- cloudcomputing, on 11/08/2008, -3/+147Terminator 2 was the best... hope they can match it this time around..
- schizogony, on 11/08/2008, -5/+141Adding Christian Bale to a movie is like adding peanut butter to chocolate.
- ControlcChris, on 11/08/2008, -2/+83GET TO THE CHOPPA!
- HillerMylife, on 11/08/2008, -3/+67You got your Christian Bale in my movie!
You got your movie in my Christian Bale! - RaulMuadDib, on 11/08/2008, -4/+68What about Summer Glau? She is very watchable.
- DanteDefiance, on 11/08/2008, -4/+60I don't want to jinx it...but this looks like it might actually not suck.
- mpchester, on 11/08/2008, -4/+48The first three movies were fantastic? I think 1 & 2 were great, but 3 was weak.
- barth2k, on 11/08/2008, -1/+44McG? the poor man's Michael Bay, who in turn is the idiot's James Cameron?
- GlitchEnzo, on 11/08/2008, -6/+38To each their own. I am greatly enjoying the show. It's a hell of a lot better than Heroes now.
- tabularassa, on 11/08/2008, -0/+30"The major problem with time-travel is quite simply one of grammar" --Douglas Adams
- lektroluv, on 11/08/2008, -4/+33After seeing all the Terminator movies and the series, I wish they'd come up with something else than "come with me if you want to live".
Still hyped about this movie, though. - Daxx22, on 11/08/2008, -0/+27Except this is a prequal to Terminator one, taking place in the Future after Judgement Day but before they went back in time.
- d2002, on 11/08/2008, -2/+27The Aqua-Terminator is badass.
- Daxx22, on 11/08/2008, -2/+27Compared to 1 and 2 it was weak, but on it's own it's an enjoyable action film.
- inactive, on 11/08/2008, -3/+27I cant imagine a terminator movie without Arnie
- inactive, on 11/08/2008, -1/+24That theme song, I can never get over it. It really sets the perfect tone for the feeling of destruction, hope and sadness all roll into one.
- Daxx22, on 11/08/2008, -0/+22Bulker/Bigger: Earlier tech, like our own computers. They get smaller, streamlined, and in this case, deadly as time goes on.
Diverse: Bigger movie budget, better special effects. They could only do so much in the 80's and having 10 different Terminators would have broke the effects bank. Now with digital effects it's easy. - MINDmantra, on 11/08/2008, -1/+22arnie lied hes not coming back
- HillerMylife, on 11/08/2008, -2/+23But this is happening in the 2010s, 2020s; that is, before 1992, because time travel you see,
- Hardflip, on 11/08/2008, -0/+19It's set in the future, but before the T800s were made/sent back.
- p3ngwin, on 11/08/2008, -0/+19exactumundo!
someone actually paid....attention to the video and remembered important ***** like this. unlike the rest here bitching about "they should have t-800's for nostalgia value"...
jesus christ on a rollercoaster. - WELLDOITLIVE, on 11/08/2008, -1/+20I completely disagree. I think it's incredible because we learn so much more about the entire terminator universe, Skynet's creation, and much more. I'm a huge terminator nerd and I think it's great.
- inactive, on 11/08/2008, -0/+19Back to the apocalyptic future?
- nonymous666, on 11/08/2008, -3/+21It's my favorite show right now. Sorry, 'Heroes'.
- pistonhonda, on 11/08/2008, -1/+19You're right, it really doesn't make sense at all. But I don't think that's the point anymore.
- smacksaw, on 11/08/2008, -0/+18Except for the Aqua-Terminator that was in the clip.
Several times.
Snapping at Bale's face.
Or not. - schizogony, on 11/08/2008, -0/+17I'll be back...
...when I think of one. - TEEMANOID, on 11/08/2008, -0/+17GOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
- UberNick, on 11/08/2008, -0/+17The Machinist? Even anorexic Bale could kick all of our asses
- gforce051, on 11/08/2008, -0/+16So Christian Bale + movie = Reese's?
- wautrey, on 11/08/2008, -0/+16T-800-Model: 101
- WiretapStudios, on 11/08/2008, -0/+15He is a sleeper cell terminator unit posing as a governor...pretty scary if you ask me.
- DivisibleByZero, on 11/08/2008, -0/+14The shots of the future we saw in the first couple of movies had plenty of big bulky robots. They're easier to build than the human-looking terminators, and this one's set before they were invented.
But there's going to have to be a time traveler from later on. It's not a Terminator movie without time travel, and we know from the first one that Skynet hasn't invented the time machine by the point this takes place. - socialexpert, on 11/08/2008, -3/+16Don't know if its real or not but its a glimpse at the new face of Terminator.
- jnuffnuffnomnom, on 11/08/2008, -9/+22Did you call moi a *****?
- RaulMuadDib, on 11/08/2008, -0/+13You guys need to get your eyes checked. Girl is hot. Funny too.
The last episode they just had when they are at the bowling alley, she tells the guy:
"Give me the jacket"
Guy says: "Come get it baby"
Pulls out gun: "Bring it to me"
Gives her the jacket and she just shoots all three of them. - Zorkon, on 11/08/2008, -0/+12The T-800 is going to appear in a future movie. This isn't a one-off, I think they're looking at doing a John Connor trilogy IIRC.
- inactive, on 11/08/2008, -2/+14Not very likely with "McG" directing. His claim to fame was Charlies Angles 2.
- StanC, on 11/08/2008, -0/+12They will also wipe themselves out if they did that XD
- lolmax, on 11/08/2008, -1/+13"Come with me if you want to live!"
Are you serious? Again? - CarStan, on 11/08/2008, -0/+12Duh Duh DUH, Duh Duh Duuuh
- p3ngwin, on 11/08/2008, -0/+12(whispers)
put you leg down. - centran, on 11/08/2008, -0/+11Don't think about temporal paradox or you will hurt your head. You have been warned.
- Spytap, on 11/08/2008, -0/+11As the Article says, this takes place a number of years BEFORE the first terminator so the T-800 hasn't been developed yet. It's not that they changed it, it's that they're getting there.
- TechnoRabbit, on 11/08/2008, -5/+16Better?
- sovietninja, on 11/09/2008, -1/+12Christian Bale is John Connor = Kyle Reese's Son, therefore, yes, he's Reese's.
- benroy, on 11/08/2008, -0/+10I can. Have you seen him recently?
- bigteebo, on 11/08/2008, -1/+11This looks like fun. There's a bit of The matrix & Fallout here. let's just pretend T3 didn't happen. T1 & 2 & the series is canon that fits with each other. T3 apparently threw that out the window & TSSC nicely ignores T3. I'll go see this movie.
- WELLDOITLIVE, on 11/08/2008, -0/+10The 101 means he looks like Arnold. Underneath he is a T-800.
- DivisibleByZero, on 11/08/2008, -0/+10I think the T-800, T-1000, etc was the model number of the endoskeleton and 101 was the body style. i.e. in Terminator 3, he was a T-850, not an 800.
