- asdfer, on 10/12/2007, -4/+22Blasphemy!!!!
Thou shalt not cast in the name of Neil Peart in vain!
the correct sentence is: "Take that, Lars Ulrich!" - flubba, on 10/12/2007, -2/+14he's igor falecki.
and his brother not that bad on the bass either. - scottylist, on 10/12/2007, -1/+12When I as 4 I was still eating my buggers and wetting my bed. This kid is unreal. I'd bet on his future.
- ProfessorRiffs, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8Stop.
- TungFu, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9Of all the young kids I have seen playing the drums this kid is my favorite and I believe has the most star potential of them all because he has the qualities that can't be taught
his rhythm is very strong for his age. where most "toddler" age drummers I have seen have good technical skills for their age they have a hard time keeping a steady rhythm. you can tell this kid has a good feel for the "groove" by the way he really gets into it bobbing his head and grooving to the music. while he makes occasional technical mistakes he rarely goes off beat. his rhythm and coordination are amazing for his age.
Another thing I noticed from him that I don't notice from other child drummer prodigies is his charisma. Maybe its just because he is such an adorable little kid but his smile and energy are very infectious - Reliant, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8NoLeftTurn you are absolutely right. I seen young kids play as well and all were taking it too seriously. I'm also glad that mom/dad are making him wear electronic baffles at his young age!!
- TwinkieTheKid, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7www.colemarcus.com he played NAMM at 4. there's also this kid, he's 21 months old in most of the videos. http://www.littledrummerbaby.com/
- winbolo, on 10/12/2007, -3/+9Another video of a 12 year old drummer. The amazing Tony Royster Jr.

He plays better then most adults! - NoLeftTurn, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6I've seen plenty of kids play drums... most of them seem very full of themselves... this kid seems like he's just having fun. It may not be technical but I'm sure he'll learn all that stuff when he's older. For now I dig the fact that he's just jamming with his dad, what a cool way to bond with your son.
- crackhammer, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6And his name... IGOR - perfect drummer name
- Tunak, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6My 4 year old brother is not coordinated enough to walk most of the time then i see this kid playing drums like that. Damn that is awesome.
- socbret, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5I love the part about 1:20 in where he goes "woooo" and looks like he's throwing up two birds. He's really good though, you guys should check out the video.
- TEMM, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Ehm, Do you think those big blue things on his head are ears? Those are sound protection. Kudos to his 'rents for not letting him destroy his ears right off the bat. He'll probably make sure he wears some form of hearing protection for the rest of his life since he's started off young.
- metasin, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7i'm not trying to hate on that kid, but "amazing"? i would say he's good for his age.
if you want to see an "AMAZING" young dude playing, check out Tony Royster Jr at twelve years old. plays a nearly eight minute long drum solo. the kid is out-of-control good.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TqQFHhtyAwk - Smigge87, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5I agree, I can't wait to hear from this kid again in about 10 years. We can only hope he keeps with it.
- cbeach, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6Are you kidding? This kid is FOUR years old. God only knows what he'll be like by the age of twelve.
- metasin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4just 'cause he's not wearing the big blue cans doesn't mean he's not wearing earplugs.
- Araya213, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Kid looks like he really enojoys what he's doing, that's the most important part. This kid is gonna be the man!
- nicroma, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5Tony Royster Jr is awesome, but the solo he is playing is pre written, and he is 3 times this kids age. This 4 year old IS amazing.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Maybe i was just ahead of the curve, but at that age (my older brother found a drumset in a church dumpster), I was playing bossa nova and other common rhythms.
I think it just comes down to proper teaching. Starting out, when i didn't understand time signatures and what not, I simply learned patterns and standard fills, & just mixed and matched.
Kudos to the kid for bringing back memories! - ghazalparvati, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5There is also this 4 year's old DJEMBE drummer :

- charlescheese, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3What that kid is doing is amazing. Did you feel the groove that he had at times? My son is almost four, and I have a drum set, and he can't do anything on them yet. Again, that kid had great timing and good groove. He's going to be one hell of a great drummer someday.
- dwdrummerboy, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4btw, hes in his 20's now
- spectre_25gt, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2First, go get a practice pad + a set of sticks and practice your rudiments. http://www.vicfirth.com/education/rudiments.html
Learn that and you'll be a whole lot better for it down the road. - kd1s, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3A white four year old child and he has the funk. It's a sign I tell you, a sign. Something bad is gonna happen.
I say this is an adult Italian who has the funk. I'm widely viewed as the anti-christ. - Stri, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2that kid is immense!
- seventoes, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Futurama reference.
- fixerofthings, on 12/15/2008, -0/+1so talented
- fixerofthings, on 12/08/2008, -0/+1so awesome

- fixerofthings, on 12/02/2008, -0/+1dude, no way! judhsfkjsAD
- fixerofthings, on 12/15/2008, -0/+1so good, I almost peed in my pants!
- dioscaido, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3Pretty neat that the kid is so young, but I agree -- it's essentially the same beat for 2 minutes, with one or two variations thrown in.
- abibakar, on 10/17/2008, -0/+1Its weird, though, that beat that he was playing first, I was beating out with my hands earlier today. I thought I made it up!

It's basically just like 'LOOK HOW FAST I CAN PLAY' and that's all there is to it. Like, sure he's good for being 12, but he needs a band to show if he's truly talented or not.
- carcrazy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1This kid is awesome!
