- Peach3s, on 07/16/2009, -2/+16a stop motion lego movie? OMG OMG!! MUST DIGG
- superflydugg, on 07/16/2009, -1/+14this is terrible.
- CB810, on 07/15/2009, -3/+13I am still baffled by the amazing interest in legos... I am not uninterested, but it seems so banal. Maybe I'm just old...
- mostie, on 07/15/2009, -0/+8Really? I always thought that my increasing oldness was one of the reasons why I love all of this lego stuff so much.
- Jimbeeer, on 07/16/2009, -3/+10Utter crap.
The animation's about 5 frames per second. The hammer doesn't last long enough, Donkey Kong should turn side to side to throw the barrels rather than flapping his left arm around, there's no hammer on the second floor like there should be and if it was supposed to be authentic, where's the 'How high can you get' bit at the beginning.
Normally these kind of animations are ok but this is absolutely rotten. Hell, the camera couldn't even stay still throughout the whole thing. Was this a school project or something?
Nice little effort but ultimately; EPIC FAIL. - insanewriters, on 07/16/2009, -0/+4Guys! Kill screen! Kill screen!
- IvanB, on 07/15/2009, -0/+4I don't know, same with dominoes, greats a nice visual when done correctly.
- WafflesID, on 07/16/2009, -0/+4It's like art with an etch-a-sketch. There is a certain challenge to produce real artwork despite the limitations of the medium.
Anyone can DRAW a donkey kong animation, but it takes a lot more effort and therefore is more impressive/satisfying to do it with a medium that was never intended for that purpose. - skiindude22, on 07/16/2009, -1/+4whoa, an animation that has video?
- U2groupie, on 07/16/2009, -0/+3I thought it was truth universal that geeks love lego?
- wild, on 07/16/2009, -0/+3Dude needs a tripod...

- ViscidGobs, on 07/16/2009, -0/+1I swear that article said "Animated Leg".
- dsherman73, on 07/16/2009, -1/+2I love it. us old fogies know Donkey Kong well. I spent many a quarter in the Pac-Man and Donkey Kong machine... good times good times. and all in LEGO too.. SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET.....
- pimuni, on 07/16/2009, -1/+2is it just me, or is the princess a man?
- RobotKeaton, on 07/16/2009, -0/+1WafflesID: It would be MUCH more difficult to draw a Donkey Kong animation than it would be to make that Lego animation.
- smoger, on 07/16/2009, -0/+1how is it posible to "not remember" donkey kong? something as popular as donkey never goes away but rather becomes a part of culture for all time.
i mean,.. i wasnt born in the time of the 3 stooges or the honeymooners, but i see them all the time - duncan202, on 07/16/2009, -1/+2Regretfully dugg. I'm sure someone put some effort into this... but not digg quality.
- huntermcwhite, on 07/16/2009, -0/+1"I’m not old enough to remember the original."
wat - Foda, on 07/16/2009, -0/+1It was amusing to watch and it could have been worse.
- dafragsta, on 07/16/2009, -1/+1I think that game board was tampered with.
- metalman1661, on 07/16/2009, -0/+0Fail for not having the first blue barrel DK throws...
- solid12345, on 07/16/2009, -1/+1I'm more curious what wives or girlfriends let their grown adult men play with legos.
- drakowned, on 07/16/2009, -0/+0reading what the post about was longer than the video its self... not cool..
- shuffer, on 07/16/2009, -1/+0I'm the same with both Lego AND Donkey Kong.
