As a California native I have watched our state be overrun by illegal immigrants (both Hispanic and Asian) and it has positively ruined our state. More than a few hospitals in the Southern California area have closed in recent years as a result of too many illegal immigrants requiring services which are not reimbursed from the government. Please people: get it together and understand this is a real problem.

I didn't steal this story, but even if I did (and I really didn't) it's not something you can let bother you too much on social news sites especially if there's a few days between submissions. It happens to all of us mostly because the same content gets posted to a ton of different places in hopes one of them will surface on a site like Digg.

If you can't pay, you're undocumented, and you just disappear? The hospital has to eat that cost. MediCal also pays for some stuff regardless of your legal status...
So yea, we pay for it. Personally I don't really have a problem with it. If I saw some guy get hit by a car on the street would I ask him about the status of his citizenship and insurance situation before I called 911? No.
All of the people bitching about it should try and solve the real question, which is:
