- Spyder2k, on 07/16/2008, -3/+250As if we needed further confirmation of Christian Bale's badassness.
- bixby1, on 07/16/2008, -3/+200Yeah, I'll admit it, I got the chills.
- FZero68, on 07/16/2008, -16/+193I'll just say one thing, pg13, that is all.
- DrCrankenstein, on 07/16/2008, -3/+139I don't know what to think...
Christian Bale is awesome
But it's directed by the guy who produced the OC (McG)? - neocr0n, on 07/16/2008, -3/+124Anything with Bale has my attention.
- chocobomog, on 07/16/2008, -6/+108Terminator 1 would be PG-13 by today's standard (they may have to remove a F-bomb here and there). Heck, even Aliens violence is mild by today's standards.
There are some great, violent, sci-fi/fantasy movies that get away with a PG-13: Lord of the Rings, Transformers. Beowulf, Star Wars Ep 3, Fifth Element, etc. It won't have "Saw"-level gore, but you can see humans and terminators get seriously torn up in war in a PG-13 movie. Hell, The Dark Knight is supposed to be devastatingly brutal at PG-13.
If the studio gives a movie a bigger budget (which = more Terminators) because it is PG-13 and will have a larger audience, then so be it. Just show me some damn terminators and humans blowing each other away in a gritty, nuclear winter, future.
Also, R rated doesn't automatically make it "good". See: Matrix sequels. - inactive, on 07/16/2008, -2/+100HOLY *****. I am so ***** excited for this. This is the movie I've been waiting for ever since I saw that robotic foot crush a human skull.
- amercer, on 07/16/2008, -0/+94I always forget that Christian Bale is British. He nails the American accent, he's amazing.
- inactive, on 07/16/2008, -12/+106I'm sorry, don't take this the wrong way... but did anybody else think that this trailer was hard to watch? It just kept flashing these half-a-second long clips interspersed with static.
Still, it looks like it could be cool, and hey - it's got Christian Bale. :) - almondfilter3, on 07/16/2008, -1/+85McG is an awful director. Get a real name too, dick.

links to 720p and 1080p are below the vid (quicktime) - Raider007, on 07/16/2008, -5/+82T2: Connor has an attitude
T3: Connor is a little girl
TSalvation: Bale has an attitude again? - mark076h, on 07/16/2008, -0/+64I just want one epic battle between an army of resistance fighters and machines that lasts for more than 45 seconds, one epic scene that is like 45 minutes.
- Someguy101, on 02/19/2009, -0/+62I thought the message of the 3rd one was that there was still some cash that could be milked from the Terminator franchise.
- inactive, on 07/16/2008, -1/+53Dyson listened while the Terminator laid it all down: Skynet, Judgment Day, the history of things to come. It's not everyday you hear that you're responsible for 3 billion deaths. He took it pretty well.
- Vuredel, on 07/16/2008, -0/+49What we need is another Land Before Time movie.
Who's with me?? - anagoge, on 07/16/2008, -0/+44*did not know this and is shocked*
- amercer, on 07/16/2008, -3/+44You've just described exactly what it is... a teaser.
And yeah, this movie is gonna rock. - frozenpxl, on 07/16/2008, -3/+43Latino Review? What does that even mean?
- superal1394, on 07/16/2008, -16/+55I got chills... of fear that they are going to continue to rape an amazing movie and destroy its credibility.
They should have stopped at 2. - RudeTurnip, on 07/16/2008, -0/+37Welsh, specifically
- analogkid01, on 07/16/2008, -2/+38Nice nod to "Aliens" at the end there...
- Raptor007, on 07/16/2008, -0/+35I feel like I'm going to throw up.
- HomestarsOnDigg, on 07/16/2008, -0/+35You're judging me on thing's I haven't even done yet. Jesus. How
were we supposed to know? - anagoge, on 07/16/2008, -0/+32To play us out? To end the show?
- WarMachineWCLH, on 07/16/2008, -0/+31That would be awesome. Really what you want then is basically the opening to Saving Private Ryan, only with Terminators instead of Germans and a bombed out Southern California instead of beaches of Normandy.
