- malfourmed, on 11/25/2007, -1/+66Follow the yellow line from Coruscant down to the area named "Wild Space". Tatooine is the orange planet among the cluster of systems near the end of that line.

/geek- Shakermaker, on 11/25/2007, -7/+1This.
- FeartheKnighted, on 11/26/2007, -0/+5I know, but I had to adjust it to answer his question.
- jnosanov, on 11/26/2007, -7/+1Correction: "If there is a bright center to the universe, it's the planet that it's farthest from."
- Shakermaker, on 11/25/2007, -7/+1This.
- COLDshiver, on 11/26/2007, -0/+2Pretty easy, just zoomed and that was the first thing i saw. I zoomed back out, now i can't find it again :(

- therightclique, on 11/26/2007, -1/+2did you just say you couldn't find a "man to love"? i think you did.
- ChileanGoD, on 11/26/2007, -1/+13I found it... but... looking at this map.... I can't help but wonder.... when is SPORE going to be released?....

- doublehead, on 11/25/2007, -4/+41I found Tatooine. It's in the cluster just to the right of Wild Space at the bottom of the map :)
- sockpuppets, on 11/25/2007, -4/+48Did you have a nerdgasm when you discovered it?

- jgzman, on 11/25/2007, -2/+25I strongly urge you to consider the scale of a galaxy.
In other words, those planets pictured are larger than the entire solar system they represent by several orders of magnitude.- m3mn0n, on 11/26/2007, -3/+1You need to get laid.

- AppleGeorge, on 11/25/2007, -35/+7Cool! This was submitted already numerous time, and if you weren't lazy and searched you could have realized that!
- NeonGod, on 11/25/2007, -2/+18Eh, it's good for the new diggers.
- iDiggIt42, on 11/26/2007, -1/+1Maybe there should be an entrance exam to Digg based on this map.
We could call it the "Virginity Test" (I'd pass, what about you?).

- alphaswift, on 11/25/2007, -20/+6This has been on the first page before. Of course, that means I'll probably see this again in 6 months.

- DreamVsPs2, on 11/25/2007, -30/+2to bad the game sucks
Oh No you didn'tttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt- deadnoob, on 11/25/2007, -1/+5no, you really didnt. this has nothing to do with a star wars galaxies. its a map of the galaxy that all the planets in star wars are from.
- DewKnight, on 11/26/2007, -1/+2the game sucks now. it used to be the greatest mmo ever made.
- Lane, on 11/25/2007, -5/+153Hey what's that moon on the map?Wait... That's no moon. That's a space station!
- Opanoid, on 11/25/2007, -3/+4Now that is funny :)
- frsrblch, on 11/25/2007, -1/+47I find your lack of original conversation disturbing.
- Lynx34, on 11/25/2007, -0/+14I find your statement heavily ironic... That said, it was still really funny.
- Vapor17, on 11/26/2007, -3/+6xkcd FTW!
- Jugalator, on 11/26/2007, -1/+1There's a moon on that map? :-p
Seriously, there are times when that joke works, and when it doesn't.
- BoardColorado, on 11/25/2007, -11/+2Really? No one is going to comment on how ***** that page is?
- BoardColorado, on 11/25/2007, -0/+7Nevermind, it reloaded in a nicer format.
- andrewcsayer, on 11/25/2007, -2/+35Where's the Kessel run?
- krisscofield, on 11/25/2007, -8/+2Kessel Run is a race, I believe "kessel" is spice.
:/ - Coven, on 11/26/2007, -1/+38The Kessel Run was a trip many smugglers made to steal spice from the planet Kessel. It would involve a very close path to the Maw Black Hole Cluster. The reason Han Solo was able to claim to be able to do it in less than 12 parsecs (a unit of distance, not time) is that he skirted closer to the black holes than anybody who dared do it before him.
- brucemanly, on 11/26/2007, -0/+9yeah that's what they say now. though george lucas is still a retard. having said that, star wars rocks!
- Coven, on 11/26/2007, -0/+4Yeah. That whole explanation was retconned in a while ago.
- therightclique, on 11/26/2007, -1/+1that is NOT canon, so shut the ***** up.
- Coven, on 11/26/2007, -0/+1Actually, it is at LEAST C-Canon, as it was explained in the Han Solo trilogy of books. So yes, it is canon. YOU shut the ***** up.
- brucemanly, on 11/26/2007, -0/+9yeah that's what they say now. though george lucas is still a retard. having said that, star wars rocks!
- krisscofield, on 11/25/2007, -8/+2Kessel Run is a race, I believe "kessel" is spice.
- Phantom1045, on 11/25/2007, -9/+2Diggers love star wars. So this site will die soon probably.

