Second, being the fastest guitarist is absolutely meaningless and results in some truly awful "music" and completely misses the point. This is everything that is wrong with guitar, it's a giant push-up contest rather than about who writes the best songs, plays with the most emotion, or has the best sense of improvisation. Do you really think pianists sit around whining about who playes scales the fastest?
