    Three words - VirtualDub / HyperCam2 / Fraps [..for rtsp & mms, use hidownload]

    [HypersnapDX and QuickScreenRecorder also work but are not needed here]

    With this software capture ANY on-screen video/flash can be captured, [with audio] & saved locally.

    Sorry to flip out, its just upsetting that such things happen. I would be fine with a different approach, but seriously, this thing seems to be almost perfectly identical to my script. I don't mean to cause trouble but this is just crazy. Thanks winter_leaf for the clarification.
  • BassJunkie, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1had a quick play with the service, i remember seeing this ages ago int he lab section but it's much better now! the option to download the video is kewl, even tho it's not very good quality i think i've found ALL the best bits from BBC's Top Gear series on there!!

Only thing I'd add is that I'd kick the X-Box out with him; kid obviously isn't mature enough to handle a game like that. Oh, and nobody let Jack Thompson see that clip.

One of the things I have been looking for is a way to capture some of the DIY stuff from ScreenSavers and CFH. I teach Computer Repair and Networking to high school students and being able to get some of this content on my site would be extremely helpful.

    It works fine. Give it a couple of seconds if they don't work right away, they are being killed by users.

    But I think that the author if he used your idea he should contact you for the credit. But I'm not sure that he used your idea or not.

    This one, on the other hand, seems to be the exact same thing, just with not as many features...
