One girl got super choked that photos her boyfriend took and sent to his friends after they broke up, she went to the principal to ask her to put a stop to it, her reply was that she was dumb enough to let him take the pictures, she should deal with the consequences and the school would have absolutely no part in the matter. (probably because of the legal ramifications, cp, etc)
Thats the way it should stay. Wether they belong to sports teams is irrelevant, schools should have no damn business in the affairs of students with the exception of their GPA and SAT scores. Instead of criminalizing it, and treating through a broken black and white filter, these kids need to understand the risks of passing around digital copies of potentially embarrassing pictures, and how these pictures will follow them. Calling it child pornography, publicizing it, and calling even more attention to these bad decisions are actually making a bad situation worse, and these ham handed moron administrators are actually abusing children.
