Identity of New Transformers Robot in Transformers 2?

latinoreview.com — Yesterday the Hasbro website gave an update about the sequel to Transformers. It Mentions that the title for part 2 is Revenge of the Fallen …which can only mean one thing. All signs seem to indicate that Jazz may return in part 2... Could it have to do with the title of the sequel and the name of a Transformer robot we haven’t seen?

    "Meanwhile, TFW2005 got a hold of a leaked call sheet from the set in Bethlehem PA. In it they have tons of new information regarding cast and crew, scenes, storyline, and vehicles. A lot of it is speculative, however TFW2005 can verify that the mentioned "Arcee Motorcycles" are on set."

Screen after screen of product placement, shaky camera work, and a stupid ass love story that sounds like it was written by a 6th grader (I guess the target audience). I was going into this hoping Transformers grew up with me, but I guess at some point I outgrew it. I still watch it though, if only for the sake of nostalgia. I hope the second one revives my hopes.

While Bay's lack of character and plot development irritate me, I understand that as long as his movies keep making hundreds of millions of dollars, he's not gonna be out of work any time soon...


      And there's only one word for that: AWESOME! *explosion*

        Sure, it did complete ripoff Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and a number of other "home-invasion" horror films from the past few years...but what it lacked in Originality in plot, it made up for in Directing. For as much as I rag on the Strangers myself, I have to give the Newbie Writer/Director a lot of respect for the detail of this film.

      With directing like that in the first place it wouldn't surprise me if the 2nd movie Bay did decide to bring back the annoying raciest stereo type black robot that had 2 lines then died without me even noticing he was in the battle.

I hear people enjoyed the series pretty all right. I've never seen it though.

  • drmangrum, on 06/06/2008, -1/+12It would seem logical that with a title "Revenge of the Fallen" that it would Megatron all over again. Revenge is typically associated as a negative/evil emotion. Being "killed" by the all spark in the first movie would certain put him in the fallen category; actually come to think of it, all the Decepticons were defeated and thrown in the bottom of the ocean, so technically they're all Fallen.

I would assume people think Jazz has something to do with it because the other day a report came out about how the pontiac solstice was going to be back in the sequel.
