Boy, 3, speared through torso with 3-foot iron rod

news.com.au — Three-year-old Mehul Kumar is lucky to be alive after being speared through the torso with a 3-foot (1 metre) iron rod. The boy, from Jharkand, India, was rushed to the hospital after he impaled himself falling off a terrace and onto a rod last week.

    It's like when my daughter almost died. Her evangelical maternal grandmother said "well, her angel must have saved her" to which I replied "angels have wings, why didn't the angel save her from falling out of a second story window in the first place?"

It may not be oozy gross, but man... in terms of being painful... this is the unfortunate winner.
