- Jagger750, on 07/02/2009, -1/+33Buried for being ***** laggy.
- Valence1920, on 07/02/2009, -13/+39In the real world, the Mac would have lost because it would have to stop fight to change its tampon or something.
- DavidTurnbull, on 07/02/2009, -1/+21It certainly had better character development than a Michael Bay film.
- Lorddias, on 07/02/2009, -0/+18I couldn't bear to watch it, the 20 FPS or so it ran at killed me.
- scarwars, on 07/02/2009, -7/+20"SO I assume this movie was exported from a Mac, due to the POOR framefrate"
=] - MooseOfReason, on 07/02/2009, -1/+14You must be on a Mac!
Oh *****, no he didn't! - andehbrown, on 07/02/2009, -0/+10Mac-bashing on digg? This is new...
- inactive, on 07/02/2009, -0/+9Linux PC = Old Beard
- benbrooks101, on 07/02/2009, -0/+6Watching it on Windows XP and it's laggy as ***** even in non-HD
All other youtube videos run fine in HD
Edit: http://www.mycomputerisalive.com/large_trailer.htm ...
This one is fine, and I'm sure I just heard a doom 2 sound in there for a door opening. - EoNhausen, on 07/02/2009, -5/+10He's merely stating a fact.
- Rhendal, on 07/02/2009, -1/+5Usually they feel the need to defend their platform because any time they mention they own a Mac, they get a load of crap from PC users. I have a Macbook but also have a PC, and I STILL get ***** from people I play games with online, even though I'm dual platform.
- decoy26517, on 07/02/2009, -16/+20PC > Mac, you know it's true.
- ridd1e, on 07/02/2009, -0/+4Laggy.
Too short.
Too dark.
Buried. - viking0895, on 07/02/2009, -1/+5YEAH!!!!! FANBOY WAR!!!!!!!!!
- SamSks, on 07/02/2009, -0/+4Yeah, you got a point.
Whenever I need a Linux box, I go and buy a refurb for $200. I check out the hardware and if it checks out, I reformat and slap Linux on it. The hardware is usually older tech. Example: DDR memory instead of DDR2, older Celeron Pentium 4s, smaller hard drives, etc... But they work great for Linux!!
If I don't check out the hardware while Windows is on it and later find something wrong when I have Linux on it, I'm afraid the store won't take it back because it's not in its original condition.
One day though, I'm going to build an i7 DDR3 machine for Linux! probably when i7s are as much as the Core 2 Duos now. Or maybe I'll use AMD Extreme.
Sorry, I caught up in my fantasy. It happens when you get old. Talk about Old Beard! - inactive, on 07/02/2009, -6/+9Macs would also call time out to douche themselves. Just like the users.
- blorc, on 07/02/2009, -6/+9Aren't you defending your platform right now? O SNAP
- Soragon, on 07/02/2009, -1/+4So was blorc.
- IronChef75, on 07/02/2009, -11/+14Talk about role reversal. The Mac user is always the one that feels the need to defend their platform. The PC user just shuts the hell up and gets some real work done.
- bthree78, on 07/02/2009, -0/+3The gray screen of death is scarier. It's like an old Universal horror movie monster.
- ifruit, on 07/02/2009, -0/+3@ SamSks
Did you know that Rush Limbaugh is a huge Mac FanBoy? - eihwaz, on 07/02/2009, -0/+2I don't think I really needed a 1-minute trailer for a 5-minute short movie…
- bytor4232fb, on 07/02/2009, -0/+2Meh. Not funny at all. I liked the original better. The banter between the girl and boy in the beginning was just great.
"Your face has viruses"
( Disclaimer: I'm a PC/Ubuntu guy ) - MooseOfReason, on 07/02/2009, -1/+3Who the *****'s Methuselah?
- inactive, on 07/02/2009, -0/+2Oh *****! The macs are turtling! In terms of both speed and defense.
- KingGorilla, on 07/02/2009, -2/+4PC's zerg rush.
Done - tao52nyc, on 07/02/2009, -1/+2Try taking it on an airplane. :P
- Kruse, on 07/02/2009, -0/+1Ok, that looked stupid as hell.
- CrazyEddie041, on 07/02/2009, -0/+1This article has made me more excited about cricket than anything that has ever happened to me.
Not saying much. - sirjoebob, on 07/02/2009, -0/+1Hey now- Windows 7 isn't that bad.
- SamSks, on 07/02/2009, -0/+1I thought it was more svelte. No, I mean more elegant. *****! No I mean more effeminate! Er, something like that.
- sirjoebob, on 07/02/2009, -0/+1Translation:
"I''m cool and edgy because I make fun of Michael Bay."
The only people who have the right are others who do his job. Additionally, if he is so bad, why has he made more this decade than the combined salaries of all digg users on this thread will make in a lifetime? lol - inactive, on 07/02/2009, -2/+3The Framerate on that video blows... Must have been made on a mac.
- sirjoebob, on 07/02/2009, -0/+1No, I assume it is on Youtube abd YT quality is for naught these days. lol
- sodoh, on 07/02/2009, -0/+1It probably showed you less of the action sequences then the trailer Terminator Salvation. :p
- inactive, on 07/02/2009, -0/+1make sure when you build your extreme pc for linux you slap DAMN SMALL LINUX on a TB drive :)
- chipxsd, on 07/02/2009, -0/+1I wonder why there's no South Park episode on Mac vs. peecee subject?
- DavidTurnbull, on 07/03/2009, -0/+1I was just trying to get diggs, calm down.
- alpharaptor, on 07/02/2009, -0/+1its certainly not going through baggage handling, it won't appear out the other end.
- Huleboeren, on 07/02/2009, -0/+1AH MA GAWD ITS TRANSFORMERS 3!
- alpharaptor, on 07/02/2009, -0/+1it still had 'splosions
- darthbutcher, on 07/02/2009, -6/+6In a world where people forget Linux...
- sodoh, on 07/02/2009, -3/+3I think the defensiveness is the amount of fud about it. Also there is an almost "I must abuse this person" when you mention you own a mac. It gets tiring after the 100'th time. When people actually use a mac though the abuse stops.
One great thing about a mac though...
clueless Friend/relative: "Hi, I installed some stupid crap from the internet onto my windows and now my machine is hosed. Can you please fix it for me. I will annoy with this and guilt trip you if you don't because your a computer expert. When you do fix it for me I will tell all my friends and relatives to contact you with similar issues".
Me: "I own a mac"
"Oh.. ok I will find someone else"
#1 selling point of the mac. Stops stupid people asking you to fix their windows machines. - inactive, on 07/02/2009, -6/+6Ah... Good ol Alienware. It never fails to eat mac pros for breakfast and ***** imacs.
- Ophie, on 07/02/2009, -1/+1Kinda like what Michael Bay would direct, but better.
- swimtwobirds, on 07/02/2009, -1/+1welll, alright then.
- swimtwobirds, on 07/02/2009, -2/+2you're the one using the os made by the talentless, bespectacled, sweaty jumper wearing, no programming talent, serial masturbator Gates. don't blame us if our os/hardware is classy and pisses litres onto the intergalactically awful piece of ***** that is vista/win7.
flaaaaaaaaaaaammmmmmmmmmeeee. - borez, on 07/02/2009, -8/+8And the PC would have just bluescreened at the first sign of trouble.
/Oh Oh... now we're off. - SultS, on 07/02/2009, -2/+1Mac = PC.
