- olafcore, on 05/13/2008, -0/+42Let's just hope it includes EarthBound next week to make up for it. ;)
- Gir53457, on 05/13/2008, -0/+32It is OK to pay for video games you know.
- Archaic1, on 05/13/2008, -0/+27I'm torn between digging you up for being right, or burying you between taking the pun about 50 steps too far
- travis6690, on 05/13/2008, -4/+30Ahaha, you thought you had me, but I saw through your scheme at the last second! Dugg because it's a free country, and I'll do what I want!
- Okari, on 05/13/2008, -0/+24You can't be picky when you're desperate.
- Twenty, on 05/13/2008, -1/+24In my pants.
(Couldn't drive to your mom's fast enough.) - Okari, on 05/13/2008, -2/+25Don't have sex with me.
- spwpi10, on 05/13/2008, -0/+26Anyone download and play the Final Fantasy game yet? I want to read a review and see how it is, and what DLC is worth it, if any.
- rdoger6424, on 05/13/2008, -0/+20be wiisonable!
- sup4141, on 05/13/2008, -31/+56Bury Me
- DinosWillDie13, on 05/13/2008, -0/+19This could be potentially awesome. If they do it right.
Will people be able to recommend these games on that new nintendo channel on the wii? Cause I know I won't be spending much money on a virtual console game until I know it is worth it. - acevoncash, on 05/13/2008, -1/+19gimme a hard drive nintendo, im almsot full up!
- bagboyrebel, on 05/13/2008, -0/+12No you fool! He's using reverse psychology!
- gfindlay, on 05/13/2008, -0/+16I'd like to see some reviews of all of them. I had never seen anything about that WIND game before, but it looks kind of cool.
- 8BitGaming, on 05/13/2008, -2/+10IT'S A TRAP!
- Jakotsutou, on 05/13/2008, -0/+8With Dr. Mario and Animal Panic. Still pisses me off Nintendo lied.
- Jakotsutou, on 05/13/2008, -0/+8It's Kirby's Canvas Curse, but more awesome. It's definitely worth the $10. Be warned though, it's an episodic series.
- boxybrzown, on 05/13/2008, -0/+7It already has been hacked. You could download and play the japanese wiiware games last week.
- Schmapdi, on 05/13/2008, -2/+10I think the FF kingdom building game looks kinda neat myself, and tower defense clones are always entertaining, but if it follows VC pricing - they'll be just too damn expensive for what are basically trumped up Java games (even if they are fun or interesting ones).
And Nintendo is being surprisingly stingy with Wii points - I should be getting like 50 free points every time I register a game, 10 points for filling out a survey, etc etc. - VGLegends, on 05/13/2008, -0/+8Lost Winds is amazing. There is no need for a VC update today.
- inactive, on 05/13/2008, -0/+9Where's World of Goo?
- TheGreger, on 05/13/2008, -0/+7I really like Lost Winds. I recommend it.
- Gregsaw, on 05/13/2008, -0/+9people don't want a hard drive, just like people don't want to play online. that's what nintendo told me at least, and they must know what the people want, right?
- wickensworth, on 05/13/2008, -3/+9Dugg for excessive use of caps
- o0joshua0o, on 05/13/2008, -0/+6If they chose to do so, Nintendo could easily rectify the storage space problem. All they have to do is release an update that allows you to plug an external hard drive into the USB port on the Wii.
- Me0wmix, on 05/13/2008, -0/+6Impressions on all of the release games for wii ware http://blog.wired.com/games/2008/05/wireds-wiiware ...
- dansmeek, on 05/13/2008, -0/+6okay.... nintendo needs to allow us to play games from SD cards. i'm not going to pirate games and they already have that feature that ensures the game can only be played from the console it was purchased from. i grossly over-payed for games like super mario brothers 1 and 3 (given the lack of new features, and the poorly emulated version of mario 3... they should offer these in bundles for $5), and the $10 price for ALL N64 games is disgusting...
this wiiware is done right, and i really like the wind game. but it's a constant juggling act to have to delete certain game just to make room for another.... AND i jsut got a wii. AND there's not even many games available yet.
allowing 2 gigs of space to be used would be sufficient for now. < 500 megs is ridiculous.
also, can someone explain to me why it takes so long to copy a game from the nintento storage to an SD card? it litterally is faster to just redownload a bigger game. On my PS3 copying things from the SD slot is instantaenous. And I imagine it's the same way for those who choose to use the zelda exploit.
