- Smwbigboss, on 01/15/2008, -2/+50I just hope they learn how to implement motion controls this time.
- doshindude, on 01/15/2008, -3/+35All right, let's get going on Rogue Squadron 4.
- Responder656, on 01/15/2008, -3/+29Good news for them, they need to get all that money back that they lost on Lair's production values.
- RyanBlack, on 01/15/2008, -2/+18It's a trap!
- CurlyHayami, on 01/15/2008, -3/+15Aw man-these guys need to handle a Star Wars game like crazy. With the use of the Wiimote I can only imagine.
- motang, on 01/15/2008, -3/+11Sweet, I wonder what project(s) they will be working on for the Wii.
- Snuffleupagus1, on 01/15/2008, -2/+10I want to see a battle of Endor done right, Online with lots of players in fighters and and people manning turrets in the capital ships. It should be Capital ships criss crossing everywhere with lazor fire in every direction.
- Thorlord, on 01/15/2008, -1/+9i just wish they would have been upfront about it and just showed a brick with wings on the cover...
- Dumbledorito, on 01/15/2008, -3/+11Something with an X-Wiing in it.
- samfishercell, on 01/15/2008, -2/+9Although these guys rocked at Star Wars games, lets not forget they also had some of the best looking games on the Cube during the last gen. I'd love to see them work on something that didn't involve Star Wars or flying just to see what they could churn out (although Lair didn't give me much hope in respect to deviation).
- Asberry, on 01/15/2008, -2/+8We need another Rogue Squadron! But lets please go back to focusing on flying (the speeders were cool too though). Those on-foot missions in Rebel Strike were terrible.
- XBSHX, on 01/15/2008, -3/+8Meh, the ps3 controller isn't really great at sensing motion so I'm sure it wasn't 100% their fault.
- grumbel, on 01/15/2008, -0/+5Lets hope they finally get around to finish Thornado, been waiting for that since forever.
- ImpoliteAndEvil, on 04/06/2009, -0/+3Turrican? That was Factor 5? I didn't know that. Hmm. Anyways, it was okay. Hell, I'm surprised you even REMEMBER that game. But I guess it had a pretty big impact on you if your digg user name is 'turrican'. =)
- oDGuardian, on 01/15/2008, -0/+2Hopefully it will be better than Rebel Strike.
- bryxal, on 01/15/2008, -1/+3I see what you did there.....
- spawnfree, on 01/16/2008, -0/+2i don't care as long as it is not yet another exercise in slowly working out exactly what the designers want me to do in each level while dieing constantly and getting very angry.
- mondoman89, on 01/15/2008, -0/+2/agree
all you could do was run in circles and shoot like crazy hoping you hit something - azizrulez, on 01/15/2008, -0/+2i hope this time, the motion controls do actually what their supposed to,not go the way or rather do absolutely nothing, also i hope they dont go overboard with the graphics
- XBSHX, on 01/20/2008, -0/+1The only game that got bad reviews was Lair, all of their other games were pretty damn awesome.
- Ndiggnation, on 01/15/2008, -0/+1Overboard with the graphics? What, does development on the Wii preclude decent looking graphics for some reason?
- XBSHX, on 01/15/2008, -1/+2Best Wii news in a looooong time!
- gamemaker, on 01/15/2008, -0/+1Factor 5 is highly over-rated. The Rogue Squadron games we're just barely playable (as long as you don't count the last one with out-of-ship running around gameplay which was just gawd-awful).
What we need is a GOOD Star Wars space game like the old X-Wing or Tie-Fighter. A modern console version of those would rock. - turrican, on 01/15/2008, -1/+2I know it won't happen.. but I can only wish for Turrican..
- pjsk8, on 01/15/2008, -0/+1No, stupid, the Wiimote IS the syringe.
- MurphyWatson, on 01/15/2008, -2/+3I hope its Starfox. A Starfox game by Factor 5 would rock.
- samfishercell, on 01/15/2008, -0/+1Dugg for Thornado. hahaha, what a gaming reference to pull out.
- D3koy, on 01/15/2008, -1/+1These guys have the potential to make some killer games...If I recall correctly, half of my (rather small) GC titles were these guys...
- WhoDoneIt, on 01/15/2008, -2/+2I know it's probably not Pilot Wings but just seeing that mentioned is enough to get me excited. I could so go for a Pilot Wings game on the Wii.
- KAMiKAZOW, on 01/15/2008, -1/+1Really? The reviews of their last few games weren't that great.
- questionable, on 01/15/2008, -1/+1I'm ready for the next version of the Battle of Hoth.
- hbcumber, on 01/15/2008, -1/+1Didn't you like Rogue Squadron 2 on GC? I though that was pretty good.
- oDGuardian, on 01/15/2008, -1/+1That is one thing Factor 5 has seemed to forget about. They could've easily created a Rouge Squadron style game using Episodes I, II, III. I just hope that if this is Star Wars related...it wont be as limiting as the GameCube version of Rouge Squadron.
- ImpoliteAndEvil, on 04/06/2009, -3/+3That's great news... if the year is 1998. Factor 5 doesn't make good games. Rogue Squadron was the last good game they made and that was WAAAY back on the N64. At least they won't make a mini-game collection like 75% of the Wii games out there.
- Dan11023, on 01/15/2008, -4/+3lets hope they recover from LAIR
- oDGuardian, on 01/15/2008, -2/+1There wasnt a Rouge Squadron made for XBL. You must be thinking of something else. Maybe if game companies would quit slacking off...XBL could have some of the greatest Star Wars games...like I said if they actually worked on it.
- iofthestorm, on 01/15/2008, -3/+1OMG! Rogue Squadron for VC! Is it already there? That game was sweet. I'm pretty sure I beat it on PC many years later though, but it would still be awesome to have.
- Snuffleupagus1, on 01/15/2008, -3/+1It's a well thought out tactical ambush, carried out with typical Imperial precision!....... It's a trap
- Uzza, on 01/15/2008, -2/+0There were some rumors floating around a few months ago that Factor 5 was in talks with Nintendo to create the next Star Fox game, which would show that amazing graphics on the Wii is possible.
With this confirmation it really puts a lot of weight on those rumors in my book. - dinostabOMG, on 01/15/2008, -4/+2Dugg way up. I'm hoping for a Star Fox game like this actually, but a Rogue Squadron one would be cool too.
And for the record, Rogue Squadron was originally on the N64. - hasahugedig, on 01/15/2008, -2/+0I just want to see them push the limits with the hardware. These are the guys that pushed more polys/effects on a gamecube game than the xbox ever had.
- RyanBlack, on 01/15/2008, -8/+6Wii with good online? Does not compute.
- Lexus30, on 01/15/2008, -5/+2A-Wing FTW!!!
- inactive, on 01/15/2008, -9/+6Lair controlled well. You're controlling a slow lumbering dragon not a fighter jet
- Snuffleupagus1, on 01/15/2008, -6/+2: (
- inactive, on 01/15/2008, -6/+1Rogue Squadron mini games FTW!!! I cant wait, this is much better than Rogue Squadron on xbox live.
- Epacitythug, on 01/15/2008, -7/+2I wonder if its going to be pilot wings or another Rogue Squadron
- FatLoser, on 01/15/2008, -6/+0More Heroin Addict with attachable Wiimote syringe please!!!
- Fatcheeseguy, on 01/15/2008, -9/+2MORE LIGHTSABERS PLEASE.
- FatLoser, on 01/15/2008, -8/+1Do a barrel roll!!! Now, instead of tapping buttons, just recreate the reacharound wanking motion.
