- lawyernheart, on 10/12/2007, -1/+15ummm thats an awesome video game.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+13Awful game? Get real. That game was amazing for it's time.
- robwolf100, on 10/12/2007, -2/+11That "awful' game is the single best game to play if you go to a Round Table or other Pizza joint. For years you had the option of either some racing game or Area 51. I picked my choice.
Ps. That game rocked on the ps1 if you bought the gun. - navitatl, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7"awful video game"?
That game was really fun. - shoeberto, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3It's an adaptation of the PS2/Xbox FPS game, not the light gun arcade game. As far as I know, there's no actual relationship between the two of those beyond the title, either.
- aserer511, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5hey! that game is not HORRIBLE. it's realistic, in Iraq when soldiers shoot a stray round to their left, their ammo is replenished.
- jon02129, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4WRONG game people! They are talking about the PS2/Xbox game of the same name.

I also enjoyed this game, and it could certainly be movie material. Assuming of course, Uwe Boll doesn't direct it. - snecklifter, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Ah, the hours spent playing that (and the money wasted) in my local pub. Congratulations on the dick of a submitter who slags off the movie before its even been made. Maybe he couldn't get past the second aircraft hanger. Or am I just feeding the troll?
- hardkorn, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3i concur, that game was awesome. light gun games in general didn't interest me, but the weapons, pacing and enemies made for a very fun experience.
- wankerface, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2No, but I know a brilliant and highly entertaining game by that name.
- StrangeFamous, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2This makes me wonder... could he turn it into a surprise hit with his magical brain?? The Filth is one of my favorite books of all time. The Invisibles are also way up there. Guess we'll just have to wait and see....
- d3dm, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Oh hell yeah, it's a blast! I used to select Two-Player mode, grab a pistol in each hand and just blast the heck out of everything on the screen until my forearms cramped up.
- expert01, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I thought the original Area 51 (have it for PC) and the one for PC/XBox were both fine.
- ahhell, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3I thought that game was great! The fake moon lander set was brilliant!!
The other Area 51 game (the lightgun one) would make an absolute ***** game...see House of the Dead for example. Actually, please DON'T see House of the Dead...you'll thank me that you didn't. - Coolgamer, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2The arcade game was great fun. Cheesy acting only made it BETTER!
"C'mon... STAY LOW!"
*GRAA-REH!"
I remember shooting barrels thrown at me, shooting down a helicopter firing missiles at me, killing alien babies... the modren remake SUCKS. - gr0ss, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2What about the Resident Evil movies? those are two badass movies.
- sleemo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1seconded.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1 Well he has visited Aliens, like I did in Clovis New Mexico off of Sr 288 / CR 2.. However he is under their unholy deceptions.. This was no accident at all..
- loof, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3That game did rock on the PS1 but no one would play it with me because I only had one gun and using the regular controller kinda sucked.
- DisposableRob, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1This better have a huge budget. Morrison is at his best when he writes massive multidimensional,cosmic-level stories.
- flexmentallo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Can't wait for this! Morrison is a God!
- uncledeercamp, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I'd rather he make a Doom Patrol movie.
- valardur, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Wow, having Morrison on board has me intrigued about this movie.
One of the comics I like the most is a sci-fi written by him. We3.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/We3 - Berkana, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3I have a very hard time believing that any movie based on a video game (or any game) will ever be good. My case:
Dungeons & Dragons (Blech! I have a hard time imagining how this movie script could have made it past the proposal stage. I'm ashamed I watched it; I could have walked out, but I deluded myself into staying because I paid to see it.)
Final Fantasy (This one is barely better than D&D. That's not saying much.)
Doom ("doomed".)
You name it; if it's a movie based off of a game, chances are it will suck. When will they learn? - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1You do know that they are talking about the 'latest' version of the game right? like made a couple of years ago...?
I thought it was crap. - diabolicdiablo, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1I thought Silent Hill was pretty good.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Grant is okay. The voices are telling me this will be a good movie. But I am being forced by alien brain parasites to write this though. Soon i will sacrifice baby ducks to appease Satan. Even the wisdom of Digg cannot save me from the shadowbeings. Where is the aluminum foil to make the hat of power? I do not know. I do not know. Save me, Leroy Jenkins!
- zardoz73, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Awesome! The Invisibles is the best comic ever.
- sharper130, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Here are real aerial imagery of the actual base: http://www.intrepidearth.com/tour/06/12/26/index.php?loc=default
- azninvaznxx, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0who's going to Pen "15 Club" ?

What is Digg?
