- Macintosh, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9Just because YOU'VE heard about it doesn't mean others have. Quit being selfish.
Digg for GTA soundtrack. :) - TheGalacticFork, on 10/12/2007, -5/+11You guys just got fleeced. The mass downloading works by getting referrals to the site, hence the ?r=4743
If you wouldn't mind, could you help me out too? http://gh.ffshrine.org?r=2760 or directly to the soundtracks http://gh.ffshrine.org/soundtracks.php?r=2760
Now I feel dirty. - HiddenLYNX, on 10/12/2007, -3/+8For anyone who's looking, it doesnt have Final Fantasy music, because those are still under copyright by Nobuo, and the FF soundtracks continue to be sold, it would be STEALING if you didnt buy it :D
i digg it - doublebackslash, on 10/12/2007, -3/+8This is so going to get dugg into the ground. Great site, though. Digg
- Trjn, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5Yet Kingdom Hearts is there, and Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, and another Kingdom Hearts one as well.
@zaren, that's why I download midis for my ringtones, it's completely free if you give all your personal details to marketing companies, or completely illegal if you download from a place like vgmusic.com and you get files like this one: http://www.vgmusic.com/music/console/sony/ps1/FF7VICT.MID
Tis a shame that to truly display our nerdiness, we have to break copyright laws. Still, I'm proud to let the world know that I use the Super Mario World overworld song as my ringtone. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4note the referrer link by the OP
- jcryer, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3They received a cease and desist from Square.
- astrotrain, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Nice... but not old school stuff.....
C64 Remixes.....
http://remix.kwed.org/ - StuartGibson, on 06/14/2009, -0/+3Meh - you can do a batch download without the referral scheme. Copy the list from the main page of the album you want, paste into text file, convert spaces to underscores, prepend the directory for the tracks and wget -i the resulting file. Currently working it's way through all ~240 Animal Crossing tracks for me :)
Goblin - skydivingdutch, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3This site has Waaaaay more:
http://www.mirsoft.info/gmb/games_list.php - jonshipman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2where is the Zelda sheet music? Only sheet music I see are the FF's and CT's
- jcryer, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4You've got to click on the "MP3s," then "K," the soundtrack is there, I've just downloaded it.

hard rock with SID... - moogleman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Yeah, and I noticed that this site directly took the PSF archives from Zophar's Domain. Still got a nice collection, though.
- kruzin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Ha ha, I love this! Dugg all the way!
- FallenSeraph, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3www.zophar.net has a nice collection of older game music archives, especially for PSX and SNES.
This site seems to have a nice list going for it... - ByteGuerilla, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1whoops! there it goes
- habenneas, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2All your Digg are belong to us.

- nuclearpenguins, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1They only have one offering from the Wing Commander series, arguably from one of it's worst games. Origin had some of the best in-game music in it's games back in the day, starting back in 1990 with the original Wing Commander (the first big-budget PC game ever) and continuing on until EA bought them out.
I was hoping that there would be some of the kick ass tunes from the earlier games. - awfulshot, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4not dead at 18 diggs. its got sheet music too!
- habenneas, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Someone needs to have a ShoutCast station set up with this stuff.
- zaren, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Very true. I just bought the FF VII soundtrack from ITMS last week for $25. Now I need to upgrade my cell phone so I can use "Victory!" for my ringtone :)
- toekneebullard, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Lemmings? Is there lemmings?
- iKato, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2I used this site a long time ago and forgot about it. Great site. Thanks for bringing it back to my attention, jcryer.
- snugsoho, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Still working here... they have a couple of Studio Ghibli sound tracks too!
Bit of an awkard downloading system though... - Ozymandias42, on 10/12/2007, -7/+8Should we be digging links onto the front page that are almost certainly blatant copyright infringements? They've got a legal info page, but it basically just states that nobody has sued them yet and therefore there's no need to worry about copyright. Perhaps we should be reticent to digg sites which blatantly ignore copyright? I'm as open source and yay freedom as the next geek, but it could put Digg in an uncomfortable position of either overriding our diggs or potentially getting nasty letters from somebody.
- ExplosiveNixon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1No GUN soundtrack :(
- 067077, on 10/04/2008, -0/+1The site no longer exists... sad
- madmathmatician, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1dangit, i knew about this site for quite awhile now. i was trying to keep it a secret by not posting in digg...i hope this site dosent get too popular for fear of it "disapearing" like others before it!
- SelfAppointedMe, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3The straight up soundtrack stuff is good but I prefer a good cover band myself so I suggest you look up the NESkimos, best sounding video game cover band ever and they have pretty much all their songs free to download.
http://www.neskimos.com/
.......press the Y button - Durinthal, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1..bah. Well, this site will be down before too much longer (I'm sure at least one person working for one of the many developer companies covered will see this and report it, which means lawyers soon after). It was nice while it lasted, and I did get most of what I wanted long before it was on here anyway.
- Akuma66, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Just got the new Guyver opening song. Deff Digg :)
- lil_isie, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Props for Bust-A-Move. Heat all the way Baby.
- GabeDiaz, on 11/27/2008, -0/+1sweet site, i really hope it doesn't dugg down till after i get on my home comp
- TheGalacticFork, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Yeah, that's why you can join up, get referrals to the site like this guy who submitted the story is doing.

It was a great game though. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Check out this site, they offer full soundtracks and fast download rates. The only downside is that it only has music from RPG games. Have fun ;)
http://www.bluelaguna.net/pages/selectmp3.php - insomniacdude, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I found this site about a year or two years ago, and downloaded a handful of stuff. I lost the site after that, and have since then been looking for it. THANK YOU so much for this digg.

Well said. They're easily the best around, although the minibosses rock out too.
"If we ever get this 30-lives code right, we'll have to write a song about it or something..." - Lutz, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2niles: You know you're speaking about compositions made by old musical geniuses, right? ;)
- Datrio, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Oh ho, ho, ho. There are Final Fantasy soundtracks there, but you have to keep quiet about it, or else they'll delete them. I already have them, so I don't care ;).
You just have to know how is the URL structure working. The URLs look like this:
http://gh.ffshrine.org/soundtracks/3258 (Last Exile OST)
3258 is the soundtrack number. Neeto, eh?
Now let's play around with this... Ever wondered what was the ever first soundtrack on Galbadia Hotel? Just input the following URL:
http://gh.ffshrine.org/soundtracks/1
Look, look, it's Final Fantasy III - Eternal Legend Of The Wind! Now let's input the ID number 2. What will we get? FFIII OSV! Number 3? FFIV Celtic Moon!
And the list goes on, and on...
They have all the soundtracks released prior to 2005, when they got the C&D letter from Square Enix. That means they don't have Dirge of Cerberus, More Friends concert from the US, etc., but they DO have Mahoroba! It's just hard to find it, with all the soundtracks they have there...
Hope I helped someone. -
