You are a complete idiot. The picture in the article, while possibly NSFW, is not child pornography. The girl in the picture is not engaging in a sexual act, nor is she posing in a sexual manner...the picture in the article is very medical in nature, not pornographic...and honestly if anybody gets off on that picture they were disgusting in the first place. Pictures of nude children are found frequently in medical documentation and science, and the medical journals never get shut down for distributing child pornography. - UGM2099, on 10/12/2007, -6/+162You get only get one guess how... GO!
- greenamp, on 10/12/2007, -5/+136It happened in 1939.

- writerboyVSgod, on 10/12/2007, -4/+114She totally looked 7.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -7/+116No.. it's the exact opposite of being "technically" child porn. Technically it is not child porn. See United States vs. Knox "The harm Congress attempted to eradicate by enacting the child pornography laws is present when a photographer unnaturally focuses on a minor child’s clothed genital area with the obvious intent to produce an image sexually arousing to pedophiles."
- RobototoboR, on 10/12/2007, -0/+104The title should read "A five year old GAVE birth" or at least say something in the description about it being in 1939. I've seen this before but I thought it was recent news or something.
- Obligation, on 10/12/2007, -4/+91Pics or it didn't... oh. I didn't actually want to see that.

Maybe hiring that baby-sitter Tom wasn't such a good idea. - brendanc, on 10/12/2007, -14/+87I'm being a grammar nazi, but FFS, it's "they're"... or "they are", not "THEIR". "Their" means it is owned by them.

Actually BobMysterioso may have a point. There was a story on digg months ago about a husband, wife and their kids on a camping trip. It was the middle of summer, the kids were like 3 and 5, so they let them run around naked. They took a bunch of pictures on the trip, then got them developed at the drug store when they got back. The developers saw the naked kids, and the cops were called in to investigate the parents for child porn. Its stupid, but for some people the line isn't so black and white.
@themastersb
Actually 3 if you RTFA - slomotion, on 10/12/2007, -12/+51c-section you *****

Son died in 1979, her second child was born in 1972, and she now lives with her husband in peru.. - loveandrockets, on 10/12/2007, -3/+36The mother would be in 6th grade and could visit her daughter over in 1st grade and make sure she brought her lunch. Convenient.

- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+32My guess: Santa.
- Shadowdev, on 10/12/2007, -19/+47I can only imagine how many times people are gonna assume their brother and sister.
- mordeci, on 10/12/2007, -7/+35Including the son. He grew up thinking his mother was his sister and didn't find out the truth until he was in his 20's or 30's. It was assumed that she was molested by her father, but it couldn't be proven, which would mean his mother really was his sister. Also interesting to note that she had her 2nd child 40 years later.
- AK10, on 10/12/2007, -0/+28Well to be fair the headline says "A five year old girl gives birth" not "gave birth". Also there in no indication in the description that this is literally out of the history books.
- sathias, on 10/12/2007, -5/+31*****' snopes
- ruslanr, on 10/12/2007, -3/+28I love how everyone dugg this thinking it happened recently.

- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -4/+24You know, it might have been a C-Section.
- danakin, on 10/12/2007, -2/+22The images aren't that bad, and unless you are in that frame of mind, they aren't sexual either. Read medical books, you'll see much worse.
