- gsadamb, on 07/15/2009, -1/+54Jesus, I read the title, and for a moment I thought it was news about his death. Yeeesh.
- chuckerton, on 07/14/2009, -7/+38I love AC/DC, so of course I love Angus Young.
That said, the unsung hero of AC/DC? His brother Malcolm. - Samuraizero, on 07/15/2009, -2/+24Saw him (and the band) in Madrid last June 5th. It was ***** incredible. It started to lowly rain about two hours before they had to start... We all were nervous, thinking it could be cancelled. Two hours and half later, he was playing under the ***** rain, water falling from his hands as he played. Brian Johnson asking the skies to go ***** themselves, cause rock was there and it was going nowhere. It was epic.
Angus is just a living legend. One that can still play a ten minutes long solo in front of over sixty thousand people and make them thrill.
And... For Those About To Rock!!! - Fleagleman, on 07/15/2009, -0/+13Wow, taken out of context, that sounds incredibly gay.
- Waynerz99, on 07/15/2009, -0/+11So many errors..I mean really, a comma instead of using an apostrophe?
Go back to youtube - akchrs, on 07/15/2009, -3/+13Actually, Metallica doesn't have anything on Megadeth.
- nullx42, on 07/15/2009, -6/+16I dont know why you're being dugg down, you are right. I mean Angus is in no way a bad guitarist, but I remember reading somewhere that Malcolm wrote most of the tabs for AC/DC songs.
- AnalogAssassin, on 07/15/2009, -2/+11Metallica turned into douchbags almost on the level of Nickelback.
- machinaBleed, on 07/15/2009, -0/+8Absolutely agree - angus is the first to admit that malcolm is the real genius - all the classic riffage and the lion's share of the writing is Malcolm.
- d3dm, on 07/15/2009, -1/+9I saw him perform in Texas at a small theater when I was in college. Angus hopped up on Bon's shoulders and when for a piggyback ride as Bon walked out into the audience and up and down the aisles while Angus was wailing away on his SG, gritting his teeth and flinging sweat everywhere, tethered only by his mile-long guitar cord. It was one of the best shows I've ever seen in my life. That was over 30 years ago back in the late 70s. RIP Bon.
- akchrs, on 07/15/2009, -2/+10does not.
- papastout, on 07/15/2009, -2/+10neckties

ACCA DACCA!!! You ***** ROCK!!! - Fleagleman, on 07/15/2009, -3/+10Angus insn't dead.
- Luvboat, on 07/15/2009, -0/+6It's "We salute you" but you get an A for effort.
- GuitarHeroDenn, on 07/15/2009, -4/+10His balls are always bouncing
- F4d3d, on 07/15/2009, -2/+7I would have loved to see a live show with Bon Scott as vocalist.
- westyvw, on 07/15/2009, -0/+5LOL, Nice Troll.
Glad to know that you appreciate Bob Dylan, who wrote Desolation Row in 1965. - glui2001, on 07/15/2009, -1/+5me too!
- Fleagleman, on 07/15/2009, -1/+5So did I.
- nullx42, on 07/15/2009, -3/+7Metallica Rock[ed], AC/DC Rocks.
- nullx42, on 07/15/2009, -2/+6God damn i'm having a rage fest here, what is it with these kids on digg?
- TheWalt, on 07/15/2009, -0/+4Honestly, WTF is wrong with you?
- diggopolous, on 07/15/2009, -0/+4jandersoniii, You realize that Desolation Row was written by Bob Dylan many decades ago right? I don't know if you were being sarcatic or clueless.
- AmazingSteve, on 07/15/2009, -0/+4And I would be point out that it is true... If you love ***** and felching.
- MasonZombie, on 07/15/2009, -1/+4Same, I ran to Wikipedia real quick to make sure. Close one.
- inactive, on 07/15/2009, -0/+3What is the meaning you are interested in? It's true that the question of who has "the biggest balls of them all" isn't the most important question in the world, but it is an interesting one. I bet mine are worthy of competition. Sorry if yours are not.
