- turricanz, on 01/27/2008, -1/+78$5000? I would think it was more expensive.
- ElbertF, on 01/27/2008, -2/+72I'll do it for half the price if you digg me up.
- Zaneris, on 01/27/2008, -0/+70"It's a great tool, but we also see that it can be used to advertise for child prostitutes. We've seen that and identity theft. And now, apparently, you can advertise for a hit man on Craigslist."
This of course has nothing to do with free will, and everything to do with the flaws of the internet.
/sarcasm - mitcook, on 01/27/2008, -1/+69I have also heard that telephones have been used in murder for hire schemes as well as pen and paper and even word of mouth. I believe it is time to call an outright ban on all forms of communication since there is a possibility they can be used for wrong purposes. Who supports me in this venture.
- inactive, on 01/27/2008, -0/+58Craigslist is the new "Blackmarket"....No other place on the net where you can get your dick sucked, grass cut, a babysitter and a hitman.
Best of all it's quite likely you can find 1 person to complete all of the above. - vagrantwade, on 01/27/2008, -0/+46Oddly enough the FBI found the ad located in the "murder for hire" category of the craigslist website.
- crazysamz, on 01/27/2008, -3/+48Hey, If you still need a serial killer, Call me. just call 911, and ask for John. They'll pretend to be the cops, it's a security precaution, then tell him who you need to get killed, and they'll be at your house in about 10 minutes.
- rpi22, on 01/27/2008, -2/+44Damn! Now i'll have to find another way to advertise my services!
- Zombi, on 01/27/2008, -0/+36This is almost as dumb as calling the cops because you got scammed on your drug deal.
- DoodleMaster, on 01/27/2008, -1/+33Craigslist is hit list now.
- Chairboy, on 01/27/2008, -0/+31Did the ad make 'Best of Craiglist'?
- TheCasablancan, on 01/27/2008, -1/+25I'd imagine that assassins are just like any other trade. You pay for time, materials, and profit. Materials would be the weapon/ammunition, as a smart killer should understand that weapons are throwaway items. If you get attached to one in particular, there is an escalating probability that someone will notice that several incidents use the same type of weapon, which could lead to you. Also, I hear glasses with mustaches attached can be pricey.
- titlesaysitall, on 01/27/2008, -2/+22And to think I was paying over 9,000!
- projjalc, on 01/27/2008, -0/+19It scares me how much you're getting dugg up.

- woodcoxcb, on 01/27/2008, -0/+16Craigs hit list.
i was gonna make it all one word, but then... - SemiSarcastic, on 01/27/2008, -1/+16As a conservative Christian who wants to go back to 1599, I support this.
- jphicks, on 01/27/2008, -1/+13Dear Craig's List, I am in a luuuuuv triangle and need one of the points nipped off if you know what I mean (wink, wink, nudge, nudge). A $5,000 eradication of that particular "tip" should do the trick. Just in case you have any questions, I am mentally stable, clean, courteous and just slightly in need of some attention. Thank you Craig's List.
- inactive, on 01/27/2008, -0/+12wow and i think guns for hire in GTA series were cheap.

- TheDatabit, on 01/27/2008, -0/+4I've been trying to get into the hitman business since I was 7 (28 now) Who would have thought all I had to do was post to the same place I look for free stuff
- razorsedge555, on 01/27/2008, -0/+4Why is it that every time someone is looking for a hit man, they always end up talking to an undercover policeman in a bar?
- endustry, on 01/27/2008, -2/+6Dissent?
- Ajenthavoc, on 01/27/2008, -0/+3But your name is sam...
- phantom_mullet, on 01/27/2008, -0/+3Did someone actually carry out the murder? It would seem from the two articles posted that the ad was just posted, not that someone actually killed the person. If that's the case, than the headline is sensationalist *****.
- NeoNightmareX, on 01/27/2008, -1/+4"Linscott also visited him in Butte County in May 2007."
- chinolofus, on 01/28/2008, -0/+2this guy?
http://media.ebaumsworld.com/2007/06/mr_cool_ice.j ... - inactive, on 01/27/2008, -0/+2the favorite way for the old media to report on the internet is to say all the bad things about it.
- endustry, on 01/27/2008, -0/+2Lazerus: Did you mean "Poster's" by any chance?
- bxblox, on 01/27/2008, -0/+2Only if you don't want to get caught. I remember the "ice man" saying he used to charge upper 5 figures
- inactive, on 01/27/2008, -0/+2well it all depends on the mark.
The average unexpecting jane doe should be pretty easy to off, especially if information on wherabouts, day-to-day activities, etc has already been provided. A higher profile individual would necessarily demand a higher service fee. - candafilm, on 01/27/2008, -0/+2Hopefully they take Visa.
- djm91, on 01/27/2008, -0/+2I think that guys biggest concern now is to keep his wife from reading or watching any news or she'll find out about the affair...
- 4dna, on 01/27/2008, -0/+2wow, the woman EVERY man is looking for!
