- DownloadThis, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Radiohead fans should check out their Sept.11, 2001 gig if you haven't already. They were spot on the whole night, and even after they announced what had happened in NYC (about halfway through the show), they continued to play an amazing show.
(This particular show is the 1st link in the Radiohead section). - keybsnbits, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0Anybody want to comment on the legality of bootlegs?
- joel_wylde, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1kool they dj tiesto bootleg's

How does half of this crap make it to the front page?
Illegal things are soooooo cool dude ... /sarcasm. - Massif, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Meh, I'd rather spend a few bucks and buy a concert DVD.
I'm assuming these are audio only too. - BenStockwell, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Most of the links are dead.
- DownloadThis, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1You can read some on the legality of trading bootleg's here:
http://etree.org/legal.html
I'm a big Radiohead collector. I have over 50 lossless shows, and about a dozen DVDs in my collection.
The recording of shows itself is highly technical when you consider the type of equiptment used to get a clear recording in a venue as large as Madison Square Garden. Some tapers spend more than $1,000 on DAT records and microphones. - davidd, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2not all bootlegs are illegal, a lot of bands allow it...
- savmac, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0No TOOL? WTF?
- sandpaperback, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Legality of bootlegs is iffy at best. Many artists now support (actively or not) trading of live recordings. See archive.org's music section for a ton of bands who have agreed to let them redistribute live recordings. Even Pearl Jam, who has released every show from their recent tours on CD still supports fans trading recordings.
I'm a huge fan of live music. Can't wait to get home and check out some of these. - 68kMac, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1There are also quite a few (legal!) bootlegs in archive.org's Live Music Archive: http://www.archive.org/audio/
- timmyrulz27, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0most of the links are dead that sucks
- Killer_k, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0I like this post very much but most link are dead but there some good links on here too just look hard and you find some good stuff thanks man

- test5477, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0tradersden is one that i use and its works well,
also try further.net its a p2p program that only has legal bootlegs, some really hard ones to find. Good site and program - test5477, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0actually www.furthurnet.org is a good one
- Tweekster, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0does the legality really matter?
it is a bootleg, i dont personally see a problem downloading music they played LIVE. (real cds on the other hand are a different matter) - digitalboots, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Check out www.digitalboots.net - lossless live links. All lossless, audio and video. Bittorrent, direct downloads, DC hubs, etc. Updated daily.
