D&D Creator dies at 69

nytimes.com — I never played Dungeons and Dragons, but it's a game that was popular with many of the men who are dear to me. Which means I have a disproportionate number of geeks in my life. Still Gary Gygax's story is an interesting one, and for fantasy/sci fi fans his contribution was enormous.
