- kwynn87, on 08/06/2008, -1/+14Apparently an idiot... I charge $200 for people to watch me play the Wii.
- Cpt0bvius, on 08/06/2008, -0/+8Sounds like more of a workout for your wallet than you
- Claude1971, on 08/06/2008, -2/+10an idiot, with money to burn?
- Synova, on 08/07/2008, -0/+6I think you guys are a little to quick to judge. After lathering myself with snake oil that I just bought from my local salesman, I put on my magnetic headache prevention wristband, chow down on penis enlargement and weight loss pills and take a swig from my $20 Bling-H2O bottled water. That gets me just about ready to enjoy an incredible workout from a trained professional using only the most advanced workout technology. You should try it.
- blindsided, on 08/07/2008, -0/+2You, my friend, are not an idiot.
- jimmick, on 08/08/2008, -0/+1Someone's going round and burying all the comments, what is this.
- BrokenVisage, on 08/07/2008, -0/+1*cue Seinfeld clip of Jerry showing George his morbidly obese wallet in comparison to a hamburger and saying 'you've got more cow here than here!*
- inactive, on 08/07/2008, -0/+1But a fat chick and a penis will never meet.
- blindsided, on 08/07/2008, -1/+2Seems ridiculous, but you wait. Because it's a wii, people will go crazy over this and the gym will make millions!!!
- LordSturm, on 08/07/2008, -0/+1I'm gunna set up a gym in my garage!
$109 an hour. - staffell, on 08/07/2008, -0/+1Damn, I meant not fat*, not fat*
why do I even bother replying to these comments? - riptor666, on 08/08/2008, -0/+1The same people that bought the "I am rich" app for the Iphone.
- inactive, on 08/07/2008, -2/+2considering 60% of wii fit users only use it once, it's kind of a bargain.
- AceAMasta, on 08/07/2008, -1/+1Shhh...do you hear that? The bury brigade is coming!
- NJank, on 08/07/2008, -0/+0sounds like you should be working in a NYC 'booth'
- sindex, on 08/07/2008, -0/+0Are you human? PROVE IT!!!1
- vpxx, on 08/07/2008, -0/+0Resting heart rate is about 70 beats/min, logically, if you would exercise you would pump more blood therefore it would be >70 beats/min.
and 140 beats/min for a walk to the store is way too much. - Murdats, on 08/07/2008, -0/+0I have one too, it is annoying.
surely digg knows me by now, I have 4,693 comments - Murdats, on 08/07/2008, -0/+0it is valid exercise, you can't tell me that push-ups dont help you physically.
but the game has an inbuilt trainer and if you need to spend money on getting help doing that the game tells you then you need help. - dfeifer, on 08/07/2008, -0/+0You got it wrong, must be human... Proceed.
- LordSturm, on 08/07/2008, -0/+0I DON'T KNOW, WE DIGG WHORES?
- mywhitenoise, on 08/07/2008, -1/+1Yeah really. I'm so glad I got someone to buy my modified Wii for $425 on Sunday. Basically remade all the money I had spent on that piece of *****.
- mywhitenoise, on 08/07/2008, -0/+0$146? So after amazon seller fees, you make back about $5 to ship it out? What a waste of time.
- Residents, on 08/07/2008, -0/+0Way back in high school when we did cardio one of the track kids standing heart rate was 45 BPM. Walking? 60.
- untzboy, on 08/07/2008, -1/+1Well, almost all of us were idiots. Maybe more so. We did pay 250 for a few hours, after all.
- staffell, on 08/07/2008, -0/+0Ha! I'm fat at all. I'm actually a personal trainer by trade. I was referring to the fact that 140 bpm is too LOW to be a proper workout.
It's called hyperbole. Albeit a very bad one. - inactive, on 08/07/2008, -0/+0Damn fatty, might want to drive your rascal to McDonalds next time.
- iyatoni, on 08/07/2008, -0/+0Angry much?
- awtripp, on 08/07/2008, -0/+0hBFCm
- mtxrawkus, on 08/07/2008, -1/+1A fool and his money are soon parted.
- Pedobear, on 08/07/2008, -1/+0"When you envision someone playing video games, you get a vision of some kid zoned out. Or you get the picture of that slacker in his mom's basement," said Robyn Angrick, 29, who has had two Wii boxing workouts.
We've got some work to do if people still have that image of gamers. - thegrantman, on 08/07/2008, -1/+0"gets someones heartbeat up to 140 to 150 beats a minute" Waste of time and money.I can get mine up to 180 on the highway by cutting off a large truck.
- Yusami, on 08/07/2008, -1/+0I still find it odd people refer to concentrating on a game as being "zoned out".
I don't know what slush they play but the games I grew up you had to think and you had to think fast. Someone get this guy an RTS game or something. - Nymandus, on 08/07/2008, -1/+0Wow.. For 50$ an hour you can come use my Wii Fit on my big screen
- sindex, on 08/07/2008, -1/+0Title is inaccurate. They're not paying that much to play the Wii. The gym, where you pay $110 an hour, is using it to break up normal exercise routines.
- ChinezePanda, on 08/07/2008, -1/+0No..
And what the ***** is the deal with dig requiring me to enter in text before i post?!?
Wjhat the ***** is this *****. - sangres, on 08/07/2008, -1/+0hahahahaha, that was funny and so true because there's always someone that will pay.
- skyriser, on 08/07/2008, -1/+0More healthy game related news here:
http://www.healthygaming.com/ - Bozmanbeyond, on 08/07/2008, -1/+0Can we say, Suckers? This is laughing all the way to bank.
- itchie, on 08/07/2008, -1/+0Whom you ask? Perhaps the same people who spend $5.00 on a $0.50 cup of coffee.
- SirRealist, on 08/07/2008, -1/+0110 bucks for a trainer to waggle your wiimote. No thanks, I've get a massage parlor downtown that does that for 50.
- megamod, on 08/07/2008, -1/+0Well in their device she said that she only uses it as a cool down/break activity and as a reward for having done an actual work out before playing.
- projectmobius, on 08/07/2008, -1/+0Well its in Manhattan, so i'm not surprised with the $110 price tag. I bet its cheaper if its in a different location.
- Ajd9784, on 08/07/2008, -1/+0Really, People would pay for a personal trainer? Give me a break, I can hardly find an excuse to spend money on a yoga session. And on the game don't you just follow along with someone else on the screen... that's a personal trainer.
- infinitysend, on 08/07/2008, -1/+0ARE YOU KIDDING.
3 sessions and you not only paid for a Wii, but the entire Wii Fit package as well. Anyone that does that is nothing more than a complete and total moron. - android8675, on 08/07/2008, -1/+0"Who would pay $110 an hour for Nintendo Workouts"
I'll take "Stupid People With Too Much Money" for $2000, Alex. - bitterbug, on 08/07/2008, -1/+0Dear Rich People.
I will chase you with a chainsaw for $75 an hour if you really want to get your heart pumping. Extra charges for gas and cleaning up blood spatter may apply. - bocce, on 08/07/2008, -1/+0I should probably get on my Wii Sports.
- Whitey07, on 08/07/2008, -1/+0I would rather go to a gym and sit about..
