Nintendo announces GTA: Chinatown Wars for the DS

joystiq.com — During Nintendo's keynote address, the company carjacked the audience's attention, announcing that Grand Theft Auto is coming to the Wii. Titled GTA: Chinatown Wars, little is known about the game, save for that it will feature a new game engine, characters, and the series' standard sandbox-style gameplay.

    I thought it was for the DS though, not the Wii.
  • jacobdis, on 07/16/2008, -0/+3Nice, I didn't expect this one. I hope Rockstar implements a top-down view in this version, a 3D GTA on the DS just sounds like a ridiculous way to milk a franchise for all its worth. It'll be interesting to see what they come up with.

    Anything else is either blogspam or just lame, god forbid gamesaretehawesome.blogspot.com break the GTA: CHina Town Wars game lest it be labeled blogspam. 'Thisis teh blogspam!' they'll say, 'I want teh source!1!1!' omg, teh big gaming sitzor! must digg cos big games site is big! loloololololoolol.

I guess they've changed it on their site now but yeah, my bad. Didn't check. One of those screw ups that happen when one tries to be first at submitting something.
