I too used to play this in highschool. When a teacher asked what the name of the game was, one clever student looked quickly around the room for inspiration and told him the name of the game was "backpack". - MtDewaholic, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5I am more surprised that they are even showing the movie than I am that they changed the name of it. My wife grew up on a farm just north of Orange City. Orange City is the county seat of Sioux County. All of Sioux County is extremely religious. Most people up there belong to some form of Reformed church. Many years ago my grandparents interviewed for a teaching position in Orange City. The superintendant asked them if they were Catholic (they were Lutheran), not to be discriminatory, but to warn them that they might not be welcomed by the parents.
All gas stations are closed on Sunday. If you need to flee you better fill up on Saturday or hope you can make it 30 miles to a place that is open. From what I've been told, it wasn't until just a couple years ago that Sioux Center and Orange City got a movie theater. There are no bars in city limits. Walmart (in Sioux Center) has to close Saturday night at 11:59 then opens again at 6:00 a.m Sunday.
I tell my wife that her family reminds me of the Flanders on the Simpsons.
Anyway, Sioux County is a Dutch community. They are religious, but don't let that scare you. If you ever get the chance too hook up with a Dutch chick from there - go for it!! They aren't prudish in the bedroom. Guess what you idiot...people who object to language (whether you agree with it or not) are not always objecting out of religious beliefs. Sometimes, people...even Christians...are objecting simply becuase htey don't want their kids seeing, or using language like that.
Not wanting your kid to be around cursing is not a religious thing.

They had a Tengen Tetris arcade machine that you could play for hours and not lose. It was way easy and awesome. Best quarter you could every spend.

The point is, YOU STUPID *****, the title Jackass is referring to the definition of "A foolish or stupid person; a blockhead:" (Answers.com) The name of a donkey is "ass" and "jackass" means male donkey. A perfectly normal word to say.
The title of the movie has no relation to the actual human "ass" (the horrible bad word kids shouldn't see yet they will anyways). Putting "butt" there actually refers to the human part!
About the "evidence" you say I was missing. I was going on logic there bud. Children or no children, it's Christians that try to censor things that don't matter but is still protected with rights (see also: first amendment). 90% of it is stupid issues, like this one.
