- moothemagiccow, on 04/25/2009, -3/+18id rather have a demo channel so i can find out if a game is ***** or not
- angel.wardriver, on 04/25/2009, -1/+14Wonder why the virtual "concierges" need to know blood type? Sounds too cool to pass on though.
- inactive, on 04/25/2009, -4/+17Hory Chit this is Great News!
- lava, on 04/25/2009, -1/+12I think technically it would be ホリシット
- Xelseragoth, on 04/25/2009, -1/+12Yeah, same thing happened to me, it sucked having to use my wireless USB keyboard on the Wii, I mean it was exactly the same as using it on my computer, oh the horror... Seriously though, I'm giving you crap because your comment has nothing to do with anything.
- ScientistBlah, on 04/25/2009, -2/+13The wii seems like it's gotten a whole lot better since enabling SDHC support.
- moothemagiccow, on 04/25/2009, -1/+11it's a hip thing in japan, kind of like your zodiac sign.
- EnderMB, on 04/25/2009, -3/+12I'd rather see some good games come out on the Wii than this *****.
Honestly, apart from the same 6-8 games that everyone already owns what is left?! - Raian, on 04/25/2009, -4/+11We should see this in North America in 3, 2, 1, never.
I think NOA has sort of given up. - inactive, on 04/25/2009, -2/+7Has anyone here tried typing on the Wii? I had to for a week, because my computer was broke, and I swear to God, it was one of the most frustrating things I've ever done.
- emjaymj, on 04/26/2009, -0/+5You can pick up a USB keyboard for like $5...
Or lay off the caffeine. With steady hands the on-screen keyboard is a lot quicker to use than the traditional one used on every other console. - EnderMB, on 04/25/2009, -0/+5I cannot help but feel that if Nintendo were to become a third-party developer they would mop the floor with every other developer in terms of sales. As a game developer they are unstoppable, to the point that their games have shot them to the top of sales. Neither Microsoft nor Sony could claim that with any of their developers, not even the likes of Square-Enix.
- BrownieMix, on 04/25/2009, -2/+7The video channel is kind of pointless since you can play youtube videos on the Internet channel.
- Zap2, on 04/25/2009, -1/+5for ds
- SkippyDoorknob, on 04/26/2009, -0/+3They're too busy swimming around in piles of money Scrooge McDuck style.
- hilo4321, on 04/25/2009, -0/+3to be honest, if you are talking about typing with your wiimote, i was amazed at the fluidity with which i was able to type, i totally didn't expect it to be as easy as it was
however, that's not to say i prefer that over a keyboard - TheBlueVulcan, on 04/25/2009, -1/+4Just because someone calls it "half-assed" doesn't make it so. Copying it first is key to their copy protection, and is a very minor inconvenience (seconds, dude), particularly when compared to the start-up times of PS3 games...No mater how you cut it, it's a massive improvement over how it worked before, and is good enough to finally be useable.
- inactive, on 04/25/2009, -0/+3Well yeah, but I don't have a USB keyboard, so I was stuck with the Wii mote.
- SendHelp, on 04/25/2009, -0/+3Sounds like a cool concept, and I like the video on the go thing, but it's too bad you'll be limited to 480p at the most on the wii. I'll probably get dug down for saying that, but it's true. I'm a happy wii owner but I have a HDTV and 360 as well and at that point you're going to want the best resolution...
- s0nicfreak, on 04/27/2009, -0/+2http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japanese_blood_type_t ...
- s0nicfreak, on 04/28/2009, -0/+2Yeah, digg me down, because trying games before deciding if you want to support them is wrong.
- LostOverThere, on 04/26/2009, -0/+2Blame the communists? Surely you mean the Jews, right?
- locthebloke, on 04/25/2009, -3/+5Sweet! Now I can finally blow all that dust off my Wii!
