- evnucci, on 10/27/2007, -1/+7This is brilliant...I didn't even know about this! Thanks for letting me know.
- elemenop, on 10/27/2007, -1/+6Great, thanks for the heads up!
- fortyjames, on 10/27/2007, -3/+8Oh, and Paul Stamatiou! I didn't see his name on there at first, but he's another great candidate!
- wordmunger, on 10/13/2007, -0/+5Shelley Batts and Retrospectacle are awesome!
- KevenM, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5Dugg for putting $$ into education.
- rcfan, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4agreed ...
- winnopeg, on 10/27/2007, -3/+6Paul Stamatiou FTW.
- pandlcg, on 10/27/2007, -1/+3Check out this funny ass endorsement of Shelley Batts...i've never read her blog but this is one of the more interesting reasons to show your support for someone.

My name is Grant Brisbee, and I write McCovey Chronicles, a baseball site about the San Francisco Giants. I write serious baseball analysis, silly stuff, and liberally rip off the format of other sites to make a point. I don't really deserve the money, but, well, you know.
I have no idea why the scholarship is awarded this way. It's insanity.
/The power of Digg compels you. - uriah923, on 10/27/2007, -1/+3One reason to vote for Shelley Batts is she puts time into writing pro-bono educational pieces like this one recently published on OmniNerd: http://omninerd.com/articles/The_Facts_and_Myths_B ...
- bamapachyderm, on 10/27/2007, -3/+4Matthew Burden FTW!
- inactive, on 07/15/2008, -0/+1Would it be alright if I applied so I could go BACK to college? I hate it out here.
- tomato75, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2Go go go! :)
- GhostEmperor, on 10/27/2007, -3/+2Stephanie Collins really deserves that Scholarship. Her blog, "Poorer Than You," is a brilliant mish-mash of rhetoric and politics. If she doesn't get this scholarship, she won't be able to pay for the rest of her collegiate education, and who wants to leave someone half-finished with school?
- fortyjames, on 10/27/2007, -5/+3I'd like to recommend Shane Lavalette as being worthy of your vote. He's a great guy, and has made significant contributions to the blogging and photography worlds in recent years.
