The thing to notice is that both sites seem to be owned by the same publication/organization/person? Similar design, same platform, similar structure, clearly diggbait.

Even ajax slideshows are stupid because they slower than just scrolling down a page, yes I would like 50 images on the same page, its much better. The only reason they do a ***** slide show is to get more CPM.