/sarcasm - Mysticcal, on 04/25/2009, -3/+5I believe the point to owning a wii is not to play it regularly anymore, it's to wait until nintendo finally releases their AAA titles 1-2x a year and play Xbox / PS3 the other 9-10 months out of the year. basicly we are having to purchase proprietary hardware to play their amazing software.
I swear nintendo coulda ported over their titles to xbox/ps3 and the hardcore would be happy. but they'd never do this. - BrownieMix, on 04/25/2009, -0/+1I have a wireless USB keyboard. Typing isn't really a program with me, but I remember before I had that it was a pain in the ass.
- breakaway11, on 07/15/2009, -0/+1Wii are selling nicely, there's no doubt about it. The Wii Fit is selling extremely nice too.
http://wiifitaccessories.com - LostOverThere, on 04/26/2009, -0/+1I actually sort of agree. No doubt it was a great business decision to keep it 480p to keep the price down, but I really would like to play in full 1080p.
Oh well, that's life. :) - SkippyDoorknob, on 04/26/2009, -0/+1Wii has flash memory, not a hard drive.
- Recoil, on 05/02/2009, -0/+1Ok, that's yet _another_ Wii channel that the rest of the world won't get. How many Japan-exclusive channels are there now? I feel like I'm being shafted here.
- bbliss17, on 04/25/2009, -0/+1I wish america got cool stuff
- inactive, on 04/25/2009, -1/+2This is gonna be great. I'll be able to download like 2 TV shows before filling up my hard drive.
- Chooxo, on 04/25/2009, -1/+1Don't get me wrong, it's clearly a video service first and foremost, but there's some neat similarities with Home, is all. Particularly with the living area and the partner-company marketing spaces.
- leesw, on 04/25/2009, -1/+1I'll always feel like my childhood wasn't complete since there wasn't an Atari or Nintendo station. I blame the communists.
- inactive, on 04/25/2009, -1/+1Game Center CX Get!
- s0nicfreak, on 04/27/2009, -1/+1The "Backup" Loader channel already does that.
- doshindude, on 04/25/2009, -2/+1Yay another channel (i think it's the 5th one now) that America won't get!
- lshock1, on 05/30/2009, -1/+0Even though The Nintendo Wii is selling well it could be selling a lot better. If anyone read the recent report at http://www.lshock.com/blog/?p=1032 , you would know that websites like Gamestop.com are deliberately trying to keep the sale of Wii units lower so they can inflate demand. They are doing this by still requiring bundle packages or simply by deceptively making it appear that Stand Alone Consoles are not available.
- waqaslone, on 04/25/2009, -3/+2its wow!!!
- WhaneTheWhip, on 04/27/2009, -2/+1Wii? PC is way better for gaming.
- WutDaHeckMan, on 04/27/2009, -2/+1Sweet! Now I can finally blow all that dust off my meme!
*note* the dust on wii joke is long over. - zonk3r, on 04/25/2009, -3/+1WTF? Why is it asking for your blood type in the second video "General Introduction"?
Look: http://wii.ign.com/dor/articles/976154/wii-no-ma-v ... - treas, on 04/25/2009, -4/+2Ok, thanks for that!
- cezx, on 04/25/2009, -3/+1LOL!
- Chooxo, on 04/25/2009, -5/+2A virtual home with streaming video clips and extra marketing spaces?
Sounds like a cute version of PlayStation Home :) - iritegood, on 04/25/2009, -7/+4It's half-assed and poorly implemented though.

http://hackmii.com/2009/02/why-the-wii-will-never- ...
I'm not saying this as a Nintendo-hater, but I'm quite dissapointed in the direction Nintendo decided to go with the Wii. I just hope that the MotionPlus and games like MadWorld will encourage more third party support.
Can't wait to get The Conduit, though. - DaNuKaSAN, on 04/25/2009, -4/+1*queue numa numa music*
no ma no ma wii!
wii no ma no ma no ma wii! - doshindude, on 04/25/2009, -7/+1the Nintendo channel already has that.
