- forgiste, on 05/15/2008, -8/+3asexual would mean that they don't have sex, not that they don't have genders. If they reproduce asexually, then they wouldn't have genders, but they would be able to reproduce by budding or splitting or something.
- stronglikedan, on 05/15/2008, -2/+5In the context, I meant it to mean that they do not have sex, therefore do not care about gender, therefore don't mind sharing a rest room. Thank God they don't reproduce asexually though!

- FeartheKnighted, on 05/15/2008, -9/+180I think the emo sign should be in between the "Men" and "Women" signs...as I can never determine their gender.
- pat25fire, on 05/15/2008, -3/+17Our dudes look like chicks, our chicks look like dykes, and that's why emo, is one step, below transvestite.
- ParanoydAndroid, on 05/16/2008, -0/+1Yeah I've been tricked into catching the eye of many a cute emo boy that later turns out to be a chick. Le sigh.
- WiIlyWonka, on 05/15/2008, -5/+95Doesn't matter if you're an emo guy, or an emo girl... they both look exactly the same.

- BXRWXR, on 05/15/2008, -2/+11Because.
- SteaminTmann, on 05/15/2008, -1/+50From http://digg.com/how:
Once a submission has earned a critical mass of Diggs, it becomes “popular” and jumps to the homepage in its category. If it becomes one of the most popular, it qualifies as a “Top 10”. If a submission doesn't receive enough Diggs within a certain time period, it eventually falls out of the “Upcoming” section. - adamuffa, on 05/15/2008, -0/+16why do people ALWAYS do this, "duuuhhh how did this make the front page??"
Digg comments are not far off from youtube, which is a scary thought.- Nappuccino, on 05/15/2008, -0/+1We still have about... 30 seconds before we reach that level.

- frankingeneral, on 05/15/2008, -15/+6This is the perfect group to discriminate against...emo kids are to busy wallowing in their own misery to stand up and fight this discrimination.
- oldhick, on 05/15/2008, -2/+5I know you're just trolling, but I'll bite. Its not discrimination in the classical sense. People weren't born to be self loathing, self pitying, overly emotional douche bags. They choose to be little whiny bitches and people chose to mock them for it.
If you can't discriminate against emo douches, then you can't discriminate against assholes like me!
Cheers!

- 9TailedFox, on 05/15/2008, -10/+12All these comments laughing at emos just gives them another reason to cry and cut themselves.
- zheisey, on 05/15/2008, -3/+11Thats the point
- 9TailedFox, on 05/15/2008, -2/+5Oh, I see, CONTINUE 10FOLD!
- valis, on 05/15/2008, -9/+6A person cutting himself or herself is almost never by choice. There are deeper reasons for it and it is not likely going to be solved by being an ass about it. The people who cut themselves are usually dealing with serious trauma emerging from childhood. And not all 'cutters' can be called 'Emo' - which is just another derogatory term used by ignorant people.
- chanop, on 05/15/2008, -1/+3They didn't get hugged by their fathers enough
- oldhick, on 05/15/2008, -2/+10Its always by choice. No one grabs there hand and makes them do it. What you mean is that the need to control their environment is so powerful that they are overcome by it and resort to cutting or anorexia or what ever other mental disorder you want to toss in. But its a choice. People every day are faced with overwhelming problems, some chose to deal with it one way, some another.
- RobotLeAwesome, on 05/15/2008, -1/+1No, sometimes I cut themselves.
- valis, on 05/15/2008, -1/+2Sorry. You are wrong about that. Investigate PTSD, for example. It is not always by choice. Being ignorant of the psychology of trauma does not make you right in your assumptions, Sir.
- chanop, on 05/15/2008, -0/+1maybe their fathers hugged them too much
- oldhick, on 05/15/2008, -1/+1I know all about the psychology of trauma. Not everyone had the luxury of growing up in a happy family. Maybe it won't come as surprise to you, but I happen to know quite a few folks suffering from PTSD. None are cutters, but I get your point. I don't see how "choice" is relevant to the psychology of trauma. For instance, good psychologist and psychiatrists work with you to help you understand the choices you're making and why you're making them so you can work on making better ones. Bad ones pump you full of pills and tell you it'll be all better. Of course thats a quick summary of an entire field of study, but we don't have time for much more on Digg!
- zheisey, on 05/15/2008, -3/+11Thats the point

Not funny simply because it's lame. come on people, this doesn't belong on the front page. it's weak. - patrickxbateman, on 05/15/2008, -3/+25Aren't we tired of making fun of emo kids by now? Juggalos are way more fun to rag on, and it never gets old.

- j.carcinogen, on 05/15/2008, -8/+4Getting old, sheep. Do any of you come up with original things to make fun of? You find it OK to call West Virginians 'Hillbillies' and cry racist and act so offended when a picture of Curious George has Obama 08 written under it, yet find nothing offensive by the pictures of Obama in Obama, Japan. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BPzPlLMR6Yo
- ConceptualTrap, on 05/15/2008, -1/+4Wasn't there a Digg article awhile back that provided poll numbers that essentially said 20% of voters in West Virginia wouldn't vote Obama because he's black?
- TheDreadDiggerD, on 05/15/2008, -1/+1No one said that we were smart.

- yersoocrust, on 05/15/2008, -3/+6Diggers have a misconception of "emos." They are often labeled crybabies because of the whiny "emo" such as Hawthorne Heights and Dashboard Confessional. This in fact is not true emo. True emo started with Rites of Spring in the '80's (despite Guy's hatred of that term.) It continued into the 90's with Saetia and Orchid pioneering the genre. In the 2000's, emo has been mislabeled time and time again, and more often than not bands such as Thursday and Dashboard are getting the label rather than the real emo bands like Circle Takes the Square, Cease upon the Capitol, Raein, Ampere, etc.
- RobotLeAwesome, on 05/15/2008, -4/+8Yeah, those ***** bands are way better than those really ***** bands.

- casseyahlgrim, on 05/15/2008, -1/+2sooo...why is it a big freaking deal that these people are like..."emo?"
first of all, them being emo isnt freedom of expression, it's just people like, asking for attention. Stop giving it to them, and they'll stop. - remo2012, on 05/15/2008, -1/+1My daughter is emo since my wife was abducted ...
