- BobbyMC, on 09/27/2008, -2/+43I hear it made over a trillion theoretical dollars too.
- JenniferInMO, on 09/27/2008, -4/+45I LOVED IT. Thank you, Michael. Just another reason to push a little harder. We cannot let it happen again, especially when we have such a phenomenal candidate this year. Watch the movie, pass it on, have a viewing party with people who are pro-Obama, but who are not yet active. Let it motivate you to step it up just one more notch!
- swrostmore, on 09/26/2008, -4/+39I bet it reaches a bigger audience than 'An American Carol'
- Crath, on 09/27/2008, -2/+22I wen't from somebody with the mindset of "i hate politics, all of the candidates are just selling themselves any way they can, I hate war and would never fight for this country" to "i finally understand what politics are all about, and i am really considering joining the service"
... he is a new hero of mine.
now i need to see Fahrenheit 9/11 - TwwIX, on 09/27/2008, -5/+22Should i give a *****?
- jakeou812, on 09/27/2008, -1/+15Oh get over it, ya crying little bitch.
- msflower97, on 09/27/2008, -0/+13You should start with "Roger and Me" and work your way through the rest. If you like Michael Moore you'll like all his movies (even if you don't agree with everything he says).
- Stochio, on 09/27/2008, -5/+14It's not very good. I watched it a few days ago.
- Prototek, on 09/27/2008, -6/+14I think he released it for free because it wouldn't be a box office success. I only watched half of the movie but it had too much live music.
- terracottapai, on 09/27/2008, -0/+8Congratulations on caring.
Don't think the rest of us could. - urbandistrict, on 09/27/2008, -0/+7BELIEVE IT BUCKO!
- SpectralSounds, on 09/27/2008, -1/+8... I watched it and didn't think much of it. There were some parts that made me laugh, particularly the "What would Jesus bomb?" comment. I am pro-Obama and was a little let down with the movie. It was free though, so I can't complain. He was preaching to the choir so to speak, so it didn't effect me very much.
- Speed, on 09/27/2008, -0/+7Actually, it was just two weeks:
http://www.cnn.com/US/9905/01/nra.protest.02/
Next time, so some research before you use a faulty accusation. - OddMoniker, on 09/27/2008, -5/+11I DON'T get why people think he's full of *****. I'm an average person with an objective viewpoint. I used to not give a ***** about politics. My parents voted for Bush in 2000, and I was too young to care. I assumed that since they were my parents, they had to be right. I took it upon myself to pay attention to what was going on. I am biased only to the truth, and I don't see how Mike Moore is a "sleaze ball" or anything like that. He seems to me like your normal everyday American. I believe he has a point. His films convey the truth, like it or not.
- Andrew7, on 09/27/2008, -2/+8Wow- its easier to give something away then it is to sell it.
I don't believe this... - michaelfitz, on 09/27/2008, -2/+8It already has...
- jakeou812, on 09/27/2008, -0/+4you just contributed nothing except your disgust for fat people. If you're going to say something, at least say something.
- huff51, on 09/27/2008, -0/+4you do know that we are about to bail out wall street right?
- deadbaby, on 09/27/2008, -0/+3The US is a super power -- anything we do is going to have impacts around the world -- sometimes negative. The far left feels we can be more careful, more intelligent, more diplomatic and do less harm. The only way to get there is to acknowledge when things go wrong. It doesn't mean they hate America -- it means they think American can and should do better.
The far right view tends to be that, when Republicans are in power, to pretend everything is great and getting better. America can do no wrong. I am skeptical of that mindset because it allows problems to sneak up on you. For example, both Bush & McCain didn't see the economic crisis coming because they really believe tax cuts should solve all our problems. They didn't see the Iraq crisis coming because they couldn't fathom that Americans would invade a country and not be greeted as liberators.
Being critical of things is how you learn from your mistakes. - FasterGun, on 09/27/2008, -1/+4I'm ok with it really.
- Divector8, on 09/27/2008, -2/+5I wouldn't call criticizing leaders "hating America". I'd call that patriotism.
