- vivisimonvi, on 09/10/2008, -4/+48do you still have to blow inside the thing to work?
- Elgindoo, on 09/10/2008, -2/+30Thanks for the mirror, I tried blowing into the site, but it didn't make it work :(
- bstew22, on 09/10/2008, -1/+19if you set the timer, does the game pop out?

http://www.engadget.com/2008/09/09/nintoaster-mod- ... - KowGawd, on 09/10/2008, -0/+6I think that Powdered Toast man would not approve of a toaster....Kinda defeats the purpose of his job...
Kind of like if we really replaced MrBabyMan with a robot. - dwightismyhero, on 09/10/2008, -4/+10this makes me wonder what would happen if you stuck a fork in an NES?
- theradical, on 09/10/2008, -1/+7toastendo?
- n0tquitehuman, on 09/10/2008, -0/+5Nintendo - Now you're playing with TOASTER power.
- sych0, on 09/10/2008, -0/+4it'd be funnier if it was an NES that cooked toast.
- badassninja, on 09/10/2008, -0/+4No, Because real men replace the pin connector so they never have to do that ever again.
- joltjake, on 09/10/2008, -0/+4That guy is the ***** man.
- Stormwern, on 09/10/2008, -0/+3The instructional video is very helpful.
- Frogee, on 09/10/2008, -7/+10Powdered Toast Man approves!
- inactive, on 09/10/2008, -1/+4Needs a Nine Inch Nails logo on the side of it, a la Quake's "Box O Nails".
- bigpun, on 09/10/2008, -1/+4Obligatory "but will it run crysis" comment.
Eurgh
edit: I'm actually very surprised this hasn't been said yet! - rdhazrd, on 09/10/2008, -1/+4***** that then!
- Gatesophile, on 09/10/2008, -0/+2Thank you, I am not the only one who thought of Nine Inch Nails.
- AparoidX, on 09/11/2008, -0/+2I dunno about you, but I didn't know the internal components of the NES when I was a kid. Or maybe you weren't a kid.
- azbmr, on 09/10/2008, -0/+2Just the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ig9-wX0aaFU

It's a refreshing attitude to have so much faith in the police, but as badassninja so eloquently put it, "people are just that ***** dumb." - Dgen_X, on 09/10/2008, -1/+3http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2007_Boston_bomb_scar ...
- Greengoo, on 09/10/2008, -0/+2You're kidding right? He took the toaster parts out, and put the nintendo parts in. The only thing that's still "toaster" is the case...
- badassninja, on 09/10/2008, -0/+2You should never deface a NES. That being said, seeing that he has the guts of a NES inside of a toaster that means he already has all of the parts he needs.
- Matsky, on 09/10/2008, -0/+2Man a good NES still fetches a decent price, and they're only getting rarer (at a rapid rate with all these "mods" popping up). I guess some people are going to be kicking themselves hard soon...
- zip000, on 09/10/2008, -0/+2When I went away to college...over a decade ago (wow)...my grandma threw out my NES....I'm still pissed about that!
- drnorris, on 09/10/2008, -7/+8But does it make toast?
- blink18jew, on 09/10/2008, -1/+2the most epic thing ive seen all week.
- compgeek, on 09/10/2008, -0/+1let's hope it doesn't burn the toast lol
- pe5t1lence, on 09/10/2008, -0/+1Awesome!

- Frozo, on 09/10/2008, -0/+1Right, just saw your post. Exactly what I was thinking when I posted my original comment.
- AparoidX, on 09/10/2008, -0/+1Wow, this is way over a year old. I guess news isn't really "news" until it hits a gaming blog.
- bmc152006, on 09/10/2008, -0/+1indeed
- luvearth, on 09/10/2008, -0/+1man this guy is so smart and funny! thanks for the entertainment!

http://hyipnews.freehostia.com/hyip - badassninja, on 09/10/2008, -0/+1That could be fun, beat the game before the game pops up?
- Falkon, on 09/11/2008, -0/+1The NES is a mono system, he could've used one of the audio colors to carry the video signal since the color doesn't determine what kind of signal the wire carries. (Unless it's not an RCA to RCA connection, like most of the console outputs nowadays, which are proprietary->RCA, but we know in this case that it's one to one.)
Amazing, regardless. - inactive, on 09/11/2008, -0/+1FAKE! he doesn't plug in the video cable...
- farfegnugen, on 09/10/2008, -0/+1I want to know if the game pops out when you push on the lever to eject the toast. That would be awesome.
- ctizz36, on 09/11/2008, -0/+0"You know what they say all Toasters Toast Toast"
Awesome Mod - KenOh, on 09/10/2008, -1/+1No.
- dwightismyhero, on 09/10/2008, -0/+0agreed. I vote that is his next project