- poidh, on 07/16/2008, -11/+42The film is going to be PG-13, which means it won't be realistic at all. How can you have a Terminator film without ultraviolence?
- thrillki1l, on 07/16/2008, -1/+31I'll see it but I hate how the terminator message has been changed so much. the first 2 movies were about how we can change our future and don't have to end up killing each other. But the 3rd movie completely changed it and said the future is unchangeable.
- Slayerdude51982, on 07/16/2008, -2/+28after the lacklusterness of T3, man oh man, not even a full trailer and I want to see this movie.
- Rheic, on 07/17/2008, -1/+24Yeah, T3 was horribly miscast.
- badjoke, on 07/17/2008, -0/+21The funniest thing is when people criticize him for having a bad English accent.
- wafu, on 07/17/2008, -1/+22***** IT I'LL WRITE IT MYSELF! WE'LL DO IT LIVE!!!!!!
- CrimsonBlur, on 07/16/2008, -3/+23Normally I would agree, but Christian Bale more than makes up for the absence of Arnold.
- donkz, on 07/16/2008, -15/+35OMG SPRAYING C*M EVERYWHERE

- gaqua, on 07/16/2008, -0/+19Which is kind of the bleak reality. The machines' plan should have worked. John Conner should have been killed by the machines. There's no reason one person going into the past should have prevented that. Their plan in the 2nd should have worked, too. The T1000 was much, much more advanced.
The overall message has always been the same. You can change the details, but the events still occur. There's nothing more disconcerting than knowing that you have to work your ass off to fight to maintain the status quo of future events. - cnot3, on 07/16/2008, -0/+19Terminator 2?
- inactive, on 07/16/2008, -0/+19When you work with time travel, anything is possible.
- anagoge, on 07/16/2008, -0/+18You had a Terminator that was Austrian, what more do you want!
- jcsoc, on 07/17/2008, -0/+18***** THING SUCKS!
- alexforcefive, on 07/17/2008, -0/+17The correct term is "badassery"
- Jhiaxuz, on 07/16/2008, -1/+18In Canada we are more lenient in regards to the rating system. A good example of this would have been Saving Private Ryan in that it was only rated PG-13 here while it had a R rating in the USA. So, ratings are only generally limited to certain regions and we're not all shocked by PG-13 as the American public. It would seem like sex and drugs carry more weight on the rating board than violence these days.
Think of the most violent act in T2, which was rated R. To me, it was when the T-1000 took the form of the security guard and his finger pierced the other security guard's skull. Nothing to extravagant or graphic, but it served it's purpose to show that the T1000 does not ***** around. Compare that to what we have now and it seems pretty common and even a little calm.
In this movies case, I think the name of the director alone trumps any other worry that this film will tank. Although I sincerely hope it does not. - haterofps3, on 07/17/2008, -0/+17Puberty does weird things to some men doesn't it?
- khuongsta, on 07/16/2008, -18/+34No Arnold = No Care
- USER1236, on 07/16/2008, -2/+17Its called a teaser for a reason.
- mediaphile, on 07/17/2008, -5/+20@jimmiss:
You must be joking.
The TV series is one of the worst bastardizations of an intellectual property ever created. Even the Robocop TV show had more integrity.
They seriously tried to pass off sexual tension between the (unnecessarily) female cyborg and John Connor.
Someone's taking the piss with that one.
Also, I hate McG as much as the next guy, but I think he will do better with a movie about killer robots than he did with the kitschy remake of the kitschy 70's show about sexy bubbly female spies. A movie is only as good as the script, and John August blows. On the other hand, the new Terminator movie is written by the same guys that wrote T3, so maybe I shouldn't hold out much hope after all. - c0baltfish, on 07/17/2008, -0/+15Ghostbusters was PG and Bill Murray called someone dickless.
- mywhitenoise, on 07/16/2008, -0/+14Even that blog spam mentioned that link. If anything your link should be dugg up, and this story should be buried.
