- badassninja, on 02/12/2008, -1/+24YES! At last I can do ***** with my Nintendo Wii. I hope I can run a version of Linux that can read files across the network, has a music player, VLC, wi-fi, a browser and pidgin. Using the Wii Remote as my house and a USB keyboard. Oh and while I"m at it ROMS. Because I already bought Super Mario Brothers 1 in 1985, I'm not paying for it again.
- Nick22, on 02/12/2008, -0/+14Why would you feel guilty modifying something you bought for a couple hundred bucks so you could do more with it then you could otherwise?
- skubiszm, on 02/12/2008, -1/+12I am sure you only have ROMs for games that you have previously owned.
- MasterPlayer, on 02/12/2008, -2/+12Nintendo is making enough money from the casual audience which means the hardcore audience that wants to hack their Wii can do so guilt free. That is my justification anyways...
- MizuhoChan, on 02/12/2008, -0/+10This would be good if we can get rid of the ***** region lock and play imports. Real imports I mean, not pirated stuff.
- stereoa, on 02/12/2008, -0/+9You're rambling like a cokehead, dude...
- iofthestorm, on 02/12/2008, -0/+9Even more direct source: http://wiibrew.org/index.php?title=Twilight_Hack
- sykotik, on 02/12/2008, -0/+8House = Mouse?
- Protoss, on 02/12/2008, -0/+7Sweet. I'll be sure to try this out. Btw,
"This exploit does not work with every version of Zelda:TP. Easy way to check your version is to compare the text string which is on the inner cycle of the data surface with the ones below.
* RVL-RZDP-0A-0 JPN - working
* RVL-RZDE-0A-0 JPN - working
* RVL-RZDE-0A-2 USA - reportedly not working "
I checked mine and it matches the second number, so I'm good. - chrisbarr, on 02/12/2008, -0/+6no, he bought one of the larger wiimotes, they're expensive but it's worth it.
- Stravaganza, on 02/12/2008, -0/+6I doubt this could be the only way to launch unsigned code.
I mean-- look at all the ways people have discovered to hack the PSP nowadays.
Also, am I the only one to be filled by a warm fuzziness, when watching this video with that kind of music embedded? - jsaya, on 02/12/2008, -0/+5If he Wii goes the route of the PSP then WE'RE GOOD TO GO!
- itseffinkasey, on 02/12/2008, -0/+4Correct me if I'm wrong and I probably am because I don't know anything about hacking and what now. But couldn't Nintendo patch the console to read that save as a corrupted save instead of a Twilight Princess save?
- dunezone, on 02/12/2008, -0/+4Patch? Doesn't this use an exploit in Twilight Princess and not the console itself? Cause if the exploit is caused from code on Twilight Princess then the console then the only thing Nintendo can do is patch the game from loading saves.
- Portezbie, on 02/12/2008, -1/+5this video makes me all tingly in my private regions, but I have the feeling this hack will lead to nowhere, if anything ever comes of this nintendo is gonna crush it faster than you can say "Mario's racial stereotypes make me uncomfortable".
- nyrol2, on 02/12/2008, -0/+3Download pretty much any keygen, and you will have it. Oh that's just a generalization. They do have different music. Check them out at http://www.keygenmusic.net/
- XdigitalXdeathX, on 02/12/2008, -0/+3"It requires nothing more than an SD card and a copy of Twilight Princess -- no hardware modding needed. Check out the video above, which features not only a demonstration of the hack at work, but also some neat chiptunes from Thomas Detert."
- Portezbie, on 02/12/2008, -1/+3It would be great though to have a real wii homebrew scene though. I love my ds homebrew plus the wii needs it even more since the list of good games is so disparagingly short.
- SDNick484, on 02/12/2008, -1/+3I'm curious if this is something Nintendo will be able to patch through system updates, or if it's too late and the best they can do is just patch new versions of TP (probably not worth it considering how many vulnerable copies are in the wild).
- dualscreenman, on 02/13/2008, -0/+2This time something is actually released.
- Risk1600, on 02/12/2008, -1/+3Your sarcasm is idiotic and pointless. Stick to chat room's
- Stravaganza, on 02/12/2008, -0/+2Imagine an entertainment center controlled by the wiimote. Browsing through your music, movies and pictures via the network would provide an erect e-penis for many nerds, from what i understand.
Mine would be, atleast. - homesickalien, on 02/13/2008, -0/+1Tried this out yesterday. Worked perfectly. I had to go to the game store and re-purchase Twilight Princess though. The guy at the store looked at me funny when I asked if I could examine the version number on the discs. Something tells me those old Twilight Princess discs will become harder and harder to find.
- Risk1600, on 02/12/2008, -0/+1I agree with you. It would be a small nice looking and very quiet media center that could be left on at all times due to the low power needed to run. You could sit on your sofa and point a click music. That to me sounds amazing bring it on.
- tokyostory, on 02/12/2008, -0/+1I just have to know. Song during video anyone?
- buckeytucker, on 02/14/2008, -0/+1LOL i did the same thing and i think i got the same look.
- heysuburbia, on 02/12/2008, -1/+2Nintendo could easily patch it via an update. The team behind this vulnerability is strictly about homebrew dev though.
- monkeycatDx, on 02/12/2008, -0/+1You remind me of Conan O' Brian...but hey that a good thing...
- danzel, on 02/12/2008, -0/+1Nintendo could most likely patch the wii firmware to detect these specially altered save games.
Similar to what Sony did to the PSP exploits for GTA and Lumines. - dekadent30, on 12/06/2008, -0/+0gry planszowe, sklep rebel

karciane, bitewne, planszówki, puzzle - strangewill, on 02/12/2008, -2/+2I have more of a feeling it will just lead to another incomplete project that people will talk about for years but it will never turn into anything.
Interesting nonetheless, but I've seen enough of these to know what the pattern is most likely going to be. - badassninja, on 02/12/2008, -4/+3LOL, I use to. I also don't pay for 20 year old games. The public domain use to be set at 15 years for a darn good reason. It was the perfect system untell big media sent the government a few hookers for some blow jobs and some money.
- Ki77erB, on 02/12/2008, -1/+0Yeah, I doubt all those senior citizens playing tennis and bowling really care about running unsigned code via an ELF loader. "WTF R U TALKING ABOUT?"-your grandmother
- Cyber_Akuma, on 02/12/2008, -2/+1This was posted on Digg just about 2 or so weeks ago, there were multiple articles about it, I was hoping some new headway was made but apparently not, its just the same thing with that site being late to the party.
- nobelief, on 02/12/2008, -5/+2it's called a remote control. look it up
- moush, on 02/12/2008, -6/+1Why would you want to do this anyways? If you have a computer, it's unnecessary, well i guess if you want an e-penis.