The founding fathers took special care to allow us to do that, thus keeping the government in check. - tokyokevin, on 09/27/2008, -0/+3I'm a registered Republican planning to vote for Obama, but can't see Slacker because I live abroad. Geography doesn't always determine politics. I guess there will be a torrent fur us "furriners".
- Speed, on 09/27/2008, -0/+3And your point is...
- warsongs7, on 09/27/2008, -0/+3Socialist does not automatically equal communist.
- inactive, on 09/27/2008, -5/+8this was a great movie, there should be more patriots in this country like Micheal Moore!
- Speed, on 09/27/2008, -0/+3You know, people said the same things in 2000 and 2004...
- jaredcat, on 09/27/2008, -1/+4I kept waiting for the meat of the movie to start and it never did... it was just excerpts from live events that Moore appeared at recently and a few musical numbers.
- noen, on 09/27/2008, -1/+4You mean like Bush and the rest of the GOP? Nawww, I believe in socialism for everyone, not just for my buddies.
- emeraldclaw4, on 09/27/2008, -1/+3I dont really like michael moore but I do give his movies a chance.. This one absolutely sucked.
- Namco, on 09/27/2008, -0/+2What do bucko mean?
- irishclover, on 09/27/2008, -4/+6Do America a favor and watch the movie to get motivated to vote this year!
- ChileanGoD, on 09/27/2008, -2/+4Problem fixed... I was watching it with WMP... It turns out VLC is capable of play the full movie witch is 1h40 or so. Pretty wierd...
- scy1192, on 09/27/2008, -1/+3tell that to the guys at Linux HQ
- unhg, on 09/27/2008, -0/+2October 2 is the deadline, you're still good =)
- OddMoniker, on 09/27/2008, -0/+2I dugg you up because I realize you're being funny.
- bubba9999, on 09/27/2008, -0/+1Fahrenheit 9/11 will make you angry. - er. Angrier.
- Kallius, on 09/27/2008, -0/+1If you're going to download it, go for the torrent. Hypernia=EPIC FAIL. Spent an hour sloading from the site, then crapped out completely. It was a complete waste of bandwidth.
- Namco, on 09/27/2008, -0/+1WHAT? I' mo kill 'em!
- leif77, on 09/27/2008, -2/+3Did you watch the movie... he never said the government did it... he was just saying they didnt do anything to stop it and that we had it coming.
- stonecircle, on 06/11/2009, -0/+1Actually, Michael had to buy the rights back from the producer (not cheap) to be able to do this. He could have easily shown it in the theatres and sold DVDs but is his gift back to his fans who have supported him, and there are a LOT of us.
- rickremixx, on 09/27/2008, -3/+4yeah i agree this one sucked just a replay of some old stuff
- rheaume, on 09/27/2008, -1/+2gj
- Merp08, on 09/28/2008, -0/+1I'm planning on it!! He just should have said something about the present election.
- xenoploid, on 09/28/2008, -0/+1snooze fest.
- PovRayMan, on 09/27/2008, -3/+4Exactly. This video is nothing more than a massive circle jerk that can be summed up as "Hey remember that time we spent all that time and lost in the end? Yeah, those were some good times..."
- Creasy, on 09/27/2008, -0/+1Wow, a movie (or better fake documentary) for free download/stream is "killing the box office". Awesome stuff!
- bagboyrebel, on 09/28/2008, -0/+1Right, real Americans believe in censoring those that disagree with the establishment, just like the founding fathers wanted.
- Merp08, on 09/27/2008, -0/+1I like Moore and his movies. There were certain parts in this movie I liked.... but we lost in the end, so what's the point of this movie? I could understand if Kerry won and it was a documentary on the movement or something, but it's a documentary about a movement that didn't get their candidate elected. Yeah, I know they stole the election again, I'm just saying what is the point of this movie? Why didn't he do something about THIS election in the PRESENT day?
- stonecircle, on 06/11/2009, -0/+1The point of the movie is we need to GET OUT AND VOTE ON NOVEMBER 4. The last election was lost/won (depending on your viewpoint) by a handful of people, relatively speaking. If you're unhappy with how things went the past eight years, get out and do something about it. The release date of this movie was to coincide with the upcoming election to tell people, hey, wake up! Don't let it happen again! DO SOMETHING! Exercise your right to make your voice count!
