NOT EVERY GOOD PHOTO IS FAKED IN PHOTOSHOP! - KnightWhoSaysNi, on 10/11/2007, -0/+10"If the claims are accurate, Jamison Stone's trophy boar would be bigger than Hogzilla, the famed wild hog that grew to seemingly mythical proportions after being killed in south Georgia in 2004."
Wow! Hogzilla grew after being killed? - glasnostic, on 10/11/2007, -0/+9With an f-ing revolver!!? I would be scared to go up against that pig with a rocket launcher.

- siszam, on 10/11/2007, -3/+5Grow up. Everything you eat has to be killed. Both plants and animals. If the crap ever hits the fan your pansy ass will wish you knew how to hunt and you will be begging people to who do to share their food with you.
- waluum, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Is this Photoshopped? If not, that thing is a true beast! Must be like a Liger (Lion+Tiger), with a Hog+Rhino!
- Bigboomer223, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Publicity stunt for Hogzilla the movie..
Look at the links - mikezim9, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2How can something that big go unoticed for such a long period of time?

Kids half your age are fighting in wars in Africa and beheading "infidels" in the middle east... grow a pair, it's just a big piece of bacon. - mikemil828, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Already noted here http://www.digg.com/offbeat_news/Boy_Bags_Wild_Hog_Bigger_Than_Hogzilla#c6874406

There's a better picture... a trick of perspective, but he's still pretty damn big.
And so is the boar. - inactive, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2@fallout911
I think it is funny how people who don't understand the hunting/southern culture tend to carry these stereotypes. The hog is going to supply 800lbs of food. When's the last time you've done anything that productive - barkingfrog, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2"It's a good accomplishment. I probably won't ever kill anything else that big."
no ***** kid. - NikoKun, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Princess Mononoke Boar Gods...
- DudeRoks, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1oh my god, is that the "Man Bear Pig" that we were warned against?
- Constitution1st, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Just because we shoot a gun doesn't make us cowboys. Why kill it? Because he was hunting and the animal was in season. Just because you don't understand something, doesn't mean you have to berate those involved. This kid is not going to be teased at school, he's gonna be the local hero for a while.
"Take you kids hunting and you don't have to hunt for your kids" - Ted Nugent - Constitution1st, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1f''in yankee piece of *****. If you had seen that thing in the woods you would probably have been killed by it, or broken your own neck trying to get away from it. I'm more impressed with an 11 year old being confident enough to hunt with a 50 cal handgun, and actually hitting what he aimed at. Any 11-yr olds shooting in your part of the country probably aren't shooting at game animals fallout, they're probably shooting at human targets!
- nepalikakro, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Anybody else read "Boy Bangs Wild Hog Bigger than 'Hogzilla'" ?
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1its like a regular pig mated with a hippo or something
- rumor, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1@roketdoc (#6881403)
good job at being ignorant. its called hunting. people have done that sort of thing for millions of years (granted not always with guns).
not everyone gets every bit of food from animals raised in captivity. that is far more inhumane than hunting. - knulpm, on 10/11/2007, -2/+3Buried as a repeat.
- Rhondalay, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0Oh my gosh...that is too funny....Rosie at last!!! hahahaha

Homer: Pork chops?
Lisa: Dad, those all come from the same animal.
Homer: Heh heh heh. Ooh, yeah, right, Lisa. A wonderful, magical animal - wsmock, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0I remember when I was 12 and hunted down a 180 pound Persian cat near the golf course.
- booga1134, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0Heck yeah, get the bbq pit going, get out some Maurice Bessingers Carolina Gold BBQ Sauce and lets get to pig pickin'! Too bad there isn't an open season on Libs, digg.com would be a prime hunting spot. LONG LIVE THE NRA!!!

That wild hog probably had feral commercial pigs in its ancestry, and could like the "liger" can probably get pretty big if given enough time. For obvious reasons, once they reach a trophy-worthy size, their grow stops shortly after they first get noticed. This pig got big because he was able to allude detection for a long time. -
