In any event, if Nintendo doesn't utilize this new 1:1 wii-mote for anything more than stupid mini-games like this, there's going to be a major outcry. And now I have to spend more money for motion sensing on my Wii? If I wanted a console that needed a motion-sensing add-on, I would have bought a tilt-pack for my N64. Lame. Now I have to buy a nunchuck, and a wiimote, and a motion+ accessory for every extra player? Wiimote & Nunchuck & motion+ should cost no more than $40 bundled all together. ***** this nickle-and-diming *****.
The Jet-Ski... err.. "Powercruiser" game looked pretty good... though it IS just another "Powercrusier" game, with terrible graphics and no features.
I remember back when Nintendo assured us Wii Sports was just a demo-like game, just to give developers ideas of what the Wii could do, and that more feature-rich games would come. Its kind of like The Sims, we make fun of it cause its simplistic and doesnt appeal to our hardcore tastes, yet it sells a 100 million copies. The Wii might not be for most diggers but I certainly think its more appealing to most people in general

Oh god yes - Lazyboy0172, on 07/17/2008, -0/+6I more or less agree, with the change of heart to Wii Sports and especially the remotes pricing scheme. If I want to do the jet-ski game with a friend (as it requires the wiimote, nunchuck and motion plus) I will get my equipment for free between the wii and the wii resort, but just to let ONE friend play, i'm paying $40 for the remote, $20 for the nunchuck, and an unknown amount for the motion plus, which could be ~$20, but I'll say $10, just for funsies.
