- oOLiquidNightOo, on 04/18/2008, -0/+5i heard there was a guide detailing these techniques but i just assumed it was a rumor.
- worldinmyeyes, on 04/18/2008, -0/+3There's another alphabet agency many don't know of, the OSI. It's explicitly Orwellian mandate was to spread misinformation aimed at brainwashing the international press and "influencing public opinion and political leaders in friendly as well as unfriendly countries."
After the news broke, they changed the name, and is still working in secret today. In fact, in November 2002, Rumsfeld stated in an interview that only the name of the office was abolished, that it still exists and continues to fulfill its original intended purposes.
And yet many people think they can believe the news from the government and don't think it's mostly propaganda....

- life38, on 04/18/2008, -0/+3Words verses the visual has more impact when words are linked to a visual action. Guilt by association has been the best example of linking a message to a visual action. The more a person remembers something over time the more likely the person will believe it is a true fact even when it is not.
Where the cartoons depicted in the links below are base on fact they are great examples of how a visual effect helps a person to remember.
These EMO cartoons provides another example of how to get a point of viewed to be remembered.
