica. Def. the top 2 performers in my opinion.

- Scrappy1850, on 08/27/2008, -0/+9people in China who don't learn quickly - 73
- chrissku, on 08/27/2008, -1/+91.3 billion people and China couldn't find any female gymnasts that were 16 or older? They must not have looked very hard.
- louiebaur, on 08/27/2008, -0/+8Well they say he eats 10,000 calories a day so pizza Hut is perfect.

- ScientistBlah, on 08/27/2008, -0/+6Buried for too much Phelps. They didn't shut up about the guy all Olympics, I don't want to hear about him anymore! Frig.

- inactive, on 08/27/2008, -0/+4Considering Phelps has anywhere from 5-2% body fat, it's very plausible he eats more than 10000 calories a day
If you know how to swim well, swimming is easily the most calorie burning activity anyone can do - CherrySmith123, on 08/27/2008, -5/+9Cool pics, how can he eat that many calories and still have that slammin body.....oh yeah, he swim 83292994032294 hours a day lol.... I'm all set! :)
- citizenchan, on 08/27/2008, -0/+4Am I the only one here tired of hearing about Michael Phelps... He's just a great athlete, not the f***in second coming of Christ.
- Jabrams2, on 08/27/2008, -0/+3haha. I honestly would be more motivated to get those 9 medals if it were Papa John's personally. But I guess a free year's supply of pizza is a free year's supply of pizza. Guess I should hit the gym
- inactive, on 08/27/2008, -0/+3Badum-ba-pshhhh
- arielh85, on 08/27/2008, -2/+5Phelps is my hero. And I think I would puke if I ate a quarter of what he does per day.
- chimaera2005, on 08/27/2008, -0/+3Carbs, carbs, carbs.
- aspec, on 08/27/2008, -1/+4Calorie-wise, you're supposed to eat between a fifth and a quarter of what he does every day.
/Food for thought.