People get on Sony's ass for not yet having an XMB. Nintendo needs to start making things better for those who choose to use the Wii as a gaming system and not just a Wii Sports System. - KingGoonie, on 05/13/2008, -0/+6Also last I checked wiiware games are originals.... so you are stealing original properties. Way to block progress.
- KingGoonie, on 05/13/2008, -1/+6Matt Cassamasena (however you spell it) over at IGN.com has been talking about Lost Winds for a while now on the nintendo podcasts... He must have mentioned it in at least 3 or 4 podcasts going back to before the Japanese release of it even... he loves the game. The others do too.
- WhereAmI, on 05/13/2008, -0/+5Not imitating Fight Club?
- AmazingAndrex, on 05/13/2008, -0/+5http://www.1up.com/do/reviewPage?cId=3167773&p=44
- Gir53457, on 05/13/2008, -0/+5Go ahead and pirate them if you wish, but you are never entitled to illegally downloaded software. Also if you really did buy them ten-fifteen years ago then why bother pirating them anyways since you already own legit copies?
- mywhitenoise, on 05/13/2008, -3/+9you like having sex with men?
- kravex, on 05/13/2008, -0/+4Just get the Nintendo channel and open it up to them to let them see that your running out of memory.
- mliving, on 05/13/2008, -0/+4I have downloaded LostWinds and Pop and both are really fun and different games.
LostWinds "wind" mechanic is very cool and the art direction and worlds are absolutely beautiful. highly recommend use for $10.
Pop is a HIGHLY ADDICTIVE bubble popping game well worth the measly $7 they're charging. It has fast and I mean fast paced action and up to four player support including WiFi connectivity.
To anyone who continues to claim that third party and now Indy games suck on the Wii... look no further then your WiiWare console. You WILL NOT be disappointed!
I have absolutely no problem spending $7-$10 supporting Indy and small developers if they're going to pump out original and fresh games like the first batch of WiiWare games. Sure beats playing those shined up retro games that seem to be filling Xbox Arcade to overflowing. - johnhummel, on 05/13/2008, -0/+5I do agree with that one - I had to delete a N64 game to make room for other stuff, and I dread trying to fit on Final Fantasy Chrystal Chroncles God Damned Too Long of a Name and trying to figure out if I have room.
- Ravatar, on 05/13/2008, -0/+4we also want more mario.
- Fraff5, on 05/13/2008, -1/+4Are you kidding me? VII is amazing. Sure, not as good as VI, but still great.
- Gir53457, on 05/13/2008, -1/+5You could get a standard SD card.
- hockeysmurf, on 05/13/2008, -0/+4World of Goo! World of Goo!
- thepotatoman, on 05/13/2008, -1/+4I hate him too. He complains about his job in multiple podcasts, constantly flouts the fact that he knows about games you aren't allowed to know about yet, brags about playing high profile games that haven't come out yet, Halo DS, "It's Fact that Zelda is better then Okami", and he hasn't really done anything exceptionally good to counter act those negatives.

- Gir53457, on 05/13/2008, -3/+6I'm waiting for the Pokemon Ranch so I can upload my army of Bidoofs.
- crossmr, on 05/13/2008, -0/+3I played it for 3 hours. had a lot of trouble stopping
its great. - Matt174e, on 05/13/2008, -1/+3Personally, i'm the type of person who doens't want to play DVD movies on my Wii. As nintendo says, eveyone already has a DVD player... so why put one in a gaming console?
With that said, my DVD player is an Xbox 360. - jonisjalopy, on 05/13/2008, -0/+3Defend Your Castle is too entertaining for words. I can't wait for the other titles to launch. Though, I could have sworn the Strongbad game as well as World of Goo was supposed to be out at launch. Did I miss something?
- knetworx, on 05/13/2008, -0/+2As much as I hate to say it, apparently they *do* know what the people want, considering they've sold far more consoles than Sony and Microsoft. Sony and Microsoft know what gamers want, Nintendo knows what "the people" want. (Note: "the people" includes nursing homes.) I'm not knocking any of the consoles, I have both a 360 and a Wii, and they're both great in their own ways (for instance, my wife will play Wii games with me, not so much on the 360), but no matter what you say about Nintendo, they have good business sense at the very least.
- ParaSwarm, on 05/14/2008, -0/+2I love people who try to act original and non-conformist by proudly declaring they didn't like FFVII every chance they get. You are a rebel without a cause, no doubt about it.
