- jjustice, on 01/10/2008, -0/+30Dugg, but I wish it was photos instead of video so I could look at it at work more easily... Cool though.
- rib13, on 01/10/2008, -2/+29That really didn't need to be a video
- greatshock, on 01/10/2008, -0/+13I really appreciated the "double sided" Mario
Very good result - GodsTwin, on 01/10/2008, -0/+9Probably with jario or shacking it up with jowser
- natdowner, on 01/10/2008, -1/+8yoshi?
- inactive, on 01/10/2008, -5/+12Sweet.
- MonsterChaOS, on 01/10/2008, -3/+10Eh, wake me up when he has something besides Mario to show.
- lovelyNcrazy, on 01/10/2008, -0/+5Agreed. BTW as you can read in the comments it's part of a bigger, future, stop motion video.
- arghargh, on 01/10/2008, -0/+5I think the author just wanted to make cash on metacafe.
- Pauli92, on 01/10/2008, -0/+5Lego was the best childhood toy ever end of story
- 5urr3al5am, on 01/10/2008, -1/+5video? I thought it was going to animated into a series of Mario -lego sequences... but very good anyway.
- inactive, on 01/10/2008, -0/+4you have "already done this" not "I have already did this."
idiot. - davidjunit, on 01/10/2008, -0/+3I figure a good and easy to create video game characters out of Legos would be to open the game in an emulator (WITHOUT ***** filtering effects enabled), take a screenshot, zoom in a few times and you'll have the pixels laid out in a manner that you can easily use as a guide to work with Legos.
- MariTorchi, on 01/10/2008, -1/+4In the page of the video, the author said that the sprite of yoshi and the mushroom are coming. He's planning to reproduce almost all the elements of Super Mario World for SNES.
- JasonBartholme, on 01/10/2008, -1/+4Digg for Lego awesomeness.
- Carv, on 01/10/2008, -0/+3Probably the 325 people who dugg it.
- smurfz, on 01/10/2008, -3/+6Ha! That's great!
- stateofmind, on 01/10/2008, -0/+3What he has done is great, don't get me wrong. But since it was a video, I was expecting see some of the Super Mario World as well. At the end of it, I was thinking "did I miss something?". Like another poster mentioned, it would of been better as a hi-res image, to look at the details.
- jonshipman, on 01/10/2008, -1/+3it's blocks...
- lovelyNcrazy, on 01/10/2008, -0/+2just get the sprite. Google Images ;)
- overseerbrian, on 01/10/2008, -0/+2Was a video really necessary for this?
- LifeSaverS, on 01/10/2008, -0/+2dugg for "digg"
- matriculated, on 01/10/2008, -1/+3I wish he didn't use the diagonal pieces to smooth it out but the backside is the icing on the cake.
- Neuski, on 01/10/2008, -0/+1Thats it?

Idiocy overules my nintendo fangirl tendencies. - bjs3171, on 01/10/2008, -1/+1i have a friend who's already built the main Mario 1 characters out of legos, and wants to build some levels at Lego World, and i guess some more characters
- abrasion, on 01/14/2008, -0/+0Sweet, only a few people stupid enough to type in 'legos'
- richarddavey, on 07/21/2008, -0/+0Yup, seems like it. About 5 seconds into the video my browser gets forwarded to a MacSweeper advert. My Firefox popup blocker doesn't seem to do anything, which is kinda annoying as I can't watch the video!
- zheisey, on 01/10/2008, -3/+1Bogus...
- frohman, on 01/10/2008, -2/+0Don`t know about anyone else, but symantec told me there was a virus on the page of this link when I opened it. Just saying.
- jsams81, on 06/26/2009, -3/+1lame
- daridave, on 01/10/2008, -3/+1Boring. I remember doing this back when I was a kid, and just to make it cooler after I was done, I decided to turn make it 3D, aka layer briks of legos so that I could do a 360 around and it wasn't flat. Took me a few hours, but it wasn't hard. This is... lame. no digg.
- pigsbladder, on 01/10/2008, -4/+1how about some instructions on how to?
- Amusing, on 01/10/2008, -4/+1This isn't anything difficult, and it isn't really pixel art either.
- lookouts, on 01/10/2008, -4/+0Wow, who gives a damn.
- nubnub, on 01/10/2008, -6/+1I've already did this...
- Smilier, on 01/10/2008, -10/+4where is joshi?
- bfcnet, on 01/10/2008, -10/+2uh... Pixel Blocks are way better. I have the same Mario made out of pixel blocks on my desk.
That thing that guy made is ugly.
