- AndrewDB, on 07/04/2008, -1/+15I love his Radiohead / Chopin mashup: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0X-PRpqj7N4 , but this is also freaking amazing.
- paulmer2003, on 07/04/2008, -4/+16Dugg for Aphex Twin.
- Ourcellardoor, on 07/04/2008, -1/+13Anybody who's down with AFX is cool in my book. Props to Jack Conte.

- dleesgeetar, on 07/03/2008, -3/+10nice, looks like his myspace has a free mp3 of it
- maaneschijn, on 07/04/2008, -1/+8I follow Aphex Twin over 12 years and he keeps amazing me. In his early days he was a big influence in the ambient music scene and already made awesome music.
- maduin, on 07/04/2008, -2/+9Conor is ***** brilliant.
- XenoSNK, on 07/04/2008, -0/+7He could've picked a better Bright Eyes song. He even acknowledges Lifted to be incredible.
- Shadic, on 07/04/2008, -2/+9His voice really reminds me of Conor Oberst's. The song is really awesome.
- ByronT, on 07/04/2008, -1/+7I like the original First Day of My Life better
- inactive, on 07/03/2008, -2/+8dugg up!!!! good~~~~~~~
- thekassette, on 07/04/2008, -0/+6All y'all Aphex Twins fans who that that that was cool (and it was) might be interested in this album:
http://www.emusic.com/album/Acoustica-Acoustica-MP ... (sorry, couldn't find any good full-length clips)
A 20-piece modern classical ensemble that usually performs works by dudes like Steve Reich and John Cage doing their own arrangements of Aphex Twin stuff. This ain't no 'London Strings Performs Radiohead' swill, this is the real deal. - mitch37, on 07/04/2008, -0/+5Anything Aphex Twin has got my digg.
- Modulo, on 07/04/2008, -1/+6I think that the suggestions are based on the assumption that you are on a page discussing the artist in question by choice rather than due to the vicissitudes of random keyboard mashing.

Another awesome cover of Flim by The Bad Plus - pixelate, on 07/04/2008, -1/+5Yeah, I agree with that sentiment in principle.
But "Flim" in its original form is about 20,000x better:

The Bad Plus' cover is great as well:

- apophenic, on 07/04/2008, -0/+3Ahhh this guy's awesome. Check his Radiohead/Chopin one if you haven't already.
- Bowd99, on 07/04/2008, -0/+3Come To Daddy. Sorry, I'm very pedantic.
- blacklilyninja, on 07/04/2008, -0/+3bright eyes is amazing and Jack did a great job on this song.
.. and then there is richard james. One of the geniuses of electronic music. - inactive, on 07/03/2008, -2/+5Cool. When I saw the mattress the way it was I thought it's my room
- sjm20k, on 07/04/2008, -0/+3yeah i didn't like the lyrics or the vocals really, i liked the bits he nicked from aphex twin. are you bright eye's manager or something?
- dleesgeetar, on 07/04/2008, -0/+3its nice to be an ass
- sjm20k, on 07/04/2008, -1/+3if you havent heard the afx original (flim) you ought to check that one out - i'm not sure i really like the bright eyes bit mixed in, but i liked the drill n bass programming
- inactive, on 07/04/2008, -0/+2Its a mashup, not a cover.
Jesus Christ. - CGorman68, on 07/04/2008, -0/+2Bright Eyes is the vehicle for Conor (up until recently, anyway) so it's not like the other players are anything more than glorified session musicians. Except Mike Mogis, of course.
- gregmo, on 07/04/2008, -2/+4really good. Guy has a great voice.
- nucleicoutfit, on 07/04/2008, -0/+2Richard James (Aphex) has released new material under the name "The Tuss". If you're a fan, check it out. It's some of his best.
- helikopter, on 07/04/2008, -1/+3except its a glockenspiel
- Jimmeeee, on 07/04/2008, -0/+2It sounds like the song "Flim".
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RhHkUg-QCwk - Glitchwerks, on 07/04/2008, -0/+2Huge influence in a lot of scenes. Techno, hardcore, breakcore, drill n bass, etc. He's pretty much pioneered a lot of different styles. His influence in ambient is perhaps the least bit he's known for, because it was mainly SAW2, and by then Namlook was firmly entrenched in the scene who pretty much became THE biggest ambient artist around...
- polygons, on 07/04/2008, -0/+2Never really was a big fan of Brighteyes but this is mashup is a jolly surprise
- sb76117, on 07/04/2008, -1/+3nice. he didnt have it in his myspace player so i couldnt add it to my profile. so i just embedded the video with &autoplay=1
- Tripw0l, on 07/04/2008, -1/+3THANK YOU DIGG FOR INTRODUCING ME TO JACK CONTE.

M A S H U P
learn2read - obsolite, on 07/04/2008, -0/+2Pedantic, nothing. It's like his biggest song. That'd be like like you apologizing for correcting me calling it Led Zeppelin's "Walkway to Heaven".
- bloodclot, on 07/04/2008, -0/+2is.
- WTFppl, on 07/04/2008, -0/+1Very creative for a mash-up. I bet t his guy likes Squarepusher and Autechre... for the awesome 2:42 of entertainment!
- optoomistic, on 07/04/2008, -0/+1this guys break is rushing at him at the speed of light...GREAT!