- TomHellier, on 11/25/2007, -18/+3I remember getting this map in a newspaper insert when Phantom Menace came out, had it on my wall for a while, then god rid of it. So yeah, this doesn't really interest me.
It's not even an especially high quality map.- danwallace, on 11/26/2007, -0/+7You are so cool.

- ChimpFlix, on 11/25/2007, -3/+7Star Wars, as Lucas has previously stated, is a 'space opera', not science-fiction. Also known as "space fantasy".
- SilverBack101, on 11/25/2007, -0/+60Wish the resolution wasn't so blah. :(
- zspitfire04, on 11/26/2007, -1/+1Thats what she said

- mawh, on 11/25/2007, -0/+4Weren't buffs higher than that?
Like.. .2,200?- arjie, on 11/26/2007, -1/+1How the hell is .2200 greater than 1500?
- Plato, on 11/25/2007, -0/+6Ahh the good ole days *le sigh*
SWG was so much fun until they made it virtually impossible for the game to work as a community (hunting groups, etc) and gave it those toonish F-key logo's.
I was a Master Doctor too (Sunrunner) and was the mayor of a city that made it to level 4 before I quit
oddly enough, I miss the grind...even though that was one of the things I always whined about...go figure. - DewKnight, on 11/26/2007, -0/+4yeah the completely ruined the game. SWGEmu is coming along nicely though. The CU just ruined it, and even before then the way they were screwing with the jedi system was so bad. When game companies try to make their game easier, it all starts going downhill.
- Jawsome, on 11/26/2007, -1/+2+1 for pre-cu SWG being awesome.
- mawh, on 11/25/2007, -0/+4Weren't buffs higher than that?
- tghd, on 11/25/2007, -5/+2Dugg Mirror finally caught something
http://duggmirror.com/movies/Star_Wars_Galaxy_Map_ ...- johnny222, on 11/25/2007, -2/+1Unfortunately, your link doesn't point there. http://duggmirror.com/movies/Star_Wars_Galaxy_Map_ ...
- quaffapint, on 11/25/2007, -0/+33Don't know if this is the same map (sites dead) - but just looked in Google Images for starwarsgalaxy and found this...
http://www.starwars.idv.tw/starwarsgalaxy.jpg- Lane, on 11/25/2007, -0/+5Not only is that it but it's a higher res than the original, God bless Google!
- Woah_G!, on 11/26/2007, -0/+2http://i10.tinypic.com/7ycczkl.jpg
Here's a flat and more detailed version of the galaxy.
- SymbolicBear, on 11/25/2007, -6/+0link is dead at 144 diggs :-(
- elgourmet, on 11/25/2007, -4/+0mirror anyone?

