- spritom, on 12/16/2008, -1/+94It's a long night
- nick7er, on 12/15/2008, -4/+54John Connor says in the trailer that "the war ends tonight"
so how's a new trilogy possible? - artificialgrey, on 12/16/2008, -0/+34Time travel is a key component of each film - he might be telling the truth.
- dougdeep, on 12/15/2008, -3/+34Like the man said, "I'll be back, and back, and back..."
- BullHunter, on 12/15/2008, -5/+32Anything with Christan Bale in it is bound to be good.
- isunktheship, on 12/16/2008, -1/+27Obviously that was john Connor from 3 years in the future, but 4 years in the future John comes back to tell his 1 year old self, who is telling his 3 year old self the war is over, and his 4 year old self, who was previously listening to his future 3 year old self tell him that the war is over, that the war is in fact not over.
nice try hollywood. - dweeb79, on 12/16/2008, -3/+28OS X Terminator was released, but the machine would just stand there admiring how pretty it looked.
It's a joke, so don't get your testis in a bunch :) - had3l, on 12/16/2008, -0/+22I heard that as part of the Terminator 7 viral campaign they are planning on destroying the human race to make sure reality matches the Terminator timeline.
- Shaggy3, on 12/16/2008, -1/+17Since trailers give away the entire movie.
- Balanced, on 12/16/2008, -1/+17It's a series with a major plot element of time travel.
- clockdist, on 12/16/2008, -4/+20I tell ya one thing: the TV series is awesome!
- Daxx22, on 12/16/2008, -0/+15#1, well he was in the pussy. #2 he was actually a competent little kid. #3, yeah he was a pussy.
- awtripp, on 12/16/2008, -0/+14Wasn't raspy enough, needs more cotton in the mouth.
- Killian35, on 12/16/2008, -0/+14I can't wait! Number 4 was awesome!
- santiago1, on 12/16/2008, -2/+14 Maybe they'll finally portray John Connor as a man instead of the whining pussy he's been in the first 3 movies.
Leading humanity in a war against the robots? I don't think so. - inactive, on 12/16/2008, -0/+12In the third act, The Terminator reboots himself, to rid his system from corruption caused by the T-X. As he does, we can see, in his first-person "Terminator Vision", many items scroll by. These include: "Remote Access", "Sound", "Memory", "Software Update", "QuickTime Player", "Control Strip", "Date and Time", "Multiple Users", "Keychain Access", "Location Manager", "Energy Saver", "Add Application Program",) are easily recognized components of Apple Macintosh operating systems, most likely Mac OS
in which "Terminator Vision" incorporated assembly code for the MOS 6502 microprocessor, the CPU for the then-current Apple II computer. - ThreeHives, on 12/17/2008, -0/+11I AM SICK AND TIRED OF THESE ***** ROBOTS FROM THE ***** FUTURE!!!11!
- Anand999, on 12/16/2008, -0/+11People also said World War 1 was the "war to end all wars". We see how that turned out.
- astyguy, on 12/16/2008, -2/+12i wonder what os the terminator uses ....
- zip000, on 12/16/2008, -1/+11He didn't leave it blank because he didn't know the name of the movie. He was pretending that it didn't exist.
Like most of us. - jsroach, on 12/16/2008, -0/+10And Terminator six will be the clever merging of The Terminator and The Matrix. It's been one story this whole time! The first Agent Smith was a T100 from Austria!!!
- reaper527, on 12/16/2008, -0/+10"John Connor says in the trailer that "the war ends tonight"
so how's a new trilogy possible?"
its just a sound byte. you could pull the sound byte from ninja turtles 1 where splinter says "the shredder is dead", and then justify that as a reason why there can't be a 2 and 3. - mcwattersm, on 12/16/2008, -3/+12Cameron should of never sold off the rights. McG is truly going to stab the series until there is no more money to be made from it. Why the ***** did they hire such a ***** director?
"Hey you guys seen Charlies Angles?"
"Yeah that movie sucked."
"Lets hire the director."
"Great idea!"
