- bossm4n, on 02/03/2008, -3/+280As much as I would enjoy an AD movie, just put the damn show back on the air. Anything would be better than all those retarded game shows, like "Are you smarter than a jar of marshmallow fluff" or whatever the hell.
- hater2win, on 02/03/2008, -2/+199This news made me so happy that I blue myself.
- kete00, on 02/03/2008, -3/+199I wouldn't mind kissing that man between the cheeks.
- guichetroo, on 02/03/2008, -1/+177oh sure...why don't I just make a movie in my $6000 suit....COME ON!
- coloneltcb, on 02/03/2008, -1/+171Before this devolves into a long list of AD quotables, let's just bask in the glory of this news.
And keep our fingers crossed... - badwithcomputer, on 02/03/2008, -3/+144sure, like the guy in the 5 thousand dollar pants is waiting in line to see this- COME ON!
- bigmarc27, on 02/03/2008, -1/+118STEVE HOLT!
- Acksull, on 02/03/2008, -3/+102I’m afraid I prematurely shot my wad on what was supposed to be a dry run, if you will, so now I’m afraid I have something of a mess on my hands.
- SmackMyMac, on 02/03/2008, -1/+97If this happens, I'll paint myself Blue on opening night when I see it!
- genovais, on 02/03/2008, -2/+89I'm chicken dancing as I type in celebration. It is difficult.
- zimmermans, on 02/03/2008, -3/+85Let's hope there is a large amount of analrapist action.
- zachdybs, on 02/03/2008, -4/+84I don't see it as a series. Maybe a movie.
- Roger, on 02/03/2008, -0/+79The zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line.
I'm the firstborn. Sick of playing second fiddle. Always third in line for everything. Tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over. - chadillak, on 02/03/2008, -2/+75I hope they make a ride of the movie.
- scottie369, on 02/03/2008, -0/+69I would definitely buy this movie when it comes out and I am very curious how it will adapt into a movie.....I guess you could say I'm buy curious
- uberAileen, on 02/03/2008, -0/+67damn Fox for killing this show, it was too beautiful for this earth
- aldenhg, on 02/03/2008, -0/+62I really hope this gets some traction. I was always so happy to see a show address the plague of us nevernudes.
- itkeepsuswarm, on 02/03/2008, -3/+62It's the final countdowwwwwwn
- StMac, on 02/03/2008, -1/+59Taste the happy!
- kete00, on 02/03/2008, -1/+58Has anyone in this forum ever even seen a chicken?
- jstack, on 02/03/2008, -0/+57This has been the most satisfying digg since I've become a member.
- guichetroo, on 02/03/2008, -2/+56For anyone who forgot that this really was the smartest and best show on TV, you can watch every episode online here: http://arresteddevelopment.msn.com/#episodes (must use IE, b/c its through MSN)
- Animelee, on 02/03/2008, -3/+55Come on guys, if any of you have never seen the show, go ahead and do so! PLEASE! It's a great three seasons worth of comedy that was taken off the air before it even got the chance to hit its peak.
You like [my fellow Bramptonian] Michael Cera in Juno or Superbad? He's at his best in Arrested Development.
It's just... one of the smartest comedies on TV. On par with 30 Rock, Scrubs, Extras and The Office (US and UK).
Give it a chance if you haven't, so you can get hooked like us. Let's pull a Family Guy and Futurama here. - DannoSpeaks, on 02/03/2008, -1/+52Nevernudes Unite!
- johnboycanada, on 02/03/2008, -0/+50Arrested Development was one of the most brilliantly written sitcoms of all time. The jokes were sophisticated and not overreaching. AD never inserted a punchline that wasn't funny instead the lack of laugh tracks and characters obliviousness to the joke at hand kept my attention and pulled me in every episode. I can't wait for a movie. Horray for AD!!!
- inactive, on 02/03/2008, -4/+53There have been three stories on this today, and NONE OF THEM have made it to the front page? What the *****!
CMON DIGG THIS. - tmyprod, on 02/03/2008, -0/+46Bees!?
- sherifffruitfly, on 02/03/2008, -0/+46And THAT'S why you don't cancel Arrested Development!
- jdevilz, on 02/03/2008, -0/+45Baby...we got a stew goin!
- SirRudy, on 02/03/2008, -0/+45I should have never given up animation rights.
- whodat807, on 02/03/2008, -0/+42As much as I love 30 Rock, Extras, and both versions of the office, Arrested Development is far and away the smartest show of the bunch. I love rewatching the episodes just to appreciate how finely crafted they are.
- inactive, on 02/03/2008, -0/+41so many poorly chosen words there...
- x0epyon0x, on 02/03/2008, -1/+41Well, that was a freebie.
- aldenhg, on 02/03/2008, -0/+40Cha chee cha chee cha chee!
- JordanRoss1, on 02/03/2008, -0/+40Universe, you've done it again.
- Mikesnav, on 02/03/2008, -0/+38AD was regarded as a "smart" show. Maybe you don't meet the basic requirement..
- thesandmcmahon, on 02/03/2008, -1/+39Please god, let this get through. If this happens, it will be the greatest movie in the history of mankind.
- yfguitarist, on 02/03/2008, -0/+37You just want to look at other boys' linuses!
- pinstripewizard, on 02/03/2008, -0/+36NO TOUCHING!
- x0epyon0x, on 02/03/2008, -0/+34There are just so many poorly chosen words in that statement.
- azbmr, on 02/03/2008, -1/+35That show was BEYOND "on par" with the shows you listed there. I was impressed with how often the plot lines and jokes would interrelate from previous episodes. It made for infinite "rewatchablity." Re-watch them all, and you will find subtle jokes you didn't catch the first or second time around.
- jacobra, on 02/03/2008, -0/+33I joined DIGG just to digg this.
- thatotherdigger, on 02/03/2008, -0/+33This sort of news should be on Bob Loblaws Law Blog
-Mr. F - phantom_mullet, on 02/03/2008, -0/+33The Tunnel of Love Indubitably
- yfguitarist, on 02/03/2008, -0/+32Chickens don't clap!
- badwithcomputer, on 02/03/2008, -1/+33Speak for yourself- Seeing lives get ruined Wednesdays at 9:30 is now my new favorite pastime.
- Nocturnus, on 02/03/2008, -0/+31There's got to be a better way to say that.
- inactive, on 02/03/2008, -0/+31We have unlimited juice? This party is gonna be off the hook.
- Chiliap2, on 02/03/2008, -0/+30I hope they add Gobias industries, I always wanted to see what happened to that
