Super Mario Marathon For Child's Play - LIVE ON USTREAM :)
kotaku.com — Three gamers, seven games, fifty-five hours, all for the sake of the children. The trio is broadcasting their Super Mario Marathon live all weekend via UStreamTV, kicking off at 3PM Eastern and going until all the games are completed or they go crazy and turn on each other.

I found out today that I'm lucky enough not only to get Friday off this upcoming weekend but also Monday. I got married last Friday and despite what some a-holes may think, we don't get paid all that much. Because of that fact that I have a rare 4 day weekend of free time and extra money would seriously benefit myself and my new wife as we are preparing to move into our first home I am proposing the following. Not to discredit what these guys are doing (as I'm not cause it's a really good cause) but i will stay awake from 5pm Friday till 5pm (possibly a few hours longer) Monday playing video games. what makes my idea different is that I will let the people choose what games I will attempt to beat. I have access to pretty much every video game console and or game so this shouldn't be a problem. I have webspace available and I will pay for a new domain, but due to work I don't think I have enough time to create a site for this in time for a meaningful poll to take place. Also, while these guy's idea is great, I'm sorry but it's kinda boring to watch, MY friends would probably be a little more entertaining once I feed them a few shots of liquor lol which will definitely happen. So I'll leave it to the site I visit more than any other to let me know and help me get my new dream off the ground. I have ample proof of my situation and military affiliation upon request. Basically I need someone to create a site for me that will allow for a poll to take place of which games I will play and for which the Ustream window will live and for myself and friends to interact with the users during my ridiculous challenge. I will leave my email and AIM SN here to get a hold of me. I don't know of any other way to reach a major amount of people other than this site so If I don't hear from anyone from this post, I guess It wasn't meant to be.