- JBabin3xB, on 11/25/2007, -2/+2yeah this was on here a while ago, but it's worth another digg
- AshamedAmerican, on 11/25/2007, -4/+20All it's missing is "You Are Here"
- frsrblch, on 11/25/2007, -1/+16Which part of "in a galaxy far, far away" did you not understand?
- childprey, on 11/25/2007, -1/+1That would be a Perspective Vortex, not a map
- AshamedAmerican, on 11/26/2007, -1/+2At least someone got the joke.
- childprey, on 11/26/2007, -1/+1Glad to be of service.
- therightclique, on 11/26/2007, -0/+1Yeah, and it wasn't you.
- AshamedAmerican, on 11/26/2007, -1/+2At least someone got the joke.
- Hetman, on 11/25/2007, -0/+2The hutts own mores space than the empire. Or am i reading the map incorrectly.
- AshamedAmerican, on 11/25/2007, -1/+6The map is after the fall of the empire, when its known as the "remnant" hence, they have virtually no real estate.
- danielrh9, on 11/25/2007, -2/+31Pretty cool. Judging by the appearance of Zonama Sekot and the fact that the Empire has only a handful of planets under control, I would guess that this is "politically accurate" for the New Jedi Order series timeline about thirty to forty years after Return of the Jedi.
God. I sound like Comic Book Guy when I say that. But who cares, it's still cool.- Seifey, on 11/25/2007, -5/+3But Dantooine is on there.
- Vapor17, on 11/26/2007, -2/+1Good Call
- Coven, on 11/26/2007, -0/+5So? Dantooine is never destroyed. You're thinking of Alderaan.
- AngryBacon, on 11/26/2007, -1/+2Alderann is there too...
- Remmiz, on 11/26/2007, -0/+1But it has a subtitle which I can't read. Most likely (Destroyed previously) or something.
- lukedinan, on 11/26/2007, -0/+5"Dantooine is too remote to make an effective demonstration..."
- Seifey, on 11/26/2007, -0/+2Oh, my mistake. (I was thinking KOTOR for a second)
- Vapor17, on 11/26/2007, -2/+1Good Call
- Seifey, on 11/25/2007, -5/+3But Dantooine is on there.
- u16085, on 11/25/2007, -1/+10I could of done with out a flashback... Gave up after the NGE
- shazzb0t, on 11/25/2007, -0/+8seriously, ***** that game. SOE totally fumbled one with one of the most profitable franchises in history. what a bunch of *****. smugglers went from being awesome to being complete ***** because spice wasn't 'family friendly'. give me a ***** break. pizza boy missions anyone?
- biggoron318, on 11/26/2007, -0/+1I did too. Pisses me off cause i loved that game i was like a week away from becoming a Jedi back when being a Jedi meant something. My poor Master Swordsman/Master Creature Handler.......
- therightclique, on 11/26/2007, -0/+1"could have"..... "could of" means absolutely nothing. please learn the language you are attempting to communicate with. this is like 4th grade level stuff.
- Evolutuon, on 11/25/2007, -1/+4I wonder if the pictured galaxy is the same one at the end of Empire Strikes Back?
- Vzylexy, on 11/25/2007, -0/+13Looking at that map brought back fond memories of Star Wars Galaxies, damn I miss that game so much, it's too bad SoE ruined it.
- Evolutuon, on 11/25/2007, -0/+4What a fiasco SWG was. Oh how I miss it too.
- jscnet, on 11/25/2007, -17/+2Cool if you're (like) 10. For all you 30 somethings; STAR WARS isn't real, it's a story written by a dude in the 70's. There is no Luke Skywalker, no Darth Vader and no Death Star. I say this because apparently some 30 something started a Jedi school in NY where a bunch of 30 somethings are taught to run around with plastic sabers. Time to grow up. Use fantasy as inspiration to create great things, make things better for mankind, not to surround yourself with useless and pathetic nonsense.
- ChimpFlix, on 11/25/2007, -1/+3The same could be said for anyone who participates in or watches sporting events.
Fantasy is a great thing, you grow up.- therightclique, on 11/26/2007, -0/+1that IS what should be said about someone who cares about sports. sports is far more pointless than scifi, because you never learn anything.
- jscnet, on 11/26/2007, -0/+1To: ChimpFlix --> Sure. Your point?
- mike81890, on 11/26/2007, -1/+3Oh *****. It isn't real? Then why the hell have I been wasting my votes on Luke Skywalker for President!
- jscnet, on 11/26/2007, -0/+1I bet you own every starwars toy ever made.
- AmICoolNow, on 11/26/2007, -1/+3No one believes it's REAL...
- jscnet, on 11/26/2007, -0/+1Read Thread. Lots of morons believe its real (even Physics Teachers.)

- Rev0lver, on 11/25/2007, -11/+104Am I the only one who read "Super Mario Galaxy Map" first?
- ZenMojo, on 11/25/2007, -1/+16No, you're not. WTF was that about?
- padfoot, on 11/25/2007, -0/+8Nope
- dedoubleyou1, on 11/25/2007, -0/+7oh ***** me 2
- patch6, on 11/26/2007, -0/+21I was thinking about how awsome Super Mario Galaxy must be with a map that huge for about 2 minutes, followed by deep shame.
- rwallen, on 11/26/2007, -0/+10Good I'm not the only one who can't read.
- andycr512, on 11/26/2007, -1/+6Me too, and I've never even seen or played it.
- shuckl4k, on 11/26/2007, -0/+7wow. same here.
- mike81890, on 11/26/2007, -0/+8I didn't think I saw Endor or Yavin on my playthrough of SMG >_>
- fLUx1337, on 11/26/2007, -0/+4Christ me too, and I don't even own a Wii, nor even played Super Mario Galaxy!!
I was just about to come back to say "no ***** way does a Wii game have that many levels!!!!!"......heh - potterboy, on 11/26/2007, -0/+4Same.
- humanabyss1, on 11/26/2007, -0/+1I'm scared now!
- AussieFox, on 11/26/2007, -0/+2I'm in the same boat, don't have Super Mario Gal, nor own a Wii.

- djdole, on 11/25/2007, -0/+2What do the colored lines represent?
This map needs a key.- corpusdigger, on 11/25/2007, -0/+1Those are trade routes. There's a trade route key towards the bottom of the map.
- dfdemar, on 11/25/2007, -3/+2I guess planets in Star Wars only have one type of climate.
- corpusdigger, on 11/26/2007, -0/+1What do you mean?