Seriously? - BlakeEM, on 12/16/2008, -0/+8Maybe he was mistaken and fails in the end?
- inactive, on 12/16/2008, -0/+8They left out one scene in T2 which you can see in some versions of it. It's the one where John convinces Sarah not to smash the chip when he takes it out to reconfigure it. I thought it was a good scene and showed glimpses of his leadership.
- kolinkoolface2, on 12/16/2008, -0/+8i saw the trailer, this movie looks awesome. I think everyone wanted to see a film where the humans actually fought the machines in future. If you didn't wish to see that, you are lying to yourself.
- arizona01, on 12/16/2008, -3/+101. Terminator
2. Terminator 2: Judgment Day
3. ???
4. Terminator Salvation - tetraelement, on 12/16/2008, -0/+7you haven't even seen Salvation, so how can you see it is a poorly directed action flick?
- EllimistX, on 12/16/2008, -1/+8Oh my god, I've gone cross-eyed...
- KayinAngel, on 12/16/2008, -0/+7the shredder is dead ?? NOOO !!!! Oh, what a world.
- inactive, on 12/16/2008, -5/+12You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain.
- zadadka, on 12/16/2008, -0/+6I wonder if any reference will be made in the film to his times on the run in younger life with Uncle Derek and Cameron...?
- easysqeezy, on 12/16/2008, -0/+6Any movie with Christian Bale = me paying $10 bucks to see it in theaters at midnight wearing my batman suit.
- BluesFan, on 12/16/2008, -0/+6I hope humanity falls.
- inactive, on 12/16/2008, -5/+11this movie is going to suck
(no Arnold Schwarzenegger)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Qimi1HLgZg - specialK16, on 12/16/2008, -0/+6Not really. T1 and T2 are perfectly compatible with TSCC. T3 is not.
Salvation is a prequel, set in the future, so Cameron will not exist in there. Derek will though. - ignacious, on 12/16/2008, -1/+7Bale will do anything. He is the white Sam L. Jackson
- eadnams, on 12/16/2008, -0/+6Alternate timeline from the films... due to them hopping forward 7 years.
- ethanpack, on 12/16/2008, -1/+7If they end up doing six Terminator movies, then you could (probably) draw a ton of comparisons to the "full" six-movie Star Wars saga. The original three would go - decent ("A New Hope" & "The Terminator", great ("Empire Strikes Back" & "Terminator 2: Judgment Day"), and blah ("Return of the Jedi" & "Terminator 3: War of the Machines")
We all know how the next three would go... :o(
That being said, I hope that Terminator: Salvation will break this pattern. - inactive, on 12/17/2008, -0/+5Dugg for "in the pussy".
(well, Dugg for both that and the fact that you nailed it) - TheEsp, on 12/17/2008, -0/+5They should have stopped after T2 but nooo
- Derelict267, on 12/16/2008, -2/+7-INSERT BALE'S DK VOICE COMMENT HERE DUR HURRR-
- Gareth321, on 12/17/2008, -0/+5Hyperbole?
- bubbameister33, on 12/17/2008, -0/+5They should do a movie together.
- Logicwax, on 12/16/2008, -0/+4I know........it's sad to see my favorite movie (T2...but of course that includes T1) from my childhood get stabbed and ripped into crappy sequals, squeezing any money left to me made from the name.
Terminator was Cameron's baby. It was all his idea. He should have never let it go. - babyheadout, on 12/16/2008, -0/+4This puts me in the mood for Newsies!
- inactive, on 12/17/2008, -0/+4At this rate, we'll have real terminators before they wrap up the movies.
- Merp08, on 12/17/2008, -1/+5I jerk off to Cameron every time.
- zip000, on 12/16/2008, -2/+6It's better with out Arnold.
Don't get me wrong, Arnold was great in (at least in the first 2) but he's starting to look pretty damned old.
Do terminators age? Maybe they do...they do have skin...but it's never been mentioned.
I suppose that they could easily write it into the script that the terminators' skin ages like humans do, but I think it would be weak. - trunk8, on 12/17/2008, -1/+5Yet another reason to forget #3 ever happened.
