- spmyke, on 07/10/2008, -1/+118Goddamnit. Will this movie ever come out?
- theguesser10, on 07/10/2008, -0/+70Shoot it into the sky!
- AshamedAmerican, on 07/10/2008, -0/+41The problem at the Chicago event was they projected it right onto floors of the Sears Tower that were completely lit and the signal ended up being barely visible.
All they would've had to do was move it down 3 floors to ventilation sections of the tower and it would've shown up much, much better. Besides the disappointing signal it was a fun night, lots of free swag and we ended up disrupting traffic more than a Brazilian soccer riot and irritating the CPD more than an empty envelope. - billbugger, on 07/09/2008, -8/+47Chocking on the sarcasm!
- MD12, on 07/10/2008, -4/+41They're doing it all wrong! It suppose to be in the clouds!
- flossdaily, on 07/10/2008, -0/+33This is going to confuse the hell out of the real life Batman.
- PhoenixAvatar2, on 07/10/2008, -1/+32You sleep in an office building?
- MavRevMatt, on 07/10/2008, -2/+32The Dark Knight marketing team is ***** genius.
- pwnerofnoobs, on 07/10/2008, -3/+32That's what she said.
- coheedcollapse, on 07/09/2008, -0/+27I was at the Chicago gathering and was actually right next to the walkie-talkie guy when we decoded the password and "activated" it. Unfortunately, something went wrong with the projectors and after getting the message "look north", we were treated to absolutely nothing. The New York gathering, however, went down without a hitch.
Something might be going on this weekend according to a countdown that runs out tomorrow night. Hope that one works a little better. I'll sure as hell be there with my camera. - diggit08, on 07/09/2008, -5/+28Heres another pic from a wider angle along with the mirror: http://www.demotivate.info/2008/07/09/bat-signal-u ...
- markperia, on 07/10/2008, -0/+22really depends on either the wifey or the secretary.

- coheedcollapse, on 07/10/2008, -0/+21Nah, it was part of the ARG. There was a countdown on the site with two coordinates - one in New York City and one in Chicago. We met at Chicago at the time that it said on the site at the coordinates and there were all sorts of other people mulling about. Suddenly, a few people with "Gotham City News" sidebags showed up to pass out newspapers, pins, Citizens for Batman T-shirts, and keychains. Following that, four or so pizza boxes were given out (with Pizza, of course), each one had directions in it. My girlfriend and I hung back because we thought they were just a few t-shirts, suddenly, this kid comes bolting past by himself screaming (run south! RUN SOUTH). While we were running with him, he was telling us the directions to our next objective - find a lockbox by a citizens for batman sticker. I looked behind me and there were about a hundred or so people in the same shirt sprinting after us. It was hilarious. We found the lockbox, he unlocked it with the combo, and we sprinted off to our next objective, a park a little further south to find a hidden CB radio. Meanwhile, another team was on their way back to the park from another objective in which they recovered a sheet of paper that held an anagram on it. Turns out, it was a sort of bat and we looked it up on my friend's phone. We transmitted the answer to the riddle on the hand radio and the bat signal was SUPPOSED to suddenly shine on the Sears tower - unfortunately, it was way too light to see it, so it sort of failed until about 11:00 PM when it finally showed up. Overall, it was worth it, but the conclusion was a little unsatisfying because of the bugs.
Long winded, yes, but that's the story. - Dino451, on 07/10/2008, -0/+19In Gotham crime only happens at night
- DixonPro, on 07/10/2008, -0/+19The bushes ARE clouds!
- inactive, on 07/10/2008, -1/+19I thought that they would do something like this a few weeks ago, but on the sky, like God intended.
- DjOverEZ, on 07/10/2008, -2/+18I've always wondered how they signal Batman if they need him during the day.
- Paradiddler45, on 07/10/2008, -2/+18That's what she said?
- bobthegreat1224, on 07/10/2008, -0/+15For your future reference, there's only one "c" in "choking."
- JakeBC, on 07/10/2008, -2/+17Screw Batman, I'm going to see Space Chimps!
- inactive, on 07/10/2008, -0/+13It only works if there a clouds, also, it will be very faint and people won't notice. Don't you wish it were as good as the movies?
- dannytehmanny, on 07/10/2008, -0/+12only the batman has to notice
- Walcherina, on 07/10/2008, -0/+12How do you think one goes about to get a hold of one of these?
- burnstyle, on 07/10/2008, -0/+11where do they get such wonderful toys?
- coheedcollapse, on 07/10/2008, -1/+12The fact that they filmed it here was cool in itself. I loved the fact that I could just run out to Chicago and get some ridiculously awesome photos. Brach's candy factory parking lot imploding in a giant ball of fire, which I had taken photos inside of before and after the implosion, was by far the pinnacle of Dark Knight awesomeness.

- inactive, on 07/10/2008, -9/+19Must be annoying as hell having a spotlight shine on your building at night. How could you get any sleep?
- SevasTraSi, on 07/10/2008, -2/+12The marketing company keeps using bigger and bigger stunts.
Anyone else wonder if Ledger is actualy dead? It could be a WWE style stunt where he returns for the premier?

- thewebinfront, on 07/10/2008, -0/+7I went to the New York one last night. The bat signal was pretty awesome. However, I think everyone had hyped up what could possibly happen so much that they were disappointed by the bat signal being the ultimate goal.
- ccm1120, on 07/10/2008, -0/+7Well, it certainly wouldn't take a rocket scientist to figure this one out.
- kevro, on 07/10/2008, -0/+7does the Dark Knight really need promoting?