- ElCheLikesAudi, on 07/15/2009, -0/+3I always say that.
- nullx42, on 07/15/2009, -2/+5You're doing it wrong.
- nullx42, on 07/15/2009, -6/+9Because none of your ***** 'bands' ever did anything worth listening to or talking about. If I'm incorrect in my assumption that you're some young stupid kid that likes young incomprehensible music, then please, disregard. Anyone that likes ANY form of rock or metal and hates AC/DC (I'm not asking you to like them) does not understand their own musics history and might as well just listen to howler monkies mating, which is not far from what lots of today's "rock" sounds like.
- Javarrito, on 07/15/2009, -0/+2Why should we remember him? He's not dead yet.
- Slipin, on 07/15/2009, -3/+5Sorry, but not everyone is of your same opinion. I certainly respect AC/DC, and all they have done, but I also consider them highly overrated, and don't enjoy them anywhere near as much as other artists.
- TheSeeker11, on 07/15/2009, -0/+2Probably my favourite AC/DC song to see live - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DI0-Tdeckyw&fmt ...
- danj484, on 07/15/2009, -3/+5Old fanboy detected
- danj484, on 07/15/2009, -4/+6Dunno 'bout "sucks", but very overrated at least.
- hiro, on 07/15/2009, -0/+2Saw him in Glasgow a couple of weeks ago. Still grinning.
- ancalagon73, on 07/15/2009, -1/+3From the left and to the right.
- tunafizzle, on 07/15/2009, -1/+2This is probably on the front page because so many people are digging it because they are making the false assumption that he had recently died (look at the comments). The title doesn't contain any actual news, neither does the short text so some people just infer meaning and digg it as they scroll past. I'm sure a few AC/DC fans dugg it along the way as well. And it looks like the user can usually get at least 60 diggs minimum for his submissions so that gave it a nice boost to catch on faster, which makes it look even more like "news".
I like AC/DC but this is not news, just an anomaly really. - tomarocco, on 07/15/2009, -0/+1What difference does it make?
- inactive, on 07/15/2009, -1/+2IMHO: Angus Young (Jimi Hendrix notwithstanding) is one of the best Rock guitar players there has ever been.
I love his direct and uncomplicated style combined with the fact that he can play all that while running around all over the stage without missing a note. His music is totally accessible, exciting and full of good-old Rock and Roll energy without ever being pretentious. Good on ya Angus and Malcolm! - momedefome, on 07/15/2009, -0/+1***** yeah , a living legend , rock on Angus!!!!!!!!
- duncan202, on 07/15/2009, -4/+5Here's a down vote for you.
- k0rd, on 07/15/2009, -0/+1You have to be deaf to not be a fan of Angus. He's my all time favorite guitar player.
- nullx42, on 07/15/2009, -3/+4@EricSchC1
lol, no my dad did not but thanks for that trip down imaginary lane.
I didnt mean to come off that way. I'm not asking anyone to bow down to them as the best, but like I said in a comment above you, they changed music that came after them much like artists i don't even like. - DigitalRambler, on 07/15/2009, -1/+2AC/DC was the Best and loudest concert I have ever been to!
- Jkylman, on 07/15/2009, -0/+1If I could digg this 100x I would. Malcome and Phil are the motor behind one of the best rhythm sections in rock history!
- bossm4n, on 07/15/2009, -0/+1Your emo is showing. I suppose by your logic all classical is just geezer crap as well. Learn a little something about music theory, composition, and history, then come back when you have some knowledge and perspective.
- nullx42, on 07/15/2009, -5/+6@Slipin
Enjoyment is one thing, but what they have given to a genre is another. I never said you have to like them. I personally don't like Nirvana and think they are overplayed, but how they impacted music after them is undeniable. You can not tell me that the world of rock and metal would have been exactly the same without AC/DC. - westyvw, on 07/15/2009, -0/+1Nickelback... Nickelback....whats that remind me of? Oh yeah: http://tinyurl.com/5zbjtm
