Do you realise you just told on yourself? If you right-click open, the movie is still downloaded to your PC, but into a temporary location. So any movie file you open in this manner is running from your PC, not the server. And I can guarantee there is no porn on my server. - trunkster, on 10/12/2007, -1/+45Does the porn look familar?
- ippersiel, on 10/12/2007, -1/+36while your at it, try hacking his computer. His IP address is 127.0.0.1
- shosterman, on 10/12/2007, -1/+18That has to be the funniest thing I've read all day.
- chocobomog, on 10/12/2007, -0/+15I think you are reading too much into a teaser which shows very little. And many times the teaser has little to do with the story of the actual movie. We don't know where they came from, they might be just temporarily based on mars before the big strike.
Or they really are from mars.
Either way it is a Transformers movie and as long as they have robots changing into cars and such I will be happy. Now I will be super ecstatic if they have a great story and symphonic version of the theme, but for now I am happy that this is finally happening. - Grambo, on 10/12/2007, -1/+14I don't think that they are implying that the transfomers are from Mars. If I were Megatron I would use Mars as a staging area to prepare to invade Earth.
- ThrillSeeker, on 10/12/2007, -1/+12Michael Bay is directing it?! God save this movie from his hands..
- Miyazaki, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10Didn't get this in time to edit...this is from an interview by Quint with Michael Bay...
"Bay later revealed that although this is the beginning of the movie, it isn't the first thing we see. Bay's words were, "We will actually see Cybertron," which is the planet where the Autobots hail from." - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10Actually, the official Transformer movie site had the exclusive on that one.
http://www.transformersmovie.com/ - Mace37, on 10/12/2007, -1/+10haha, kippy you're an idiot.
- skags, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9Where in that trailer did it actually say the transformers were originally from Mars? You all have very literal, uncreative minds.
- StephenChow, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9Direct Download: http://home.insightbb.com/~lotusfilms/tfteaser.avi
- KyleRayner, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7The trailer is now live on the official site, in better quality. I guess the leak made em forego the countdown.
- RandomGuySteve, on 10/12/2007, -4/+11Don't get excited. It was a "Teaser" trailer, utterly devoid of anything that would actually be in the movie.
More quality time wasting via Digg RSS. - Hearshot, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7i youtubed http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UXZrD_QO83s
- stupidStan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7you have to be from our world to see it dumbhead
- UGM2099, on 10/12/2007, -3/+9Maybe there was a typo on the script. TransforMARS: The Movie
- bebop717, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6World Exclusive.
Exclusive to just this planet. - Miyazaki, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Megatron is in the script people, god. I swear fanboys wil rip anything to shreads given the chance.
Take a step back for a second and thing. Being on Mars != being FROM Mars...we clear on that? Also, it's called a teasr trailer for a reason, it's mean tto tease you. You'll have to wait a bit longer to see a real Autobot in action. Lastly...how the hell can Michael Bay screw up a movie that is nothing but giant robots kicking ass and blowing ***** up? He was born to make this movie. - alexeikgb, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5There is no way they are from mars... the teaser just shows them being there... a base perhaps... maybe stopping point on the way to earth....
- Jugalator, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5rofl, that comment is a classic :-D
- theImposs1ble, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5i think thats the funniest comment i ever read. seriously this needs to go into the hall of fame
- cryonix, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5serioulsy? i mean common, you got to be messing around right? im taking this as a joke because... well its to damn funny.
- pseudojd, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7Digg Darwin Awards anyone? I sure hope this guy does not have a drivers license.
- Iviz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Maybe they were battling on mars and that why all the aliens are dead there now.
- stupidStan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4i have to agree, kippy does rule... i am laughing my a$$ off... i wonder if he noticed that that porn looked familiar?
- Ayavaron, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3For those puzzled by this string of comments as I was for a minute or two before re-reading Kippy's comments a couple of times, Kippy is just opening his own downloads folder and finding his own porn. I feel kinda dumb for not figuring that out immediately. I'm just sharing the info for others.
- nixr, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3for Kippy. http://www.dummies.com/WileyCDA/DummiesTitle/productCd-0764573268.html
- jla1987, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I've never been the biggest Transformers fan, but all I can say is WOW! That looks awesome. Excellent trailer!
- eth3l, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Best comment ever:
"If I were Megatron I would use Mars as a staging area to prepare to invade Earth. " - gbeirne, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3It's a teaser trailer. It's teasing you. Get over it.
- shooby, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3some transformers were probably on mars or something
no way they would get rid of an entire planet (cybertron) - festivalman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Here's another link in case the one above fails. http://hood.filefu.com/view/2006/videos/transformers.flv
- Cheeseness, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Bumblebee was the only transformer to be actually constructed.
- C00001, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2That's why it's called a teaser. It's supposed to drive hype and speculation.
- Atomic1fire, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2its ment to be a teaser not a high action get you to watch it type deal
- WPFever, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Okay so I saw 2.3 seconds of transformer and a transforming word. Too bad it wasn't more exciting.
- Jadinlee, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3The guy just registered within the last 24 hours. And his profile is basically an add for his site. My guess is that they guy is just drawing attention to drive traffic to his site among those curious enough to look. Smells like scam to me.
- Joe091, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2omg that is the greatest thing I've ever seen on the entire internet! hahahaha!
- kola_kidd, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2okay this is *****, it says Beagle 2 landed on mars right, then why the ***** have they used a JPL rover?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beagle_2 - Cheeseness, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I'm really hoping that it's just the decepticons that are on Mars (presumably whilst searching for the energon cude or something - I mean really... there's got to be a reason they'd want to go to Earth), and that the Autobots follow them.
- Jugalator, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3From that trailer, I thought only the biggest of the biggest Transformers fans would be impressed by *that*.
Exactly what was supposed to be cool here? All you see is a Beagle getting smashed by, presumably, a Transformer. Whoop-de-doo. - Mace37, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3http://www.collegehumor.com/pictures/1632591/
I found this storyboard from a scene in the movie if anyone's interested. - Artifez, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Yeah I'm pretty sure it's as the other guys said, Mars would make a great staging area for an invasion.
- bamfsog, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Why all the Michael Bay hate? He makes action movies where stuff blows up. He doesn't claim to be doing anything more. Personally I like to see brainless actions movies sometimes. Not every movie needs to have 'plot' and 'character development'! Yes its nice when you get all of the above (go Superman), but not every movie has to have that. As long as I know what I am getting into when I walk into the movie, I'm good.
As for The Transformers, I watched the show, bought the toys, and got the comics as a kid. Hell I still pick up the occasional Transformer comics. I'm digging the Transformers vs. GI Joe books right now. They aren't great (or even particularly good) but the art is great and I am a nostalgic geek. They are exactly like the comic version of a Michael Bay movie. And you got Spielberg on board to add a little bit of respectability.
I think the teaser trailer looked fun. Don't let your childhood memories convince you this show was the be-all end-all of good. It was if you where six, but it needs something if you are older. Let them add a little something. Turn your brain down a few notches and let it have some fun. - Archangel621, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4Somehow Michael Bay is going to screw this up.
- JoPettitt, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Can't wait. This should rock!
- v3xt0r, on 10/12/2007, -1/+27.4.7? You mean we have to wait another year?
I know chicks who were virgins who wouldn't even make me wait that long after teasing me like that! =/ - Groady, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1How is it that the marketing department for this film thinks plastering Michael Bay's name in big bold letters under the logo is a selling point for this film?
